“I would highly recommend Po Boy Express. The po boys are delicious. The roast beef is cooked to perfection. The staff is great. They are super friendly and have great customer service. I cannot say enough about how great this place is. We will definitely be eating here as much as possible.“

Stopped here and had shrimp poboys, her first one ever...and it tasted just like I remember when I was a kid growing up in New Orleans! “The food was very good and served a table of 10 pretty quickly but several things needed to be added to be a sit down cafe. There needs to be high chairs available, it was hard to eat holding a 10 month old. I would like to see tea and water available not in bottles and need sweetner packets available. The person taking orders seemed to be a bit confused on ringing up items and answering questions we asked, such as is there okra in the gumbo. He did come back and made my order better by offering a cup of very good gumbo...no okra.“
“This is a review for the eating-in experience, I didn't fully realize this place specializes in take-home meats and soups until after I came in. Got a bit of most things, I thought the flavor on the smoked wings, pork shanks, and chicken balls were amazing, the rest were pretty good too. Happy with the service and atmosphere too.“
“great food, ample servings, expensive, but worth every penny we love their stuffed shrimp basket, but I do substitute the boiled potatoes with butter and seasoning on them for the fries the fries showed me nothing and I always ask for the slaw and green pickled tomatoes or they do not give them to you I also get the fried catfish, a pound with loaded potatoes, all that is very good And their ribs are nice and meaty though they are more like baked ribs, not cooked out back I get the loaded potato with those too because to us the potato salad and beans are just not veyr good Shanes is our favorite neighborhood place out here“
“I’ve been driving over from Marshall, Texas. The crawfish is excellent. The neck bones and turkey necks with gravy are seasoned to perfection. Shane’s used to be my go to for crawfish but I’m here to tell you Lil Animals have moved them around.“
“Great little hidden gem. Google told me to come here otherwise I never would have stopped. You have to pay for parking on the street with the meter but that’s the only negative. They have been around forever and have some great food. I got the mushroom chicken sandwich and it came out hot and very fresh. It seemed to have a very steady crowd during lunch time. I would stop here again.“
“My family and I visited here one day wanting something different and tasty. This place exceeded my expectations! Looked family owned and operated. The food was reasonably priced. The taco salad was really good and worth the price listed. They have all types of cakes that are definitely homemade. I think. Lol. The burgers are a good size as well. The environment was inviting and cozy. The customers remained a steady flow and we were there around 2 o'clock in the afternoon. All together, I would definitely recommend this to others.“
