Family run business (hopefully) in an off the beaten track location 1 hr from New Orleans. Good, filling food. Easy on spices - ordered a Baleada - basically a giant burrito without the rice and loosely rather than tightly bound. Their melon agua was homemade, as well as all the food. Kind with reasonable prices.
Very good gorditas the guacamole was off the chain good the staff was nice and service was fast. Going back before returning to Texas. My brother recommended the tacos de barbacoa so that’s next.

The 3 of us each ordered a different entree and all of agreed that each dish was tasty and generous. I wasn't expecting much when I saw the empty parking lot and the appearance of a super market awaiting me. But the bright decorations of the dining room and friendliness of the staff including the guy who took our orders and answered all our questions about items I was unfamiliar with, made us feel right at home.
