“They are very kind and affectionate. Their food is the best among Chinese restaurants. With just the right seasoning, the taste is fantastic. We always have Mongolian beef and General Toe chicken. And the spicy soup tastes really healthy. I love king yen!!!!“
“Excellent food at very fair prices, some of the best dumplings and wonton soup I've had! my two friends and I shared one of the family combos and were totally stuffed AND still had leftovers. The hostess was very kind and accommodating when my friend asked for extra tofu. I would definitely recommend!“
“Good food, always get what we order. A good excuse to catch some Pokemon on the way from Springfield :)Parking: Easy parking outside, always spaces. My wife loves the Tofu options, with sesame... not my thing, but it looks good, I just hate the texture of all tofu, unofrtunately! I can recommend the Mongolian beef. Watch out if you don't like celery , I hate it, they will happily not put it in the food if you ask in advance :)“
“Great food at a great price. We had Singapore chicken and hibachi chicken and shrimp, and all were delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and they even threw in a free sushi roll since it was my dad's birthday. They definitely don't skimp on portion sizes, so count on having leftovers.“
“Asian Grill - RT5 Stateline Enfield, the best in the area. Takeout Ad's Pizzeria in WL or sit-down at Nonna's Pizza Route 140 EW. S5 Wed Sushi special @ the market in Suffield Center. Packed hogies H@M Grinder near Bradley Airport and now LA Subs by the cinema in Enfield's Mall. Sit down to impress Maine Seafood. For a classic joint with a bar Mark's Tavern. Both over the RT40 bridge in East Windsor. Mark Restaurant has a cafe Pleasant Street Enfield's in Old Tvilee for with gram but this Chinese can't be beat. Manja.“
“Very very fresh delicious food! Chin’s is the real deal! I always get take out and it is packed so that it stays very fresh. The dine-in area is always very clean but just not the atmosphere that I would want to dine in. Very friendly staff as well.“
“We were very impressed with our first visit to Golden Peacock! After discovering that our longtime “go-to” Chinese food establishment in Springfield, underwent a change of ownership (we had been loyal customers there, for over 30 years), and that along with the change of ownership, came changes to the food (not for the better), we realized that we needed to begin a search for a new, replacement “go-to” Chinese restaurant. This “search” led us to Golden Peacock. After reading a number of online reviews, and obtaining some referrals from friends and family, who have also had positive experiences here, we decided to give it a try. The food was very good! The service was impressive, as well! We found the staff to be attentive, very friendly, and well- organized. The atmosphere here, was very inviting. Carpet, tables/booths, bar area, were all very cleanly and tidy. The only minor thing that was somewhat noticeable, on our first-time visit, was that the wallpaper/wall decor was a bit dated, and that some of the wallpaper seams were pealing back a bit, off the wall, in the take-out waiting area. Again, MINOR thing! As far as the food goes, we sampled a variety of our favorite items from the menu, including chicken fingers, pork fried rice, egg rolls, and the general’s chicken. Everything was very good. Prices and food portions were reasonable. We found that the general’s chicken was a bit spicier than we were accustomed to, but aside from the “heat factor”, the flavor and texture was still excellent! The chicken fingers, egg rolls, and pork fried rice, were all very good, as well. Overall, we were very pleased with our first experience at Golden Peacock! We definitely plan on returning soon, to try some additional items off their menu.“
“Went with my daughter and we got to plates and two sodas. Paid over $50 for food that was ok but not great. The service was fast but its really more of a take out place. We dined in and it felt like we were eating in their back pantry. The table was so wobbly we decided to make a game of it to see who could eat without spilling. Would not go back again.“
“Easily one of the best in the area. I have two Chinese within walking distance, but prefer to drive here, as the quality and portions are much better.Favorite so far is the Bami Goreng lo mein. Carton is stuffed, noodles are yellow in color. Looked strange, tasted amazing. Most flavorful and spicy lo mein I've had.Went Back recently for Thai chicken and spareribs, brother had golden fingers, we both loved it.Only downside is the parking lot sucks, but whatever.Highly recommended.Parking: Very tight lot, spaces are all crooked, very awkward.“
