Definitely a five star baby. This place needs to be noticed more. Gongcha is nice too (they share the place) but I see the true gem is Cheers Cut

Cheers cut is my my go-to comfort food! I have gotten the bento box with the samurai crispy chicken and the extra large ninja chicken, but I prefer the bento box as everything is well balanced (the extra large fried chicken can be a bit too much if you just eat it for one person). The bento box consists of some salad, picked radish, seaweed, rice and of course, a large serving of fried chicken. Make sure you get the minced meat rice! Well worth the price and very filling!

Ted Danson quit Cheers because, in his own words, "Cheers Cut into my social life to an unacceptable degree." This is a pretty awesome Sushi and Poke Bowl place which shares its space with bubble tea chains in a number of different locations throughout the country. In Florida they mostly share with Kung Fu Tea whereas here in Boston it's sharing a space with a wonderful little Gong Cha. The food here is great and even though it's not dirt cheap, it's definitely better than some of the other stuff in these parts, and Poke places. It's worth getting some of this with your bubble tea if you're in the mood for sure. I prefer the Gong Cha but it's great to have this here as an option. In other news - My cut keeps hurting when I'm trying to lift weights. I'm like, cheers cut, really appreciate that.

Menu items are decently priced at $10. The food was good for dinner time and it was a fun time while my mother and daughter goes somewhere else for dinner tonight. Taiwanese food and milk tea tastes great for minors.

tl;dr Awesome Taiwanese food, and bonus points since Gong Cha is in the same store. Super busy, so there's a long wait I've been to the restaurant a couple times, and also ordered delivery several times. The problem with delivery is sometimes the crispy chicken will arrive a bit soggy, so it's not as tasty as eating it at the store. The restaurant is typically pretty busy, and it's much easier to order ahead and pickup at the restaurant. They serve everything in disposable takeout boxes, so it's not much different from ordering in the store. The line doesn't move that quickly, because GongCha and Cheers cut have separate cash registers, so when someone orders from both, the cashier has to ring them up twice. The food is awesome. I've gotten their ninja chicken nuggets (which is essentially popcorn chicken), grilled beef, fried squid, and fried shrimp. Honestly my favorite I probably the ninja chicken nuggets, and when I want something less crispy, the grilled beef. And when I'm ordering the bento box, I always get the minced pork. So yummy! I have a friend who loves the curry as his side dish, but I haven't tried it because I can't say no to the minced pork. The bento box always comes with the entree, a side dish, rice, some seaweed salad, some leafy salad, and some pieces of pickled daikon. Pretty filling, IMO, though I also don't have the biggest appetite. It's great to eat with a nice cup of GongCha boba. :)

This place was hard to find. It is hidden inside Gong Cha, and you pay separately at the counter which is inconvenient. The grilled beef combo with minced pork rice was delicious. Tasted like authentic Taiwanese lu rou fan. Food: 5/5 Service was ridiculously slow. The lady waiting on the kitchen was falling asleep, and she spilled sauce all over the bag. Bathroom was also messy and out of soap. Service: 2/5

I used the Yelp app to order a meal two weeks ago. I ordered their fried chicken patty along with an order of minced pork with rice. It was alright. The chicken wasnt particularly tender but it was crunchy and it was weirdly sweet. The rice was a bit too wet for my taste. I didn't try their bubble tea.

If you come here for food you should definitely try the rice with minced meat! My husband and I both enjoyed it more than anything else in our meals. The minced meat had a slightly sweet sauce that combined perfectly with the white rice. I ordered the grilled squid combo with minced meat and he ordered the grilled beef with plain white rice. The squid was pretty good and not chewy at all. The portion size for the squid was also larger than I expected considering the price and left me more than satisfied. We also loved the seaweed salad that came with the plate. Both our plates came with a regular side salad, seaweed salad, a vinaigrette dressing, and two pickled vegetable slices. My husbands grilled beef portion was on the smaller side but the overall plate left him satisfied. We also ordered two different types of tea which took longer than expected because they didn't have so many options that were on the menu. I don't know if it's because they recently opened or if it's just been a high demand. My husband asked if they had dairy free options and the man at the register said they didn't even though their was a Lactaid (Lactose free milk) bottle of milk behind him on the counter. I thought that was a little odd, but we decided to just let it go and order something else. They were also out of orange tea and grapefruit tea. He decided on the passion fruit tea and I decided on the melon tea. The passion fruit tea was significantly sweeter than the green tea, but they were both refreshing and delicious. My only thing is that I don't think I can justify paying $10 (after tax) for two of these teas again. Don't get me wrong, they were delicious, but a bit overpriced for the size. You could get a similar tea in a bottle at a supermarket or corner store for half the price and wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I would say the food is worth the price, but the tea not so much. Also, the use of space in this intimate restaurant is awesome. They have small table and stools in every little nook and cranny, but they also have black benches lined along all of the walls. These black benches double the available seating. The customer service was average and the ordering process was easy.

Cheers Cut is a Taiwanese style bento restaurant. Everything is served in to-go containers, even if you chose to dine in. It also shares the location with Gong Cha, so you can get bubble tea with your meals together. I got the fried squid combo, and was satisfied. Large pieces of perfectly fried squid, crunchy outside and tender inside, but still a bit chewy. I got the pork stewed rice with it combo, which was also good. Flavor was rich, not overly salty, and rice was well-cooked.

Came here after dinner... we ordered 2 drinks and we wait around 5-10 minutes but we also waited for our snacks. They called our number for our drinks that are ready but the the snacks, they forgot to called our number when is ready... we waited for more than half hour... since we are seated, it is fine but how can they forgot to call the number when is ready.

First of all- this place needs to TONE down their music! If you need to talk to a person right next to you - you need to pretty much raise your voice like you're at a concert. So my girlfriend and I came to check this new place out since they just opened recently but I believe this is a franchised establishment. (Since it's franchised- they shouldn't need much to work on but their staff) This is a counter service restaurant so order at the counter then seat yourself. We ordered the large fried squid combo (will need to order seasoning preference on protein and rice), fried chicken wing and a boba drink. Our order came out about 20 min later The amount of large fried squid pieces was the best part of the dish but the cooking and cutting it into bite size pieces- was a fail. ( they fried it but there was hardly any coating on it and) Fried chicken wings was a bit better. Little crispy(batter held up more than the squid) and hot, but that's about it. I ordered the salt and pepper version, but only tasted the batter. I guess the tiny sauce containers is what you're supposed to use to cover or dip your protein with. Girlfriend ordered a grapefruit drink and said it was pretty good but not the best shes had. I definitely will be back to give it another try but there is about 4 places within walking distance with similar items so they definitely need to up their game.

Before I ate: Unless this takeout is delicious... Im not coming back. I ordered at 7:48pm for 1 entree and 2 apps... It came out at 8:22pm. I was the first one into the place! No one was in front of me! With no explanation or even a "hey we just need a few minutes. We know youre waiting"... Nope. Nuffin. Over a half hour later did we get our food. After I ate: it was actually.... Delicious! I probably wouldnt get the chicken I got again because it had way too much cheese for me (Though others may enjoy). Id probably get what my sister got: a chicken cutlet over curry rice and the fried shrimp. To a delightful surprise, the chicken was juicy and tasty. The shrimp came with shrimp crackers! Those were slightly salty but well fried. The crackers did get a bit greasy though as it sat under the shrimp. Pro: delicious chicken, definitely better than other competitors in the area (vivi and bcafe) Con: wait time is ridiculous, even if you opened just a month or so ago - service could've definitely been more attentive. As ive learned being in a hospitality major - clients get ansty if you dont let them know. If you do let them know, theyre more likely to work with you. Also, you need to describe your menu! Whats the difference between ninja chicken and samarai? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ we had to order to know! Atmosphere: taiwanese everything - music, food, staff members. Some will love the vibe, others may not. It's a hole in the wall type of shop with a little bit more space for lounging. Overall: I'd come back but maybe not when im in a pinch. The drinks from onezo are delish tho!
