“Great top shelf food and drink in an old house in the middle of nowhere. We tried this because we were referred to it by a family member. Otherwise we never would have found the place. Glad we did find it. It really is in the middle of nowhere. The dining areas are nothing special--you either eat in the bar or at a high top in the main dining room but ovrall the place has a sports bar atmosphere. Nothing fancy. The menu, however, is very high-end as are the drink selections. We had the ceasar salad for an appetizer and the steak tips. Ceasar was excellent and the tips perfectly cooked. Great portions. The Dunks mushrooms were fantastic. We even had dessert, the chimichunga. Excellent. Sevice was flawless. A little pricey but would definitely go back despite the drive (for us anyhow). Note to Management: Covid is over and even my teen children dislike reading the menu on their phones. Print some menus and laminate them if you must. Also, thank you for disclosing the "non-cash surcharge" on the chalkboard as you walk in but maybe 50% of your customers register that and maybe 50% of those even know what it means. I'm sure not everyone notices the surcharge on their bill and I'm also sure 100% of diners hate junk fees. Call it what it is--a credit card fee. Better still, just raise your prices 3% and do away with it and give a 3% cash discount. That would sound sooo much better...“

“If you are looking for frills with your meal, this isn't the place for you. This is more of a hole in wall spot where the locals tend to hang out and they only accept cash. With that said we walked in and were told to seat where we wanted. We grabbed a booth and we were asked if we wanted coffee. Sure we yelled back and the waitress showed up at our table with a coffee pot, the mugs were already on the table. So was the plastic ware (remember I said NO frills) and napkins, as well as the sugar and butter, she brought some creamer with her. During the week they have lunch specials, however they have reasonable prices and large portions. We each got the number 4, which came with 2 eggs any style, a meat choice, and toast. We also each ordered a muffin. If you made it this far, don't be surprised when your food comes out on styrofoam plates (I said NO FRILLS!), but the food was good, I liked the plum muffin that was heated up and I had lots of laughs just listening to Uda, as she is a straight shooter. I will say that the lady who recommended it called herself a foodie and this is NOT where a foodie would normally send someone as this is stuff that is simple but good with NO FRILLS but will get you full and not break your pockets. With that, if I'm ever back in the area, I'll be back!“

Not all beers are great but you can sample them and find something suitable. They quote competitive price's for the market, The're quick to deliver & very accommodating to the customer's needs. There customer service is on point, which has to be the best part of this company. I have spoken to the employee's and to the owner on several different occasions & always receive timely, honest responses. After speaking to them a few times, I quickly realized that they truly care about their community & their customers, which is very important and hard to find today. “Dined at Seaglass for first time to celebrate my daughter's birthday. There were six of us. I gave it 4 stars vs 3 based on atmosphere, views and experience. Restaurant was not full on Friday night so we sat by the window. Views of the ocean and waves even at night are amazing. Restaurant itself has a great vibe and nice lighting. Food and service were not as great. Good for an average restaurant but for a $500 bill, I'd expect a higher level of service and food quality. Service was somewhat slow and not as attentive as you'd expect, but server was friendly and doing her best. Our group had a range of entrees from lobster rolls to filet and baked haddock. Lobster rolls were excellent, as was the burger. Haddock was just OK and catch of the day was average. Entrees only come with 1-2 small sides, no salads. I'd visit again for the views of the ocean and recommend sticking with a more basic entree for the price.“

She was right there from beginning to end making sure we had enough water and drinks were full etc ! The kitchen helpers who assisted with the food delivery were fantastic ! They helped the waitress out perfectly! It was very busy as it was Easter ! The food was ordered, muscles. Sushi, which is excellent ! And steak tips and apple filled raviolis and a had a Caesar with chicken tips ! Calamari my son had was excellent ! There was not one thing to complain about. All the other guests around us were getting great service and their food was served very quickly I noticed! The Host and Hostess at the front door greeted us promptly and on our leaving were greeted and thanked for coming. Al I will say is , we will be back ! The new roof top deck looks awesome! “I have continually gone there with friends for lunch. We usually order the platter for one at lunchtime is plenty of food for two people I have done this at least 20 times. Nothing changes everything is perfect. We get the combination onion rings and french fries with it. It comes with haddock clams scallops shrimp just amazing wonderful seafood, the best on the North Shore. I've been going there since they open four years ago and I've never had anything bad. All their luncheon specials are really a deal , the seafood is fantastic clam chowder, perfect coleslaw, perfect and their steak tips and steaks are probably the best in the area. I give them five stars and would give them them more if I could.“

“The small burger chain, Lexie's, should not be missed. They have a handful of locations in Massachusetts and NH. The one in Newburyport is on the main drag and is easy to get to. The dining room is small but clean and bright with neat artwork on the walls. Piped in music was not too loud. The staff is friendly and engaging. Their burgers are just the right size, never too big and not too small. Delightfully messy and tasty! Their fries are perfect and can be ordered in a few different ways. Definitely stop for lunch or dinner!“

“We’ve been wanting to come here for quite a while. We unfortunately arrived a couple minutes after closing but were kindly let in. All the donuts we got were INCREDIBLE (even for at the end of the day). The sweetness level was perfect — not overpoweringly sweet like most places. I’ve tried local donut places all over New England and I can confidently say that these are the best I’ve ever had. My favorite was the strawberry frosted — the glaze tasted like ACTUAL strawberries. The maple bacon was such a fun flavor too! The hospitality of this place was phenomenal. I’m looking forward to coming again!!!“
