Mill 77 Brewing Brewery • $$
77 Elm St, Amesbury

“The beer is great, but the service and compassion is next level. My husband and I visited Mill 77 for the first time this afternoon with our 2 year old and 7 month old in tow. We ordered two beers and a couple dishes from the bbq pop-up. It was filled with families with children of all ages—always a good sign when you show up with littles. We’d been there for no more than 15 min and I was no more that two sips into my beer when the baby started vomiting forcefully. I’m not talking a little reflux. This could have been an adult amount of puke. I quickly whisked him out into the hall while he continued to leave a path of vomit trailing behind us.The Mill 77 team could not have been kinder. While my husband scrambled to pack up, the owner came to check in on me, brought me my still full beer and offered warm towels to help us clean up while his staff moped up our baby’s vomit. They sent us home with a four pack of their beer on the house because our experience was cut short. It is a special time in our lives to have these sweet little ones to love and care for but—as every parent knows—it is also taxing. It is a treat when we get to get out and enjoy an adult space and share a beer together. That they chose to gift us this beer so that we could continue our evening at home was incredibly kind. Truly, standing there holding my son, both of us covered in his vomit—I could have wept.I look forward to visiting Mill 77 again soon—to trying more of their beers and enjoying their family friendly atmosphere. My two year old will have fun running around their fenced-in outside space once the weather warms up.“

BareWolf Brewing Brewery • $$

“Great place to bring the family, dog friendly, friendly people and great brews! Lots to do, even the kids would love to be in this place. Went to see some live music, Cozy Throne was great and so was the other band I'm so sorry I didn't get their name. You can bring your own food, have it delivered or snack on the offerings they have. Will definitely be going back.“

Brewery Silvaticus Brewery • $$
9 Water St, Amesbury

“New Pale Ale might be the best I’ve ever had. Always come here for my preference for lagers and pilsners, but Silvaticus isn’t content to do the same thing forever. Great atmosphere (music is a little loud) and great beer. The addition of a real chef offering food is awesome!“

Four Pines Brewing Company Brewpubs • $$
845 Lafayette Rd, Hampton - 8.19 miles

“This used to be the brewery that was here before Tilton Bros. Supposedly, the state of NH shut them down and then the TBros took over. Then they shut down and 4 Pines was reincarnated.Hours of operation NEED to be fixed. I spoke with the bartender, and as I know, Sat is 5-12. Uncertain of the other days yet. Anyways, most of the beers are domestic with 3-4 of their beers on tap. Their Session IPA was pretty good (4.5/5). I didn't get any food so I'm considering food/drink the same per rating. I'd give a slighter higher rating but G doesn't do that for some d*** reason“

RiverWalk Brewing Co. Brewery • $
40 Parker St, Newburyport - 4.64 miles

“Cool place. Fast, friendly service. Pumpkin beer was really good! Food was tasty - the wings were AMAZING. They're beer braised, extremely tender and very flavorful. Pizza was just okay (sorry, I'm a New Yorker) but still enjoyable. My husband enjoyed the beer; he bought a four pack of Hit of Haze. Fun, local place! Worth a visit, for sure!“

Newburyport Brewing Company Brewery • $
4 New Pasture Rd, Newburyport - 4.33 miles

“There are several brewing operations within walking distance of the Newburyport MBTA commuter rail station, even if much of this is along roads without proper sidewalks. Still, when combined with a $10 weekend commuter rail pass, you can explore all these breweries in one day trip without worrying about driving afterwards, all while saving on the cost of gas. Newburyport Brewing is one of these breweries. It's located deep inside a dead-end road about a 20 minute walk from the train station - but there are at least 2 other brewing operations along the way. Once inside, you'll find a large, rustic, pub-like taproom with about a dozen draft brews on offer. There's also a large, sun-drenched beer garden outside. I tried a variety of brews via a flight when I stopped by: the Plum Island Belgian White wheat beer, Overboard NEIPA, Sandbar DIPA, Newberry Blue sour, and the toffee stout. A nice variety that showed that they can make clean, light, easily drinkable brews across a spectrum of styles - not to mention refreshing ones on a hot early summer day.Even though there was a steady stream of folks lining up at the bar, service was attentive, efficient, and detail-oriented. When I stopped by, it was particularly busy because there was a solid live band. If I remember correctly, they had some snacks available for purchase, but if you want something more substantial to help you soak up the booze, you can either bring your own food or order delivery. All in all, a lively, social venue in an otherwise quiet commercial corridor of Newburyport with plenty of brews to make it worth your while in getting here.“

Smuttynose Brewing Co. - Tasting Bar & Retail Brewery • $$
105 Towle Farm Rd, Hampton - 7.12 miles

“Stopped at the restaurant tonight. FANTASTIC. All aspects. Kelly our server was very attentive and kind. Our food was delicious and fast. Original lager was crisp and clean and "really old brown dog" was delicious with a nice chocolate finish. Pleasant atmosphere. Clean. Not too noisy. My daughters were both exceptionally impressed. My 8yo gave the poutine the chefs kiss. Definitely recommend. Will be back.“
