Backbeat Brewing Company Brewery • $$
31A Park St, Beverly

“Charming local brewery opposite the commuter rail, serving a healthy variety of casked beers and ales. Keep in mind that cask beers are naturally carbonated, and this can sometimes be perceived as flat by people who aren't used to drinking them. You're not going to get the sharp sting of carbonation on your first few sips, but it has a unique style all of its own. My own personal preference is that darker beers work better with the cask system but again that's just personal preference. Really loved the outside patio!“

Notch Brewery & Tap Room - Salem Brewery • $$
283R Derby St, Salem - 2.73 miles

“Notch is everything you could want out of a brewery: excellent beer, delicious small bites, and plenty of space.Their beer is mostly German. I believe I had the afternoon Pils which was tasty and easy drinking. The service is incredibly friendly. At one point one of the gentleman walked past and ask if I wanted another beer when he saw it was empty. I've never had that happen at a brewery before. The food was excellent. I initially got the pretzel and my girlfriend got the pretzel bites. If I could've done it over, I would've just gotten the bites. The dip that it comes with was cheezy and it had bits of butter and I would come all the way back to Salem just for some more of that. We'll absolutely be back.“

When it came to the day of, he made sure the event went off seamlessly and our guests had an amazing time. All of the vendors we worked with remarked at how amazing Tim and True North were to work with.Even a few weeks later when we needed his help he went out of his way to assist us on related item to the event. He didn't have to, but he was happy to do it. True North has an ace up their sleeve with Tim. Book your future events at the brewery!“

Bent Water Brewing Company Brewery • $
180 Commercial St #18, Lynn - 8.06 miles

“Now, I normally do NOT like any IPA's but I was at the packie yesterday getting some lagers like the regular beer guy I am and someone who works for this company overheard me saying I hate IPA's and gave me that Sluice Juice IPA tall boy and I gotta say this is the first time I've ever enjoyed an IPA and the Lager you folks make is also very good. I didn't even touch my Sam Adams last night cause the fella gave me a few beers to try. I am now gonna buy the local brand from now on! I will still enjoy a Sammys but at the pub from now on, my fridge is gonna have Bent Water in it. #SupportLocal“

East Regiment Beer Company Brewery • $$
30 Church St #B1, Salem - 2.59 miles

“Great beer and bites from the attached restaurant. Was visiting Salem for the day and decided to pop in here after seeing the reviews. The bartender was super nice and helpful when I couldn't decide. They also explained that the food and drinks are separate. After I ordered a beer I ordered some food at the next counter. I went with the Double IPA which was pretty good. For food we got skewers and the spring rolls. Both were so good!I'd come again whenever I'm in Salem.“
