One of the best pizza shops I've been to in a long time! After our first UMass game we were looking for pizza and decided to stop in and try this place!! The whole family fell in love and we kept talking about next time we got to come back after the game!!! Went to another game today unfortunately UMass lost but we got the same quality food we got the last time!!! As my brother said whatever they're doing back there they better keep doing it cuz it tastes amazing!! Cheese pizza barbecue wings and french fries well worth the money! Some days we get pizza and throw it out this pizza you want more as you leave!

Our first visit we ordered a family size pizza with onions, pepper and mushroom. It came exactly the way we ordered and was absolutely amazing.and everything was freshly made to order! So the next time we ordered a large pizza with peppers, mushrooms and onions, and two large chicken cutlet parmesan subs once again everything was amazing! So happy we found this place and can't wait to try maybe an eggplant parmesan sub next time!!!!Karol

This is a large & a small roast beef grinder. I would definitely NOT get a large grinder ever again. And I asked for NO tomato & it came w tomatoes. Fries are great.

10 Stars for Athena’s Pizza on University Drive, Amherst, Massachusetts! We have two family members with Gluten and wheat allergies, and we order their gluten-free pizzas of any flavor, and they’re wonderful, and we never get sick! The owner and his family are very careful, and they will change their gloves when you ask them, and make your food away from where the wheat and gluten flour pizzas are made. The chef salads have the most wonderful fresh, clean romaine lettuce, and other vegetables, and the deli meats are always fresh and wonderful! The menu is marked gluten free for lots of their pizza flavors! How wonderful to have a pizza restaurant in Amherst, where we can go as a family and enjoy their delicious, gluten free food items. I would give this place a 0 stars if I could. Today I came in with my service dog and my family of 6 +1 ($70 order) I was immediately approached by a man stating “ you cannot have dog in restaurant you must leave “ without hesitation and in a rude manner.He starred me down as I placed my $16 dollar lasagna oil soup (see picture) immediately after order I ended up leaving with my service dog and waited for the worst dinner of day.If it wasn’t for my kids being hungry and this the only place open, I would not have ordered their mediocre tasting food.NOT SERVICE ANIMAL FRIENDLY!

Once a month our church hosts a potluck and I useto order pizza from Big Y. Big Y had the rudest customer service after a yelling match with Big Y I just ordered from Athenas and they had the same size order done in less than 30min. I didn't have to order ahead 2hr for a pizza Athenas was great never going back

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Athena’s Pizza in Amherst, and I must say it was an absolute delight. The pizza I had was hands down the most delicious pizza I've had in a long time. Every bite was a burst of flavor and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the combination of toppings was simply mouthwatering.Aside from the incredible taste, the service was top-notch. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and made sure that I had a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere of the place was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family.I highly recommend Athena’s Pizza to anyone who appreciates outstanding pizza.
