Having just returned from a trip to Costa Rica a week ago, I was missing that flavor. Located in the Cowls District in North Amherst, Cisco's satisfied my cravings! I had the Tipica 503 and my wife had the breakfast burrito with homemade tomatada salsa. Both were outstanding! I texted my travel companions immediately to let them know about this place. The burrito was plentiful, and topped with cheese. The 503 plate of eggs, chourica, beans, avocado, toast, and FRIED PLANTAINS was delightful! Everything came out hot and you can tell the food is fresh. As this is on our route from home to NH, we will be coming regularly this summer!

Don’t go here. We waited for 30 minutes for our food to come out and it never came. Meanwhile other guests were getting their own water and no one was being served. Everyone wanted to know where the food was but nothing was coming out of the kitchen.

I do not recommend this place if you are looking for authentic hispanic food. Although the venue itself is really nice, very modern and welcoming, the food does not compensate likewise. I got birria tacos, and let's just say they are the worst I have had! They were not made authentically and the taco shell was very bland and fell apart very easily. The horchata is not authentically either, they make it with a powder & still giving them a chance, I tried it but was disappointed. The order of plantain was expensive for those there little plantains. Overall, would not recommend and would not be coming back here. Across from my friends and I, there was a man whose order was not put in the system. He was there before we got there, but never got his food after waiting for half an hour. He was so frustrated he left when they informed him that his order never went through, and that he would have to wait more time. The service could use some work.

Overall, we enjoyed the food and would come back. More details: We ordered the kids pancakes, French toast, omelete and burrito. Everything tasted really good and fresh, even down to the chocolate chips in the kids pancakes. Service was fast and attentive. My one issue is the up charges. It’s $2 to add a small amount of syrup. I get that it’s good, local syrup but still. I am fine with charging for extra syrup but there should at least be a little included. There was also a small fee to add cheese into an omelette…

I had really high hopes for Cisco's Cafe after reading the reviews and seeing their menu but after my visit I left completely disappointed and starving. I ordered the Tipico 503 and side of home fries and hollandaise. The restaurant was empty with only one other table but our food came out cold after waiting 20 minutes. The small slice of avocado that came with the meal was covered in black splotches, the beans tasted off and the home fries and hollandaise were not even cold, but chilled as if they'd never been hot. Nothing on the plate was edible and nobody came to check on the table until one of the servers just plopped the check down. When the check came, I was double charged for the side of Hollandaise and had to flag down someone to help (in an empty restaurant) in order to get the bill fixed. Maybe I went on a bad day but I will not be returning.

The food is so good and it's unique in the area. I've gone repeatedly. It's a regular spot for me

Waited 50 minutes in a half-empty restaurant for an eggs Benedict, the hollandaise of which was the consistency of warm cottage cheese. Can’t believe the kitchen actually sent it, first and last time for us no questions asked.

Food was ok, my friend and I waited about an hour for our food after ordering. We ended up having to take our food to go because it took so long.

Great food. Lovely servers. My favorite is the veggie scramble. But the papusa are good too.

Very slow, inattentive service on a Sunday. Got the pupusas which were kind of mealy and didn't taste like much. Not very pleasant atmosphere in this new construction building either.
