I love their sushi specially “smoked salmon avocado “. They give you a complimentary Miso soup even with take out orders which is great ? but fried rice was not so good to me ?

Lovely interior and very quick staff. All entrees came with a side salad and a side miso soup as an appetizer. Both were great and justified meal prices. Worth a try if you are in the mood for Japanese food and around Amherst.? Chicken Donbori Katsu: 8.7/10 hearty and yummy! (≈$18)? Spicy Salmon Roll: 7.5/10 solid but nothing special (≈$6)? Salmon Donbori Bowl: 8/10 solid (≈$16)? Tofu Yaki Udon: 9/10 delicious tofu! (≈$16)

We always have a great meal there. Their menu is fairly extensive along with a sushi menu. The service is good and the staff is friendly. Their dining room is large with a separate room for larger groups. My only complain is they close on Sundays. But they are definitely worth a visit.

Delicious food and always friendly and helpful staff. Have always gone toward the Japanese items on the menu, but am anxious to try their bulgogi next.

Outstanding Asian dishes, especially the sushi. I've been here three times and enjoy it more each time. Nice selection to satisfy various types of Asian food connoisseurs from the timid to the bold. There's a reason it is one of my brother's faves, and why he takes us there each time we visit. Delicious!

A mom 'n' pop Korean & Japanese restaurant with a peaceful ambience and caring servers! Devoured the Korean seafood pancake appetizer-- crispy and fragrant, full of delicate veggies and fresh calamari, imitation crab, so good--plus the salmon and crab donburi which arrived in a steaming pot; the Las Vegas rolls which are deep fried-- so delicious!-- and the 20-piece sashimi. Needless to say, everything was succulent and fresh; nothing disappointed us. The server kept refilling the peach iced tea. Definitely worth a visit while you're in Amherst, Massachusetts, especially if you love Korean and Japanese food. It's conveniently located across the quaint and charming Black Walnut Inn whose bed 'n' breakfast I also highly recommend!

Delicious! First time I had eaten here and did takeout - chicken Yaki Udon was very good, along with the Egg Roll (came with 5), and Gyoza - I chose 2 for spiciness for the udon and was perfect! Will definitely order here again

First visit (35$ish, including tip bc I dont remember the exact break down):Wow.The app korean fried chicken was so crispy and tasty, it was perfectly cooked. 9/10, needs a hint of spice to take it up a level. The jjampong noodles, holy cow, I looked at it and was already ready for a quality bite. Then it hit me, there was a surprise smokiness to it that blew my mind. I got it 5/5 spicy and enjoyed every bite from meat to noodle to veggies. Undeniably a 10/10The sushi we got was lack luster in comparison to the other amazing choices. But that may be because it had cream cheese and I didn't know that's not what I enjoy in sushi. 4/10 (heavily biased so I wouldn't consider this grade to be valid myself)Service: the waitresses were fast, attentive, and kind. And our food came out timely with quality. It's family owned I believe so go and give it a try.I went with my gf (she's Korean and approves of the food too, but above are my opinions).Second visit (50$, not including tip):Ordered the Korean Fried chicken again. Im moving that from a 9/10 to a 9.5/10 out of the consistency of the dish. Again it delivered, just like the first time and was so good.Had the Jjampong seafood noodles again. 10/10, although the smokey surprise factor wasn't there for me since this was the second time I was having it. It was still consistent, good portions, tasty, and perfectly spicy for me at 5/5 spiciness.Crunch roll sushi was well made standard sushi. In contrast to the my first visits sushi I much prefer this one. 7.5/10, I have no suggestions to offer. Just a standard good honest sushi to compliment a meal if you want a bit more.Korean seafood pancake was crispy and tasty, needs a little more shrimp, but enjoyable 8/10.Service 10/10, no variance.Above are my opinions only.Took my friend for the first time and my gf again in this second visit and he agrees with me and my gf this is the best place we've been to thus far in our 3 years of on-campus university in amherst, for both the food and the experience.Keep up the standard. I'm a fan.IN RETROSPECT I AWARD AN EXTRA STAR FOR BEING LOCAL. SO 6 our of 5 stars !!!
