Amazing place full of clean food! What a refreshing blessing, a much needed break from all the gmo, pesticide ridden factory farmed choices at all other other restaurants. People who complain about prices at organic restaurants: it's going over your heads. We must use our money to scale the food system back to a healthy thriving system that nourished and heals the people. Organic is the answer!!!

This student business gets four stars for serving Dean's Beans alone. So much better than the coffee you can get in Campus Center... I haven't even tried the baked goods yet, although they smell great. Beautiful, open, sunny storefront. Cons: The cookies are ENORMOUS--tbh it's probably a major plus to most people. I'm not seeing much variety in offerings, but I may be overlooking something. (I'm really reaching for cons here.) Final takeaway: Best cup of coffee on campus. I'll update when I get to try the bagels!

In the several samples of the food I've had here, it is terrible in both food and service with understaffed, disgruntled workers (I don't blame them). Students come for the convenience, although I think if you were to trek even a little further you'd save time and find a greater value at a (much much better) dining hall than waiting in these terrible lines during the lunch rush. Everything I've had has been overpriced, not filling, and tasteless. If a local could enlighten me, I'd love to hear the secrets of the (why is it "blue"????) wall.

So many memories here as a student then a few after the complete renovation. Now it no longer looks like a regular school cafeteria with a bunch of different rooms. Instead it's all connected with various modern colorful seats, bright lights and real silver/flatware. I can confirm the food is 100% the SAME, but SMALLER portions and higher price tag. (Constantly rising year over year. Where's the value in that? ) If you're a student with the YCMP option then it's already built into the cost of whatever you paid and there's a slight discount. The upside is the convenient location right in Campus Center and the amount of options. You have your standard sandwiches, Thai Curry, Pho, Sushi, Gelato, Salads, Tacos/Burritos and more. These are outside vendors who have their brand label and materials. Keep in mind the people working here are students trying so the quality of service leaves much to be desired. Just recently a friend and I ordered the Green Curry Chicken and the proportion of rice compared to the actual curry and chicken was saddening. The rice itself was another story it looked like it had been sitting in the rice cooker for at least a day. Stiff and dry. The overall taste was about the same. I think we just weren't used to better back then, but even food truck food at the same price point of ~$9 was much better quality. This is not reflective of the actual campus dining halls, which are "Ivy League" dining award winners top ranked!

I love People's! All the workers are so wonderful, the bagels are yummy, and the money cycles back into the community. What's not to like?

Would rate 1 million stars if I could because everyone needs the people's market in their lives. It's a market by the people, of the people (real cool people), and for the people.

Regarding The Deli... Go here if you want to get sick/food poisoning. Watched a lady making sandwiches stop what she was doing, walk away and start talking to somebody not from kitchen, shake his hand with her gloves on, handle some paperwork on a clipboard, and then walk back to her station and continue making sandwiches. Twice. Without EVER changing gloves. GONNA GET SOMEBODY SICK. Called her out and she got pissed.

Their coffee is the best coffee you'll find on campus.

You literally cannot go wrong with stopping here on the way to class or any other time you're on campus

Ever since the renovation, this place has gotten much better. This is a food court like place where you have the option of going to different vendors, all of whom offer different types of cuisines. Staff is nice at each one for the most part and food is pretty good. Good for a quick bite in between classes.

This is based on Deli Delish. Pre sliced, fatty, grey colored, roast beef. The description on the UMass website states, "the freshest, most sustainable ingredients, and house roasted turkey and roast beef." I actually returned the sandwich, opting for a safer option, a BLT. When I showed them how disgusting the beef was, the person said, "That's how we do our roast beef."When I bit into the BLT, they had put yellow American cheese on it...hahaha. Never heard of cheese on a BLT. About a half hour later, I honestly felt sick. Had diarrhea the rest of the day. Coincidence? Maybe.

THIS PLACE IS TERIBBLE. "The Grill" is comprised of complete idiots. They constantly forget orders and just stand around cracking jokes while a massive line of pissed off, hungry, paying students wait and watch them act like 6 year olds. It's pathetic, this place is a joke. I speak only for the grill section, but don't doubt the rest of the place is WEAK!
