We visited the Commonwealth Restaurant located in Worcester Commons at UMass Amherst. Literally don't know how this place isn't packed every night. With the convenient location, upscale decor and reasonable prices, this spot would have been my dream place to take my parents during my undergrad. The new spring menu is amazing. I was impressed with this dining hub at UMass Amherst. We also ate free because we were the family of a student. They had every kind of food you could want, served buffet style. There was everything from Chinese, Indian, Middle Eastern, Italian, American style, salads and etc. It was very good and I recommend it. There was plenty of seating. Check it out.

My family ate at the Commonwealth Restaurant above the Worcester Dining Hall the evening before graduation. Everything from appetizers to dessert were absolutely delicious!! The menu had a variety of choices and the ambiance was simple but elegant. The staff were on top of everything and made us feel very welcome. I wish we had a chance before graduation to have tried this wonderful restaurant. It is not very large so I suggest making reservations.
