“The aesthetics of this restaurant is amazing. I loved the decor, the low-setting of the lights makes it very romantic. Although the place is very kid friendly, family oriented. They have nice lights at the table so if you’re going on a date night or to celebrate an occasion it makes it a great place ! I was celebrating my birthday, and I must say my husband surprised me with this one. The food was amazing. So fresh and well seasoned. From the sweet taste of the calamari to the nice juicy sauce in the bucatini. I highly recommend. The drinks were even great, strong but tasteful. Shoutout to our amazing waitress Ramla. My partner and I got bicol express, plantains, and halo halo - TASTE: 4/5 - enjoyed the hint of spicy peppers in this bicol express. The plantains weren't at their peak ripeness, but still a good sweetness. Have always loved ube ice cream and the various sweets in halo halo TEXTURE: 4/5 - tasty & fatty pork belly in the bicol express. Plantains were cut thicker than I like, so not as crispy unfortunately. “This is what a diner should be. Friendly staff and the chef's are happy. You can tell the food is made with love. I happened to be close, so I figured I would give it a try. I'm happy I did. I had an english muffin with bacon, egg, and cheese. The home fries are very good. They leave the skin on, which makes them extra tasty. I will definitely be back.“

It was easy to locate in Whole Foods, placed toward the front of the store by the kitchen and bakery area. I ordered ahead using the website and it was all ready when I arrived. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was! I would highly recommend PLNT Burger to anyone looking for a quick vegetarian or vegan meal. “We had heard the great reputation of this restaurant so we finally tried it, after our go-to Chinese restaurant in Brockton went down hill. We did take-out and got Pad Thai and Tofu Curry. Both were incredible and we will be back to get these items again and try new things also, as the menu is extensive and delicious-sounding. Servings were perfectly sized, everything was super fresh and the flavors were memorable. I actually can't wait to get the Tofu Curry again and my spouse said the Pad Thai was the best we've gotten in the area. Ordering was easy by phone, pick-up was easy, and they made two new customers.“

“I tried the Venus Cafe for the first time today for takeout. I ordered a green pepper onion and mushroom pizza. I got there early and got it as soon as he popped it into the box, so there was no time for it to steam in the box. I usually have my dog with me, so that's why I get take-out a lot. A little bit of flop at the beginning due to it being piping hot and loaded with toppings. Tasted great, and the price was good. This place is one of the goats of this style of pizza, ssbp. The only complaint is that they use sliced toppings, not chopped. And that's just a personal preference due to years of thinking I took a clean bite of pizza, and then a chunk of blistering topping comes with it and tags me on the chin. Lol. I went to the takeout side and dealt directly with the cook, and he was very nice. I have no clue about the bar area, but friendly kitchen staff speaks volumes for a place. I'm slowly trying all the places that do this style of pizza in the area, and this one did not disappoint.“

“I've been meaning to write this review for sometime, because Lisa and her staff absolutely deserve their flowers. We have used Tex's BBQ express for our annual staff cookouts for years. When we send out the invitation one of the first questions that are asked is "are we getting food from Tex's?" The staff are so polite, accommodating, and easy to work with. I am excited to use them each year for annual outings, but their food is so delicious and they make me want to host parties of my own with them on the grill. CANNOT recommend highly enough“

There was a wait when we arrived Sat late morning but once seated overall wait on food wasn't terrible considering how busy they were!“

“The bagels at this place were great. I had two types of bagels, one just with cream cheese and the other as a bacon and egg sandwich. Both were very good. The place was a little small but there were a lot of tables. It was very crowded but that was expected as it’s a very popular place. There was a line when we got there but it moved quickly. Staff was very pleasant. Pricing was excellent, I’ve paid more for sub-par fast food.“

“The food is good. I've been here twice so far. It's a little small and the last time we were there they were having a private party in the restaurant. So it was very crowded. They are kid friendly, but I dont recommend taking children under the age of 4. It's too crowded and they don't have a changing table in the bathroom which was difficult when I had to change my daughter. I got the chicken saltimboca, which I thought was very good. My fiance got the special which was vinegar peppers pork chop. The pork was undercooked and they give you 2 slices of peppers. They would have cooked it more but it was so busy he didn't ask so he didn't eat it. If he had sent it back to be cooked more he would have enjoyed it. The waitress was so nice! They have a lot of patience! This place is perfect for a couple or a group of adults but I would leave the little ones at home (with a babysitter, obviously). The only downside is the parking. They do have a very small lot but again, when they're busy, it's hard to find parking. Even street parking.Kid-friendliness: Like I mentioned in my review. They do accommodate kids. But there is no changing station in the bathrooms and it's very crowded. You're close to the tables around you, which makes it hard to get through the restaurant carrying a toddler and a diaper bag without accidentally bumping someone.“

“We had a wonderful time at Barrell Z House this past Saturday. Our bartender, dressed in Germany garb for Oktoberfest, was so friendly and helpful. We had our little dog Ella with us and was made to feel welcome. Our bartender even brought us a fresh bowl of water for her. We got some delicious sirloin sliders for us and doggie biscuits with PB for Ella from the food truck. My husband and I enjoyed the IPA. We tasted two different types, one more fruity and aroma, the other more hoppy. We’re hop heads and both agreed that the more hoppy one was our fav! They have a nice, shady outdoor area with Adirondack chairs, a great space to soak up the beer and sunshine these early fall days.“
