“This place was recommended to me by a close friend to try, so I made a point to drop by today, and I'm extremely glad I made that choice.Oftentimes when I have a wrap, I usually don't think much of it, it doesn't remind me of what I've had in Paris or in Montreal, referring to the Shawarma trucks. When I came inside, I asked the gentleman behind the counter what is a popular recommendation, what meat choice is fresh and so forth. The chicken shawarma was recommended, as a wrap, that wasn't my first choice I was thinking in my head but I wanted to go with what they were suggesting, and I'm glad that I did. They told me that it would be pretty garlicky and if I was okay with that, and optionally there are onions that he would add too, and I said give me everything.I added a side of hummus as well, which came with pita bread, as I usually like to try people's hummus when I can.I sat down, small cafe like environment, with some great looking hand-painted murals of Aleppo and Armenia, which I did learn it was by local artist which made me really excited. Lunch time, weekday, not crowded, got lucky on the parking.I first got my hummus served first, it was a delight, and I specially love the thin pita bread, that was tender and fresh not hard like a old piece of sunbaked cardboard. While sipping my diet coke, I got lost in the painting in front of me which was a village in armenia, completely mesmerizing in terms of energy.Moments later my wrap was served, and I was excited, because it wasn't the big hard pita bread wrap that I often times see here in the east coast, at least in the Greater Boston area, and it was tightly wrapped, what I mean is it was condensed and tight, not loose and airy, as those loose and airy wraps I often times get falls apart in my hands and pretty much it's a poor eating experience. And I'm glad I got the onions, it's pretty much my first rap that I've eaten here in the Greater Boston area that really sung a wonderful song in my heart, from a foodie to a foodie, this isn't your regular chicken shawarma wrap. It actually didn't remind me of what I usually think of chicken from would taste like, which oftentimes carry the traditional American trappings of iceberg lettuce, and common and mundane ingredients. This had ingredients that I am not natively familiar with, I don't know if it's sumac or a mysterious sauce I haven't tried yet but the onions and the other vegetable like ingredients which I should have paid attention to, a very bright contrasting backdrop against the chicken, which was amazing in its own right, although I'm not a chicken guy, the whole collective eating experience was new to me at least here in america. And dare I say, unlike a meat wrap with veggies that oftentimes boring wraps are, this had the feeling of a medicinal quality, and a feeling of the food temperatures like hot and colds, that often times European cultures in folk, as well as Chinese cultures. Exciting ingredient play that works off of each other that were both sublime, with a deceptive front pallet attack. The garlic oil which the gentleman described was, simply a lot of garlic, really is yet another level of wrap of the whole food experience.tldr; an exciting gem of a place in which my wrap experience superseded anything I've had here in New England thus far.Vegetarian options: They had a lot of other vegetable options, not sure about vegan, but I'm sure you're familiar with what those might be such as falafel, and vegetable wraps, I believe there are also salads too, not to diminish the vegetarian world's experience.“

“I'm south Asian and always in search for yummy Desi food. Unfortunately I don't think Boston has a very good selection of indian/Pakistani/bengali food at all. But Spice Delight is different and I'm so happy they opened right down the road. Authentic flavor and actually spicy when you want it. Plus the staff is so warm and always greets you with friendly smiles. Highly recommend! Fav dishes include Aloo Gobi and Chicken Kadhai“

“Gen sushi is our go-to neighborhood sushi joint. They provide high quality sushi with notably larger pieces of fish than competing restaurants in the area. We particularly enjoy the way they prepare nigiri! They have friendly and welcoming staff and we appreciate their early opening time of 4 PM.“

“We were a party of four and a baby and we enjoyed this restaurant so much. We were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's ability to accommodate a vegetarian, a gluten-free person and a non-soup eater who loves spicy foods -we absolutely loved the broth that we ordered a vegetarian mushroom soup with lots of flavor and depth, and the other one was a for chili peppers spicy broth, which I forgot the name of. The combo was delicious with the vegetables and the meat and the shrimp even loved the mango smoothie, there's nothing about this meal. I didn't love my husband who is eater was eating the spicy soup like there's no tomorrow the service was exceptional. I wish I remember the name of our waiter, but he was super accommodating and pointed out the glutenous items to us and was able to, keep on top of the service. Highly recommended in every single way.“

“Mimi was a great server! She went above and beyond to deliver us our dessert in a to-go box while we were waiting outside for our Uber when we ended up leaving before it came out (ended up being some sort of mix up with the kitchen and we had to leave to catch our ride but she was the real MVP because the profiteroles were amazing!!)“

“This is a conveniently located bar with very good bar food. Located across from the Back Bay Amtrak and T station, excellent pizza for two is a specialty. TV's for sports watching. Terrific welcome and service. Overpriced drinks are the only negative. We would definitely return. Not fine dining but worth the trip.“

“I update my review: the carbonara pasta is spectacular although it may seem offensive that it has a fried egg on top. We ordered the pasta WITHOUT brussel sprouts. Some dishes on the menu have changed.Exquisite gnochettis and pizza. We ate very well. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We will repeat without a doubt. The only bad thing is the small terrace facing the road has a lot of traffic noise...“

“This review for the donuts. Omg I’ve had donuts in so many states across the country and Brassica’s is by far the best. The flavors are so well executed, unique and complex on the palate. The guava crème fraiche might be my current favorite, but the passion fruit is a close second. If you don’t have a sweet tooth like me, these donuts will really do it for you because they don’t use a traditional sugar glaze like literally every other donut shop. They’re fluffy yeast donuts with a glaze that’s more the consistency of jam and icing. 10/10 run don’t walk.“

“As a sales rep, I’ve taken clients out to the best of the best steakhouses in NYC. Delfriscos, Wolfgang’s, Sparks, Ruth’s Chris, and beyond. Jeremy at the bar was ridiculous. Put up with my stupid Dad jokes, and delivered on all levels.Bro, if you’re reading this. - OPEN YOUR OWN BAR.I ordered the Porcini rubbed Rib Eye here at the Capital Grille Boston. It was SICK. UNREAL. Best steak I’ve ever had.A full fun bustling bar. Everything you’d want for a fun night out.Go. Order whatever. You won’t be disappointed.“

“I have a very simple ask, and it's that a coffee place can make a good vanilla latte (you'd be surprised how many places can't). 3LF has consistently good coffee, tasty baked goods, and friendly baristas. Only complaint is that the sweet potato spice cake is only available a few times a year!“

“Found this spot in a company visit 3 years ago, and it is a MUST visit whenever I am in Boston! The variety of chefs who provide dishes to the menu is a guarantee for something special. This trip it was a fresh lobster roll with a cup of tomato bisque. OMG it was SO so good!“

“So many food options and a lot of space so you can find room to sit even in relatively packed times. Certain restaurants are overpriced but can still find good eats. The parking deck is clutch - if you validate it it's $10 for 3 hrs which is great for that location.“

“I walked in at 7pm on a busy night (Celtics and Red Sox games). Staff took our order while we were in line and were very communicative about when we would get a table. The food still took some time despite the earlier ordering. My friends got the Tom Yum soup and loved it . I got the Tofu Pad Sew Ew and it was some of the best I've had in Boston. The are not stingy with vegetables, which I appreciated. Only dinged because it was nearly impossible to have access to our wait staff during the meal due to the business. A lot of tables were sitting for longer than needed while waiting on checks. Overall, you can't beat the price and quality of food; definitely will be coming back next time I am near Haymarket.“

“We hadn't planned on dining here, but I'm so glad we did. The ramen far exceeded our expectations, especially considering its location near campus. I had anticipated overpriced, mediocre food with subpar service, but I was pleasantly surprised. The ramen was rich in flavor and truly satisfying. The real standout was the exceptional service we received from Bryanna. She was incredibly patient and attentive with our group of seven, ensuring we had everything we needed. Thank you, Bryanna, for your outstanding hospitality. Your warm and accommodating service made our experience truly enjoyable. We greatly appreciate it.“

“Wife and I had some tests to do at the nearby hospital and decided to get some food and beat traffic. What a gem. Food was fantastic, drinks were stellar. I also want to shout out Andrew who was slinging drinks and great vibes. He helped us with menu items and amazing drink recommendations. I haven’t had this great of Thai food since living in Los Angeles. Great spot, I’ll recommend it to friends, and will most certainly be back. Thanks Andrew and the entire squad!“

“I kid you not - one of the best breads I've had in a while. There's a reason why people wait in line for this place. (Don't worry the lines aren't too long and go pretty quickly). I bought some croissants and a Demi baguette - it was foolish of me to think I'd wait till I was home to eat the baguette! Worth the visit and can't wait till I'm back! Also can't wait to try the coffee bar next door...“

“We put our names on the waitlist as a walk-in at the bar and were told the wait would be between 1 hour and 1.5 hours. Next thing we know we’re getting a call after 45 minutes! The restaurant is small inside, a bit crowded, packed with everyone else who saw the NY Times article. The food was high quality and creative. Pasta dishes were somewhat small but this is expected with the traditional Italian format of the menu. The service was exceptionally attentive as well. Their selection of rare Italian Amari is another thing of note - I will be back!“

“First timer but won't be my last. Ambiance was cool. This particular Sunday was quiet...just a few patrons. Small but super cute. Service was great. Very attentive and polite. The menu selection was a little limited but we made do. Not your typical brunch but still had the big players like pancakes and a breakfast that consisted of eggs, pancake and home fries. When the plates came out we were a bit surprised at the amount of food but it was the “perfect” amount. We left satisfied.“

“We ate in the North End of Boston at many different restaurants throughout the year. Any restaurant served amazing food. Tresca is really stands out among the many best. Highly recommend lobster stuffed mushrooms, carpaccio, and homemade lobster ravioli. Service is exceptional. We want to particularly acknowledge Fernando for his professional and pleasant service. Manager of the restaurant is attentive and pleasant. We received a complimentary tiramisu for our anniversary dinner. Definitely we will be back. Thank you.“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“

Also, the manager (David) stopped by our table several times. The fact that he took the time to do so sets this restaurant apart from others. Oh, and the food was delicious! “A gorgeous restaurant in the heart of Belmont Center. The restored firehouse building is absolutely stunning inside and out and suites the vibe of Il Casale perfectly. The food is good. It's authentic Italian. It's changed over the years. It may have been better in the early years, but it's still good. The service has been pretty darned good over the years, but upon last visit, 03/27/24, I was simply amazed at the kindness, which started at the front door with the host. Everyone was kind, genuine, confident, and knowledgeable.“
