There was no hostess and only one waitress for a for a busy Saturday night. I had made a reservation in advance before our show at the theater for a party of five including 3 kids. some guy clearly not a waitstaff member, or a hostess said too bad, said he is seating. Only first come first serve. Long story short, we got a table eventually as I had no idea where else to go and I had the kids. Service was very slow. Only one waitress. It was not a pleasant experience. The food was cold and not very good. I don't blame the waitress at all. She did her best, but was overwhelmed. We still gave her a 20% but that's it. I had avoid this establishment due to staffing issues.

I took my Mother there for Italian food, which over the years was fairly reliable with menu options, value & quality of food. This visit was terribly disappointing on almost every level and we won't return again. We both ordered Eggplant Parmesan & one side Caesar Salad. The Eggplant Parm was covered with a scant amount of Marinara Sauce and overflowed on the plate. Unfortunately it was undercooked, difficult to cut through & rubbery. We both struggled to eat a few bites & took the leftovers home hoping to resuscitate the eggplant. Bottom line is the Beverly Bertucci's was 3/4 empty at 7pm on a Saturday night, atmosphere felt like yesteryear depressing, and Service was choppy. We regret our choice to dine there.

I gave service one star, not due to the server, she was wonderful, but due to the fact that we waited almost ten minutes to be seated when the restaurant was practically empty. There was no one around to seat us. While we were eating a couple of people arrived, waited for at least ten minutes to be seated, and when no one helped them, they left.

Two stars because the pizza and rolls are still really good, even if you have to wait forever to get them. Unfortunately, though, it's been taking longer and longer for our food to be ready. As any fellow parent can attest, when you've got hungry kids waiting for the food to arrive -- and you decided on takeout in the first place because it's a busy day so you're hoping to pick up something quick and good that'll get everyone fed before having to rush headlong into the bedtime routine -- this is a deal-breaker.Sorry Bertucci's, you've got to work on your staffing. I can't blame the employees in the store, as they're clearly trying their best given the situation, so I can only assume that the management of this chain isn't doing enough to attract people to want to work there. PLEASE don't punish the employees for the horrible situation in-store, with a constant flow of disgruntled people waiting 30-60 minutes past the promised pick-up time for their food. I always try to extend kindness and patience to them... because it's very rarely the fault of the customer-facing employees when there is a failure this egregious. All that being said, I won't be returning here until I start to see reviews mentioning an improvement in wait times and service. Beverly has enough other excellent options for pizza -- where I can depend on my food being ready at the promised time -- that we can easily spare ourselves the stress of frayed nerves that inevitably results from the meaninglessness of Bertucci's ridiculously unpredictable pickup times. We can simply bring our business elsewhere.(Management: Thank you so much for your reply! I do appreciate your willingness to share this feedback. Again, I just want to be clear that the food was good, and the staff were not unfriendly or unhelpful... it just creates a very difficult situation for my family when pickup times are meaningless and we could likely be waiting an additional hour for food.)

I may never order from this establishment no more. Bertucci's has always been one of my favorite places to go whenever I'm in the mood for a simple meal such as a salad with pizza. I ordered a take-out meal yesterday the salad was wilted and the pizza tasted not so good.

DISORGANIZED MESS!!!! I ordered a pepperoni pizza. It arrived with nothing on it. I tried to call the restaurant to get it replaced or refunded but nobody picked up. I called way before the restaurant was scheduled to close. I was on hold for 35 minutes. Then the restaurant closed so nobody took my call. I'm also an Uber and GrubHub driver. This restaurant NEVER has orders ready for scheduled pickup times. It always makes customers wait for an extra 30 to 45 minutes to get their food. This place is always understaffed and disorganized. I will NEVER order from or go to this restaurant again. Unfortunately, I still have to pick up at this s*** show when working.

I tried calling for 20 minutes to order and no one picked up the phone. I came down to order and there was no host with 15 people waiting to be sat. No one came over to the check out counter for at least 5 minutes. The man was rude and just pointed at me and yelled "name". The parties waiting just left because no one came to greet them. I've never seen a restaurant ran this way. I'll never come here again

The food was a dumpster fire at best. I felt bad for our waiter as he was the only one serving everyone in the restaurant. Step up the quality of food, and get more help.

Stopped here with the kids because we were starving. My grandpa walked in first to get a table while we grabbed the kids out of the car and the hostess made my grandfather grab the high chair himself. Our waitress was fine, I felt bad for her considering she was serving half the tables in the restaurant. The worst part was, we were sat in a booth right next to where the pizza is cooked and the cooks were yelling at each other about how much they make and swearing the entire time we were there. It was very unprofessional especially since the restaurant was not full so you could hear every word they were saying. The food was alright, but considering what behavior was allowed from the staff, we will probably never come again.

We were never seated. There weren't many people seated but they were obviously short staffed. Waited for about 10 minutes and asked someone at the take out spot and he said to wait at host station. Waited another 10 minutes and still nothing. Finally asked server and she said she didn't know. Waited a bit longer and then finally left. I sympathize with them not being able to seat us due to staffing but someone letting us know or even a sign posted at the host station would have been appreciated.

After making a reservation on OpenTable because there were 7 of us, we arrived and they seemed surprised that we were there. The host, who I am not sure if he was the manager, never welcomed us but just looked at us and we were not even sure if he worked there-that's how awkward it was. After being seated, we ordered drinks, which took over 15 minutes to be served. We ordered food and it was nice that they asked if we wanted to be served all at the same time but I think this caused a problem with the food because the chicken wings weren't warm, the salad was wilted, and the tortellini was toasted on the bottom of the dish making it hard to eat. The service was so slow that we had to go say something about being served faster because we were headed to a show at NSMT. It was a pricy night for not having exceptional service and the food was just ok. We are hoping our next visit will be better!

Showed up to check in and waited several minutes. When finally addressed by a clearly annoyed man we explained that we had a reservation and he became even more disgruntled telling us that they don't take reservations and he'd get back to us. Several minutes later a server came and sat us at a table. One server for the entire restaurant as far as we could tell. He did his best, but we then watched our food sit waiting to be picked up and brought to the table for quite some time. Also, once it was brought out we never saw him again until the check was delivered.

My food was sitting in window for a good 5 min. No one at front desk to get it. The pizza was supposed to have the meat on one side and just cheese on other side. They put it all over! The edges of crust were burnt black and bottom was covered in burnt dust. They must not be cleaning their oven! Pasta was mediocre! Not worth the money! Keep driving! I'm sure they will see this and say how sorry they are! They should be giving refunds! Out of towers beware!
