For years I was always under the impression that this was Beverly's worst Chinese food restaurant. The lobby is dingy and outdated blah blah blah. Well I was wrong. My husband was in charge of ordering take out one night and our usual place wasn't answering their phone. In frustration he called China Wok. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious and actually better than our usual go to. Don't judge a book by its cover. The food was delicious

The food is always good. They get it ready quickly, usually 15 minutes. It’s good and hot. The prices are very good.

Food is usually pretty good, although beef dishes are VERY light on the meat. I recommend getting chicken or vegetable. My go-to for Chinese takeout, good prices for the area.

Excellent Egg Rolls. Outstanding Huge Crab Rangoon. Great Chicken Fingers. Nice Jumbo Shrimp. Tasty Beef and Chicken Teriyaki. Fried rice is good. Delivery is on time.

food is always great. this last time delivery guy was a bit rude and muttered under his breath which seemed unnecessary since I came down to the street to meet him so he didn't have to climb two sets of stairs and he was already tipped. didn't help he was in front of the wrong address. not upset, just confused.

Waited over an hour for delivery, North Beverly to Beverly Square! Food cold, lo mein tasteless, chicken wings pathetically small & dry/chewy (?microwaved), pork so overcooked & old-not chewable. Maybe a bad FRIDAY NIGHT for them...Sorry to be so critical but the food was awful!! First & last time I'll order from them! My dog wouldn't eat their food!

This old standby rivals some of the more upscale establishments preparing Chinese-American cuisine. I have been eating here on and off for about 5 years. The prices just increased, but here are my favorites: Shrimp and veg (xtra garlic), steamed chicken and shrimp with vegetables, beef teriyaki, spare ribs, scallion pancakes, Singapore rice noodles, house soup. I love that they have various sauces for the steamed dishes (white, brown, general gau). They are fast, clean and never have had any problems with their food either takeout or delivery. Try them out!

The food was good. The owner had a very terrible argument with an employee in the Cantonese language. It made me and my friend not to go there anymore, because of our impressions that there would be arguments again with the owner and the employees. The owner should have apologized and he never did when he should have for courtesy. The owner is very rude and he had no right to have arguments in front of customers. Very awful.
