The food is fine. It's probably better than you can reasonably expect for the cost. I was particularly impressed by the shrimp in my burrito bowl, and I know one of my friends was particularly impressed by the quality of the beans. The storefront is a hole in the wall in an area that is not really geared toward restaurants, so you can't expect much in the way of ambience. Food was decent. But the atmosphere is very cold. And the music is so loud that you can’t speak to the person you came with. The cashier loudly sang along but we couldn’t even speak to each other.Wheelchair accessibility: Door is not very wide. Would struggle with a wheelchair.

Elevated casual taqueria experience with solid food.Chilacates expanded aggressively throughout the city last year, and this West End location was one of them.
