“The drinks are good; however the space really needs some help. There are over 12 tables in a tiny space, packed against the high top tables, and this makes the space feel SO packed and uninviting. Really need someone to think about the design of this space and it would be 100x better. Maybe a communal table and then some small tables. Just some small tweaks would be a huge difference for this actually to feel like a good meeting spot.“

“Probably the best espresso I've had in the city so far. I ordered a shot of a current specialty espresso, which was absolutely excellent (barista was very helpful in explaining options and picking which one), as well as 2 seasonal lattes, which had the best latte art I've seen in Boston. Also the vibes inside are perfect to hang out for a little while warming up and enjoying a drink or two. Excellent excellent excellent.“

Public Market, 100 Hanover St, Boston

“I don't drink coffee. I know my coffee drinking friends say this coffee is really good.I do enjoy tea and the tea place in the Boston public market closed at the beginning of 2024 and my favorite London fog in the city of Boston (they are very few options but this was the best) is now no longer available. these guys are trying to pick up the slack.I've tried two so far, the first one was made with chai tea and that's not correct or how I like it. I drank half of it toss the wrist. however with this experience the next time I asked to be sure to have the Earl Gray tea and the girl informed me that's how it's supposed to be made!SUCCESS.THIS IS NOW THE BEST LONDON FOG IN BOSTON...as of February 2024.“

“Recreo is truly special. I don’t visit nearly as often as I’d like due to my work schedule, but every time I do it’s a highlight in my day. Recreo is known as West Roxbury’s living room and it’s easy to see why. The owners Hector and Miriam have created a welcoming space for all to stop in and connect over coffee from the family farm in Nicaragua. Truly from farm to your cup! The barista team is friendly, knowledgeable and committed to making top quality hand crafted beverages. My favorite is a whole milk latte with an extra shot. I usually enjoy a mixed berry scone or mini blueberry loaf with it. Baked goods are made locally and are always fresh and tasty. There’s also a great selection beans for sale (freshly roasted on site). Eden has given me great suggestions on what to try at home for cold brew!“

“My younger brother, who lives in Paris, likes this cafe, so he often buys coffee in Cambridge and receives recommendations for coffee beans. We visited together and I realized why they come all the way here! I had a mocha latte, and it was the most delicious mocha latte I've ever had - and the bread was really delicious too. In fact, more than anything, it was the friendliest restaurant I've ever been to in all of Boston and Cambridge. It was a healing day thanks to the staff with such pretty smiles. Thank you??“

“I went here with my partner for a pickup order and my review is based off that experience.I really enjoy this cafe! We ordered the French toast and omelette for our food and the salted caramel latte and expresso for our drinks! The food was delicious and I felt for the price, the portions were good. The drinks were great as well and not too sweet! We did pick up so we didn’t dine in but we did wait inside. I really liked the ambiance of the cafe, it felt quaint and homey. I really enjoyed the background Brazilian music. It’s a bit small and tends to fill up quickly so something to keep in mind if you’re looking to dine in.The servers were all friendly and professional. One thing I love is that on our takeout boxes, they write cute little messages which made our day.If you’re looking for breakfast food, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to you!“

Nespresso Boutique Bloomingdales Chestnut Hill Coffee • $$
225 Boylston St, Chestnut Hill

“Conveniently or inconveniently(?) located inside Bloomingdale’s.The staff are helpful and patient. Some of the customers are rude and pushy — so all the more reason to applaud the staff, except they are poor at addressing people to move. Furthermore, customers that have made a decision are at the mercy of those in line still making decisions and requests. This is perplexing. Especially for a decisive person. This adds to the annoyance factor. As well, the sampling/tasting area should be at the other end of the counter to relieve congestion. What is not obvious is the service queue and how to line up. This results in disgruntled and confused customers. To alleviate this problem, set up stanchion poles with ropes and signs that say, “line forms here,” or, “…enter here for service.”Just a suggestion ;-) I dare the manager to respond. I will go to another location next time!“
