I’ve been a Flames customer since it first opened a couple of decades ago. I typically order the oxtail or salt fish and okra and always takeout, which brings me to my biggest gripe with the restaurant. The styrofoam clamshell containers that invariably leak badly are inadequate for carrying out their saucy dishes. It’s long time that they be retired and replaced with plastic containers that can seal tightly.

I bought a ox tail plate and a jerk chicken plate it was horrible! To mich bonet pepper, to much gravy master what a let down when u want a carribean meal. The rice and peas was not cooked, it was hard as a rock! What a shame! The jerk chicken was overcooked! Providence Flames has the best dishes hands down. Dont waste your money. Your better off making it yourself.

The service at this place was unpleasant. They exaggerated by charging me 8 shrimp ? for 12.99. I will never return here again in my life. Apart from the fact that the food is cold, the employees have bad attitudes. I The women who serve this place are ordinary, they have no education, they treat people like someone comes to ask them. feel that this was a robbery by charging me almost 13 dollars for a little shrimp and another thing when you ask them what they want different meats or seafood on your plate they want to tell you how to eat and what to put on your plate I didn't come to order I came to buy so 0 star ⭐️ for this place
