Amazing food. We had breakfast sandwich and avacado toast. Server was nice and very helpful. Plenty of seats but always busy. I would highly recommend this place

I usually don't have a problem with flour bakery usually My go to meal of choice is the breakfast egg sandwich. But today the sandwich was overall salty than normal and the bacon was burnet. Not sure if it is face I took Out the tomato made it more salty. But I'll stay clear this place for the time being

For the prices especially, this is abysmal. Roast beef sandwich had rancid smelling meat with a horrible soggy texture. I couldn’t even get down the wet “focaccia” on its own without gagging. Croissant was very stale. Quiche tasted okay but the crust was burnt at the edge and SOGGY everywhere else. With the addition of a tiny juice for $6, that was $34 down the drain. Don’t go.

I love the people here; they carry a friendly, honest, warm attitude as flavorful as the pastries that are baked here. I have gotten a large oat milk latte and four pastries that are recommended by the staff. The latte was perfectly heated to combat the current Boston cold winds. The pastries were all not overpowering! I loved how light they were and how nicely they can be paired with a latte. (1) Blueberry muffin (2) Ham and cheese croissant (3) Cinnamon bun - a classic (4) Sugar Brioche bun I went to this inspired by my previous lab PI introducing the breakfast sandwich with light mayonnaise. The egg is so soft. I love the location and atmosphere of the cafe that is suitable for delightful conversations and studying with headphones.

My love for flour dates back well over a decade from when one of my best friends was in grad school in Boston. Their quality, consistency, and friendliness has never wavered in that time. This, folks, is how a chain should be run.

After leaving my initial review, one of the managers, An-Chi, contacted me to apologize for my experience and rectify the situation. She really went above and beyond and to me, that really meant a lot that this business strives to provide a great experience for each customer. And for that (and the yummy food), I will return back to this location whenever I'm in the area!

Nice servers (which isn't always the case in Boston), nice place, fantastic scone. The extra dry cappuccino was good. I'll be back and may have more info. Looked like some tasty and healthy stuff as well.

Something being done RIGHT! Everytime I visit Boston, I go to this Cafe. Why? They are efficient, order taking is a breeze, the service is always on spot, friendly and the atmosphere and ambiance is so welcoming and comfortable. Plenty of sitting and music trendy and at the right volume. Love this place.

It's crowded, but they have a good variety of cakes, muffins, desserts, and drinks. I loved their Carmel pecan roll. Nobody makes those anymore. It felt like an upscale neighborhood coffee shop. I prefer something a little quieter, but I could tell it's a place locals frequent. Always a good sign.

TLDR: Classic bakery + cafe with really delicious sandwiches and excellent pastries all at a super reasonable price (but maybe because I'm used to SF prices). Not a TON of seating so beware during lunch time, but at other times you should probably be able to nab a seat or two. Get the BLT, Mushroom melt, Banana Bread, and of course, the sticky bun here. FOOD: 1. BLT (5/5): Classic, delicious BLT. Large size and super filling. Can't go wrong with this one. 2. Mushroom melt (5/5): Actually not a strong mushroom flavor -- the melted cheese they use is probably the star of the show as well as the warm, textured sourdough. The addition of the mushroom does give this sandwich a deep flavor profile like an umami bomb. Unlike anything else I've had, you should really try it if you like these flavors. 3. Banana Bread (5/5): A really excellent, thick slice of banana bread that's not too sweet. It's on the denser side and is perfectly moist. Highly recommend. 4. sticky Bun (5/5): What they're known for. Was sold out by 2 pm on a Sunday when I came but I've had it so many time before that I'd highly recommend you try it. It is REALLY sticky though so be ready. SERVICE: You order at the register and then take a number to where you're sitting. They bring your food to you and you can get yourself water from a water station near the door. Utensils are also there for you to grab. Overall really nice people. ENVIRONMENT: Mostly high top seating and then communal seating at a big table (with a few smaller tables in the back). Lots of people are sitting here doing work but I personally didn't see a ton of outlets so just note that in case your laptop doesn't last a long time without charge.

What can I say that hasn't already been said about Flour Bakery? Let me try... Consistently quality products are what this place is about whether it's breakfast or lunch you can't go wrong. Think raspberry pop tarts, the best banana bread in the city, and don't even get me started about the sticky buns! Lunch options include fresh creative Sammy's and salads with Uber fresh ingredients. Always busy but very prompt and friendly staff will take good care of you.
