Galleria Umberto Reviews
It matches the hype. The Sicilian Pizza is…perfect. There’s not enough superlatives to do it justice and if there were, even then it wouldn’t reach hyperbole. Craziest thing of it all is the pricing. Four slices, arancini, and a drink for $16.00? How? In today’s economy how are they keeping the price this low? Also amazing. Just go. Don’t think about it, don’t pass go, don’t collect $200…go get your dang perfect slice.
Great Italian food. Felt like I was back in Italy eating Street Food. Amazing Quick, Cheap and delicious!
There only place I go to when i'm in Town

Galleria Umberto is a popular lunch spot in the North End, celebrated for its simple and tasty Sicilian pizza, as well as its arancini and panzarotti. This restaurant has been a staple in the neighborhood for many years and is a must-visit for locals and tourists alike. The prices are unbeatable, with a generous lunch costing around $10. Galleria Umberto is cash-only and has limited hours, but the quality of food makes it well worth a visit. The staff are friendly and focused, and the food is consistently good, with the arancini and panzarotti being highlights. The arancini is a ball of risotto rice stuffed with ground beef, tomato sauce, peas, and cheese, then breaded and deep fried, while the panzarotti is a ball of mashed potatoes stuffed with cheese, also breaded and deep fried. Both offer an amazing experience. The restaurant has an old-school Italian atmosphere, making it a great place for a casual, delicious, and affordable meal. Lines can be long, so visitors should be ready to order quickly.
