Granary Tavern Reviews
Ive been here a couple times, my friend hadn’t been before. It was nice out so we opted to sit on the patio. Daniela P, our server was very attentive when taking our drink order but that wasn’t the case for the rest of the time we were there. Shortly after getting our drinks, we ordered an appetizer (popcorn shrimp). About 20 or so minutes later, we ordered our meals (lobster rolls)… I watched others meals and apps come out but no popcorn shrimp and tho the server passed...read full review
It was ok, there are many other restaurants that are better within a short distance, but it wasn’t terrible.
Food was overcook and under seasoned, and our server never came to check in on us. Sides were missing, and we had to chase them down ourselves since he never came back except to drop the check.
Overall I would skip this place the next time I’m in Boston.

Granary Tavern is a convenient spot in Boston, perfect for lunch or drinks with friends. With lots of seating inside and outdoor seating overlooking the greenway, it offers an average menu including market-priced lobster, salads, and sandwiches. The Nashville Hot chicken sandwich is recommended, just make sure to ask for extra spice if you like it hot. The atmosphere is lively but has a unique vibe, with downstairs seating available as well. The French dip and homemade potato chips are tasty choices, while the fish and coleslaw are also enjoyable. The garlic knots are highly recommended for their great taste and texture. Enjoying a strawberry basil margarita or a Stella during visits adds to the experience. Service is generally good, though one reviewer noted it could have been better. Sophia was wonder-full and suggested delishious choices from the food and drink menu. The Shrimp Tacos were tasty, light and just right! The half rack of well seasoned ribs along with sweet potatoes fries and the drinks Blueberry Mojito and Granary Spritzer were sublime! Guests often appreciate the peaceful outdoor dining area. Overall, Granary Tavern provides a nice place to relax and enjoy a tasty meal or drink, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors.
