We made a reservation for 3 on a Fri night ~ server was super annoyed we only had 3 and not 4 people. Apps came out way too fast ( maybe 5 min after ordering which tells me it wasn't fresh!). Food was barely ok. Super super rushed service and left a generous 15% tip (I normally tip 25% but the service was terrible). The waiter actually had the NERVE to ask me if my math was right. 1st and last time for us and we're in Boston a ton.

On a Saturday night, had a reservation for 7:45 and we're not seated till 8:20. I've never had this experience at other Boston restaurants. They seated other parties with later reservations prior to us, I think based on where they stood in line. The lack of organization for a restaurant at this cost level was quite disappointing, especially because there was no awareness of this and no apology whatsoever for the wait was given.The food was not bad. However, my squash ravioli was lukewarm by the time I received it (and was cold while eating) while my boyfriend's food was very hot. After waiting so long to eat, this added to the disappointing experience. Do want to say that our waiter was polite and there was no issue with his service.Would not come back again.

Food is fine. We tried the butternut squash ravioli, gnocchi bolognese and the burrata but everything felt like it was missing something, like it was all lack luster. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The food felt very under seasoned and the ravioli was under cooked as well. The restroom was also extremely dirty.

Really enjoyed our dinner and time at Panza's. The veal picatta was perfect! The staff was extra understanding of our late to arrive person when the "T" had issues, they were friendly, professional and we all enjoyed our excellent dinners!!

The food was very ok and if that's all you're looking for you may like this place. The service left much to be desired. We felt rushed from the second we sat down and were only seated 30 minutes before they started asking if we needed boxes and if we were ready for the check. The waiters were very aggressive about taking our plates away, we had to tell them no we are still working on it 3+ times in the span of 10 minutes. I totally understand wanting to turn tables over for people waiting but we were only there an hour from the time we walked in the door to the time we walked out. Just not the dining experience I was hoping for tonight.

Writing this review while standing outside in the freezing cold, unseated, an hour after my reservation. I’m waiting with several other groups, all of which also had reservations and have been waiting for an hour. I know this because we’ve all had SO much time to bond and learn each other’s life stories which, while delightful, is not what I planned for the evening. Speaking of planning, this place really can’t seem to manage. This is the second time I’ve been here, and the restaurant has taken 30-60 minutes to seat us both times. I get that on a weekend at a small place, things get busy, but this is a persistent issue that this place has made 0 effort to fix! I can’t understand why people keep coming back -the food is indistinguishable from every other restaurant in the North End and I don’t plan to come back just to wait in the cold or the rain. Do not come here if you are hungry and actually want to eat.

Food quantities are good. Flavors are good. But there is quality problems: the fried chicken in my chicken Panza was hard, probably because it was cooked before and then simply reheated and mixed with the food. My wife's saucey gnocchi was tasty but she had her stomach upset after eating it. Again I think there are meat issues.

Writing this review on my 40th minute standing cramped in the doorway against random strangers when we were supposed to be seated that many minutes ago. No hostess, and a waitress dealing with many unaccounted for reservations. Disappointed with the service, but hopefully food changes our opinion!

wine selection and appetizers were stellar. This is good Italian food.on a Saturday night though, we waited an hour to sit and we had a reservation. That could have been managed better. we understand Saturday night is busy.... but a reservation should mean something.on the entrees, the "free form lasagna" was no where near a lasagna dish, it was not feeling home made, and could easily have been standard stuff at Olive Garden. pasta used was way too chewy aand thick. The dish overall was lacking flavor. interesting, but disappointed in that one dish.Mark my words, as an Italian i will judge a menu, a chef, a restaurant on their most basic dish: Lasagna.you have to nail that to get italian food lovers coming back.Panza, good stuff. keep working. This meal did not quite lock in 5 stars but i would give it a second try.

We had a 7 pm reservation , did not get seated until 8. We had to wait in a crowded entrance hallway. I came here with my 3 friends, we are under 21. The waitress did not seem pleased we were unable to buy alcohol to increase the bill / ? increase her tip. Overall, would not come back. Food was okay.
