Great staff, well organized. Have been here for a packed shows and lighter nights and the staff is always on point and do their best to keep it running smoothly. Fair drink prices and great audio. I feel safe here.
Some of the most lenient staff in Boston. Great for metal shows where attendees wanna get drunk and mosh cause they won't kick you out unless you're impressively belligerent. Drink prices are less bad than many other places, about $9/beer. Loses a star for less than perfect acoustics and the view restricting support beams.

Overall a solid music venue but certainly could be better. Their booking team does a good job at bringing in a lot of diverse, mid-sized acts. The giant columns and overall layout of the venue can make it difficult to see sometimes, but I guess this is part of "the history". Security and staff are usually pretty chill, but I have definitely experienced the unfriendly and unnecessary hassle (guess it depends on who's working). They don't do paper/hard tickets at the box office...read full review
