“Bistro du Midi is a great place for French traditional cuisine with a twist. The menu is well curated with a few standard dishes of seafood and French entrees, and a seasonal tasting menu you can also choose individual dishes from. We really enjoyed the Halibut, the beet gnocchi and the passion fruit soufflé (which is definitely worth the 15 minute wait). The service was a bit bizarre, waiters kept rushing us to finish our food which you wouldn’t expect paying 100+ per person and a rather late table (there was no one coming after us). Atmosphere is decent, downstairs and outside is definitely the better pick if you get to choose.Overall, would go again because ingredient quality is great and maybe we just got unlucky with the waiters.“

Right from the start, they made us feel welcomed and accommodated us with ease, despite the size of our group. They had a great little back corner of the bar set aside for us, we were treated to chips, salsa, and guacamole, which set the tone for the amazing meal to come. The cucumber salsa was a standout, offering a refreshing and unique twist that had everyone at the table raving. It's not something you find just anywhere, and it's a must-try for anyone visiting Monument. And let's talk about the chicken sliders – they were absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked and flavored to perfection, these sliders were a hit among our group, capturing the essence of what makes Monument's menu so special.Overall, the combination of friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and delectable dishes makes Monument a top-notch dining destination in Charlestown. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, enjoying the light music and the buzz of conversation. The service was very attentive to our every need. For dinner, I ordered the saltimbocca, which was veal wrapped in prosciutto, served with maitake mushrooms and truffle whipped potatoes. It was cooked to perfection and super tender, but I couldn't help thinking that the portion could've been a bit more generous, given the price. My date went for the Mafaldine, a pasta dish with shiitake and oyster mushrooms, black truffle butter, and Parmigiano. She couldn't stop raving about how amazing the mushrooms were and how this dish easily became one of her favorites. No doubt, I'll be heading back to Sorellina for more. Our meal began with the zucchini chips, which were nothing short of exquisite. They struck the perfect balance between soft and crunchy, resulting in a mouthwatering bite every time. The tzatziki dipping sauce was equally fantastic. For our main course, we ordered two servings of the lamb meatballs with a side of rice. The flavors were absolutely sensational, although I must say, the portions were a bit on the small side, particularly given the price. Nonetheless, the overall experience was everything I hoped for, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.“

“The desert, campfire brownies, was merely good. That was the ONLY quibble of the evening. Ambiance? Impeccably glamorous, down to the textured walls, but still a bit cheeky and fun due to the speakeasy style entrance. Cocktails? Complex, interesting, and strong - Bijou, SVD, Espresso Martini, and Irish Coffee were all on point. Service? Attentive without being overbearing, team service at it's best. Steaks? Both the Ribeye and NY strip were perfectly cooked and meltingly delicious, enhanced by the herbed butter served on top and the house demiglace. Bone marrow? Just perfect, the onion jam is the right counterpoint to its richness. Mac and Cheese? On point. Bread and butter? The butter... how do they make something as simple as seasoned whipped butter this magical... who cares, they just do, just eat it. It's not a cheap dinner but isn't at all overpriced for what it is. This place is a gem, you should make a reservation today.“

“Dinner at a place like No. 9 Park is more of a total experience than a meal. Your whole night will be thoughtfully considered- delivered through a very personal level of service. The wine list is extensive and the servers and sommelier have always offered bangers, even given constraints on preference and cost. My wife and I are plant based eaters, but we are treated as 1st class citizens by a restaurant that could easily give us the cold shoulder. When dining on the tasting menu, you will be presented with dish after dish of well prepared items that are as beautiful to look at as they are appetizing to eat. Seasonal options will be on offer, so be sure to keep an eye out- such as the fresh black truffle upgrade- and the ambience of a cozy-but-elegant side room with a view of the park will only enhance the meal. No. 9 Park is holding the candle in terms of fine French style dining experiences in Boston, so if you're looking for that kind of energy, this is your spot.“

They provide relatively fast service, making it a great option if you're on a tight schedule and need to return to work within an hour. “I love the experience of getting into a place using secrets and hidden clues. It does take a little while before getting inside, but would definitely recommend getting a reservation. Once you get inside, it’s a really cool area. The drinks that we ordered was sweetly delicious and the ambiance was my favorite part.“

“Stopped in for a quick beer before a meeting at The Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts. The bar is the same as I remember from 40 plus years ago. Iconic is the best description. Great service, cheap and cold beer. I wish I could have stayed. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.“

“If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, safe, and FUN to go highly recommend. Awesome food and drinks ($5 sandwiches during happy hour!), lovely outdoor patio dining, and there are still games available to play sanitized between people! So happy to come back here again and get the same great service.“

“The atmosphere is very cozy and tight knit, with the good lighting and comically large selection of beers this place is awesome for anyone wanting to sit down and have a pint. Met a cool regular my first time in and he recommended me and my buddy try the steak bomb, non-frozen chicken tenders, and one of the burgers. We did just that. As a southern man, fried chicken runs in me veins. The chicken here nearly made me shed tears. Probably some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. Got the double barbecue bacon burger, easily top four or top three burgers I’ve eaten. The steak bomb is delicious too. The portions are large considering the price. I grant the title of southern certified ™ eatin’s.“

“Still delicious bar food and great service. The chowder here is better than legal's, just my honest opinion. The delmonico steak was delicious with fries and a salad and my son absolutely loved his nachos. Still a good food & bar place in the community with an old school Boston feel“

“I stopped by Boston for a conference and just happened to find out this place across my air B&B. I order a pancake platter and meatballs. I love it! And the servers are really nice too. Katlyn and Matthias are welcoming me starting from the first minute I step into the property! I hope I will have a chance to comeback revisit it again.“
