Tasty coffee, friendly service, and delicious bagel. What more can you ask for out of your morning? The everything bagel with garlic and scallion cream cheese hits the spot. Perfectly toasted, generous amount of cream cheese.
I got a "classic lox" sesame bagel sandwich to-go, as well as a couple of plain bagels for later. The bagels are definitely very delicious. The lox sandwich had a generous layer of plain cream cheese with lox, tomato, red & white onions, and capers. I kinda wish there maybe should be some greens (arugula? I love pavement’s bagels so much. They are the only place in Boston that I know of with a vegan cream cheese. Both the veggie tofu spread and the Diablo are delicious! It’s pricey, but it’s a nice weekend treat. Newbury location gets so busy on the weekends, and I find the fellow customers to be a bit rude, but it’s still worth the pre-shopping treat!
