I've been going to this location for the I've been coming here for the last 5 years since Moving back to Boston from Washington DC . This place has been going on shambles for about a year now, from service to the way they make their sandwiches that barely have anything in them. Today I went there and tried to order my usual sub, or, as Potbelly calls them, sandwiches. Today I wanted a chicken salad sub, and the lady kept asking me if I wanted a salad. Kept telling her no a chicken salad sub. A coworker who came in and corrected me then said we don't make subs, we make sandwiches. I'll give her that. But my point is that they have someone who doesn't understand English very well and taking your order, so if you make the mistake of calling a sandwich a sub, chances she might understand and think you want a salad. another lady who seems to be pregnant sitting down, then tells me you can leave the doors right there... I feel bad for this place. Time will tell. I will not be going back to this place ever again. I'll start going to Al Cafe for sandwiches now or going to another location, even though this is less than a mile from me. I'm highly upset... every one buy the lady making sandwiches We're sitting down so no one have the patience to just take over what the lady didn't understand to make it easier for the customer... When I used to be in this industry even if the customer was wrong I always had the customers right attitude....

still waiting on a refund upper management is horrible, clearly doesn't care for their guest if I could give 0 stars for how bad they have neglected paying me back I would.

Poor service. First time here, I didn't know they don't even ask before they run the sandwich through the toaster if you want it toasted, so when they did that I told the lady I didn't want mines toasted so they obviously had to make it again. Then they start talking in Spanish the entire time. I thought that was completely rude!

I'm used to Potbelly from my time in the Midwest - as they started in Chicago and eventually expanded outwards. This Potbelly location is located on the ground floor of a major downtown office building (One Federal), it has its own sidewalk entrance separate from the main building lobby. Once inside, it feels like any other Potbelly shop - with the overall formula largely unchanged over the last two decades: rustic décor, tables, and booths, with pieces of local flair scattered throughout. The menu is the same too. My go-tos are usually the Wreck, the Pizza Melt, or the Chicken Club. If you've done a double cardio session as part of your workout, you might want to reward yourself with one of their shakes - the Oreo is my all-time favorite. All shakes come with a cute little cookie circling the straw. Edited: nothing about my experience was bad. Sandwich shops are a dime a dozen these days, and although not all of them are worthy of 5 stars, at least the hot sandwiches here are still dependable as always. Brings me back to my grad school days in the Midwest.

I’ve eaten here twice and gotten sick both times within 4 hours

Got my sandwich! Looks like half of its missing.... If the sandwich is this mini it's totally not worth it. It's about 4-4.5in long and 2.5in wide...

When this place first opened in Braintree the subs were fresh and hot and excellent... I don't know what happened but the cold cuts were slimy last time I ate them and the sandwich was disgusting. Need to hire new staff and better management.

Awful customer service. Absolutely dumbfounded that the “manager” Jennifer would ever be put in a position of leadership. Displayed a complete lack of respect for customers and care for her position, would never return to an establishment run as poorly as this one.
