I think this is probably the best steak and cheese in Boston. I appreciate how old school and authentic this place is. Good value too. My advice is call in your order ahead. I have only had the steak and cheese - with perfection why mix it up? But I am sure other things are great too

Haven't been to this place in years but, boy sm I glad I did. Got a steak onion and cheese sub at 8 AM, because I could order that at what would be other shops " Breakfast only" time. Nice soft roll ,steak NOT chopped to oblivious gravel like other shops. This spot IS the spot for a steak and cheese . I'm gonna go back and try all the ol standards again done right. Kudos.
