“We had an incredible experience at Grill 23 & Bar — easily the best steakhouse we’ve been to in Boston. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. We ordered both the filet mignon and the ribeye, and each steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The sides were just as memorable — the macaroni and cheese was rich and comforting, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. Adding the Béarnaise sauce on the side was absolutely worth it and paired beautifully with the steaks. Dessert was the perfect ending: warm chocolate chip cookies served with vanilla ice cream — simple, classic, and done flawlessly. A huge highlight of the evening was our waiter, Bernardo. We will absolutely be requesting him on future visits. He offered thoughtful suggestions, anticipated our needs effortlessly, and somehow managed to be there exactly when we needed him — and never when we didn’t, if that makes sense. Just genuinely attentive, professional, and welcoming service that elevated the entire experience. An unforgettable dinner all around. We can’t wait to come back.“

“Hands down one of the best steakhouses in Boston. The service was amazing from start to finish, really friendly and on point. The smoky steak tartare was absolutely incredible—full of flavor and unlike anything I’ve had before. I also highly recommend the Wagyu cap, it’s totally worth it. The sides were just as good, especially the lobster mac & cheese and the wedge salad. Everything came together for a seriously great meal.“

“Wonderful evening in this gorgeous restaurant. Our family of four was seated in a comfortable booth by a window. Our server Zak was intuitive and passionate about his craft. He perfectly balanced our need for high end service while leaving us to enjoy our meal. He was delightful with our two boys.

The food was exceptional. We especially loved the hamachi appetizer, onion rings, roasted carrots and filet. Our wine was decanted by Zak without us even requesting it which elevated our experience. The warm cookies were a perfect ending.

We will definitely return to Moo Seaport.

It would nice to have some ambient music playing. Also, sad to see so many disheveled patrons and guys wearing baseball hats but such are the times.“

“We were celebrating our 16th anniversary and my retirement, and wanted to do it up right! We picked the right place for it. Coming in from Cape Cod, for a concert at Fenway we had reservations for Abe and Louie’s, but there were 2 at the bar so they let us sit there instead of our table. Our bartenders were great. To our surprise, Bree almost immediately said “Happy Anniversary!” And our drink order was taken. Michelle made a spicy margarita with a nice kick and a heavy glass, and a soda. Then we ordered shrimp cocktail which were brought out in mere moments. The shrimp were huge and cold and crunchy- perfect! We took our time and were not rushed to order our meal, but once we did, with Kendal, she asked all the right questions, offered to split our salad in the kitchen, and made some great recommendations. I wanted my Filet with their wedge salad as my entree and was told no problem. Our meal, my huge filet and my man’s ribeye were both cooked as requested and his suggested garlic whipped potatoes were creamy and yummy! The food was all out of this world, but what made the dining a true experience was the tango these three women danced around each other, each knowing what the other was doing and exactly what their patrons wanted. You can get a great filet many places but I pay for the service and we both felt like we were treated like royalty. Thank you Bree, Kendal and Michelle for making our anniversary and my retirement a true celebration!!“

“I thought Capri was going to be another overhyped restaurant that put too much effort in the decor and not enough on the food - and am I glad to be wrong.

I won’t spend too much time in the space itself, it’s gorgeous, it’s what everyone raves about - the real star is the food.

On paper, nothing sounds too groundbreaking but in practice - all of it kinda blew me away. The garlic bread was incredible, emphasis on the GARLIC. Whole cloves of garlic baked into the bread then topped with fried garlic. The bolognese was another great surprise - I loved that the meat was braised instead of minced. Then the Strawberry Rhubarb Crostada might be one of the best desserts I ever had. Everything had so much flavor.

Lastly, free validated parking. Truly a myth to have parking at any Boston restaurant.“

“Stopped by Davios on my way out of logan. Food was pretty good. Had the burger which was very filling if you're hungry. The bartender Diego was awesome! Friendly knowledgeable and hilarious. I'll be stopping in again and again just for the great service!“

“Me and my wife come here (the school st Boston location) every year for our anniversary and this year was no different. During this visit we had the pleasure of being waited on by Amy. She was extremely friendly, personable and attentive. As always this location is on point with atmosphere, attentive staff and amazing food.“

“The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. My steak came out a bit overcooked, but the server handled it immediately and kindly replaced it with the doneness we originally requested without any hesitation. The manager also came over to check on us in a very polite and respectful way, which made us feel well taken care of.

There was only a small disappointment during our experience. When I made the reservation, I mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, and I was really looking forward to it. I had seen that other guests received a complimentary dessert with an anniversary message, so I was hoping for the same and was even planning to take some photos to remember the moment.

Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any anniversary acknowledgment or dessert, which left me a little disappointed. At the time, the restaurant was not busy at all—there were only three tables including ours—so it felt a bit more noticeable. If it had been a busy night, I would completely understand.

That said, overall it was still a very enjoyable dining experience, and we appreciated the excellent service and hospitality from the team.🤗“
