“We had an incredible experience at Grill 23 & Bar — easily the best steakhouse we’ve been to in Boston. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. We ordered both the filet mignon and the ribeye, and each steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The sides were just as memorable — the macaroni and cheese was rich and comforting, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. Adding the Béarnaise sauce on the side was absolutely worth it and paired beautifully with the steaks. Dessert was the perfect ending: warm chocolate chip cookies served with vanilla ice cream — simple, classic, and done flawlessly. A huge highlight of the evening was our waiter, Bernardo. We will absolutely be requesting him on future visits. He offered thoughtful suggestions, anticipated our needs effortlessly, and somehow managed to be there exactly when we needed him — and never when we didn’t, if that makes sense. Just genuinely attentive, professional, and welcoming service that elevated the entire experience. An unforgettable dinner all around. We can’t wait to come back.“

Though there were only two in our party, we were treated with the same over-the-top care that larger tables received. Dinner at Mooo was a fitting finale for an already memorable day!“

“We were celebrating our 16th anniversary and my retirement, and wanted to do it up right! We picked the right place for it. Coming in from Cape Cod, for a concert at Fenway we had reservations for Abe and Louie’s, but there were 2 at the bar so they let us sit there instead of our table. Our bartenders were great. To our surprise, Bree almost immediately said “Happy Anniversary!” And our drink order was taken. Michelle made a spicy margarita with a nice kick and a heavy glass, and a soda. Then we ordered shrimp cocktail which were brought out in mere moments. The shrimp were huge and cold and crunchy- perfect! We took our time and were not rushed to order our meal, but once we did, with Kendal, she asked all the right questions, offered to split our salad in the kitchen, and made some great recommendations. I wanted my Filet with their wedge salad as my entree and was told no problem. Our meal, my huge filet and my man’s ribeye were both cooked as requested and his suggested garlic whipped potatoes were creamy and yummy! The food was all out of this world, but what made the dining a true experience was the tango these three women danced around each other, each knowing what the other was doing and exactly what their patrons wanted. You can get a great filet many places but I pay for the service and we both felt like we were treated like royalty. Thank you Bree, Kendal and Michelle for making our anniversary and my retirement a true celebration!!“

“Can’t say enough good things about our experience at Capri! We came in to celebrate our friend finishing her cancer treatments, and they made an already incredibly special night even more unforgettable.

The restaurant was busy, but we never felt rushed for even a second. Everyone was so warm and genuinely engaged with our table, and they even surprised us with champagne to celebrate our friend, which meant so much to all of us.

Randy was our server and he was absolutely exceptional. He was fun, attentive, so personable, and somehow made the whole night feel really personal and special. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had an amazing experience.

Food was unbelievable. Truly one of those dinners where the food, service, atmosphere, and experience were all amazing.

“Popped by yesterday after walking by this place for 40 years. Saw a handmade sign advertising a meatball sub for $10. ok,,ill try it. It was homemade and actually pretty good BUT in my 60 years of eating meatball subs, this is the first one that was just meatball and bread..(with a sprinkle of parm out of a Kraft container)..no sauce or cheese (although i can do without that) some sauce would have made it!“

“Great day for an early dinner following the tall ships touring. Our waiter was amazing and rec lots of wonderful dishes for us to try. I quite enjoyed the lobster Mac and cheese and swordfish. The view was gorgeous as it overlooked all the ocean and ships. I will return again hopefully soon !“
