Really nice. Carrying on sandwich tradition for workers in the Park Square Building and surrounding area. The guy running the place is super friendly, makes great sandwiches and knows his stuff about Boston and food!

Don't bother going in after 4pm. They do not stay open til 5, let alone their posted time of 6pm. Bummer.

I ate a sandwich from here because I was in a time crunch and there were no lines. Ew. The food is gross.

Location, is what makes this place. Quality ok but they advertise that breakfast is served All day (have it posted everywhere) but it's actually Not!!! So change the sign...thus customer service is s****

Very small location, meaning I had to yell my bread selection over someone else's head. Which resulted in finding* they used the wrong bread (wheat instead of herb and cheese). Along with them "toasting" two orders at once adding to it being a lukewarm sandwich at best, resulted in a very bland wheaty sandwich. This location is far too small for the current customer load they get, so I would suggest going to a different location or restaurant if you are able to.* Discovered it was the wrong bread once I got back to my office, since there is zero area to possibly be able to eat there, I didn't see any seating areas anywhere close

Food was ok. Saw the owner or someone with a headset (maybe manager) kick someone out who was eating peacefully in the back because they had a sandwich from another shop, and then he chased him out. 1 Star for the d-bag owner.

Best $7 steak/roast beef sandwich I ever had! A little hard to find if you are walking down St. James. You have to enter 31 St. James. Back Bay is next to Subway. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I arrived around 3pm so no line but I can imagine the place gets busy based on quality, selection, and price.

This place rocks! The food is made fresh on the grill (no microwaves), the people here are super friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I come here many times for breakfast, and their lunch sandwiches are very good too!

My go to for breakfast sandwiches and lunch time sandwiches. Great value and great food. The bread is from great local providers like Iggys for the baguettes and OMG for the bagel sandwiches. One of my personal Favorites is the grilled salami egg and cheese on a baguette.

Probabbly one of the best subs Ive had at that price point. Would recommend heavily, but order online and ditch the super long wait (lunch time)

Good and quick, no-fuss sandwiches. A great lunch spot. One tip - if you're planning to order ahead of time, do it using Ritual - the Ritual orders are all ready waiting on the counter. I ordered using the Yelp / Grubhub built-in functionality, and when I went in to pick it up, I asked about it. They didn't have the order ready, but the owner checked and made it on the spot in about 1 minute, which was quite impressive. He even threw in a cookie to make up for not having it ready when I walked in.

As with most sandwich places, this was solidly in the middle. Good prices for lunch and hearty portions, however I felt that I could've made my sandwich at home myself. I got the Bostonian which was extremely mediocre - so much turkey with bread that wasn't crunchy. It was food, and it wasn't gross, and that's all.

Sandwiches just aren't that great. The chicken is not very flavorful and the lettuce was not fresh.

Fabulous selection of sandwiches. The kids LOVED the Nana Nini- banana and Nutella on a croissant. Quick friendly service too.
