Good chill place where you can get a well crafted mixed drink and food. They're known for their brick oven pizza, but i love their appetizers as I sit at the bar and have a drink.

The food is excellent, I went on a date with my partner and it's an amazing environment for a date. The decor seems a little confusing but I think it's got a nice quirky to it. The service is usually just okay as they seem to not have enough servers a lot of the time. It may also take a minute to get sat because the host it seems also has to bus tables.

Very disappointed by my dining experience tonight. We got the buffalo cauliflower which was soggy and way too spicy. I can handle heat but there was no other flavor to the cauliflower. The pizza was undercooked, floppy, and resembled what you’d get at Pizza Hut. For a place with a legitimate oven, you’d expect more and I was baffled by the low quality crust that accompanied it. What a missed opportunity to stand out.Drinks… I mean the Lush DIPA was good but for $9 you’d expect more than a 8oz pour from a keg.Service was good enough but the waitress forgot simple things like utensils and was not too attentive to the table either.Don’t think I’ll be going back. You guys dropped the ball

The Dogwood is a great neighborhood eatery that accommodates families and groups of friends alike. Unlike most other nearby pubs and taverns, the Dogwood feels more like a conventional restaurant with a bar, rather than a bar with a few tables to eat at, which is great for family meals.Kid-friendliness: We've been bringing our 7 year old twins here since they were born. We've never felt unwelcome or out of place.Parking: Street parking, or a few spaces around back. You'd be better of walking, or hopping on the bus or train.

Came here for my boyfriend’s b day as a nice surprise to go into the city. I called ahead and we got there and got seated eventually. The waitress didn’t come by for 15 minutes after we sat down. We asked for simple water and it took another 15 until I had to ask someone else to get some for us. The food was unfortunately very bad also for the price. Our waitress again never came by once not even for the bill, which i also had to ask another server for. I understand being short staffed but this was not that. Don’t recommend going at all.

This place has great food. I love a big menu and then a Dailey special menu. We got the tacos of the day and those guys were shrimp and avacado and perfect. Then tuni ahi nachos so 4 of those guys and thick pieces of tuna. The calamari was fresh and LIGHTLY breaded. Sooo goodMy chicken under a brick was super crispy and juicy. The veggies same super freshThe skirt steak had tangy chino cheri sauce and again loads of veggiesThe staff was happy and super friendly. Shout out to Gina who made us mock tails and was hilarious about serving the blueberry mojito

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.Service was prompt and foods were fresh and served hot.We had pizzas and appetizers.Wood fired pizzas had a soft on the inside but crispy on the outside, crust.Even saved room for deserts!Brownie sundae and apple crisp, both delicious !I highly recommend this place.Lost a star for tape on the booth seat.

Dogwood has become my husband and my favorite date spot! The staff is always delightful, and the food is always super tasty. We are massive fans of the calamari and the seasonal cocktail menu. Even if you want to have a salad, Dogwood kills it! The arugula salad with seared ahi tuna is my current summer favorite. Of course you cannot go wrong with the pizzas too - they're a perfect split entree after an appetizer. We will absolutely keep frequenting this super cozy, fun eatery!

I haven't been here in a few years and I was more focused on my friends birthday gathering, so I did not have expectations as we chose Dogwood for proximity reasons than food. (Now I wish I took pics of my food!) I appreciate these three top highlights: 1. Simple, yet well constructed dishes w decent portion size. My Special Salad dish was colorful, hearty, alternatives offered(peach slices vs craisins/bane of my existence), protein addition(salmon) perfectly cooked, dressing alternate (blue cheese vs Italian) allowed 2. Kind, attentive service. Our server was super helpful, considerate, and exuded life-giving aura 3. Ambiance is warm and comforting. Likely bc it was during the weekday, but we were well spaced out, had conversation privacy, and it helps that the AC was set at decent temperature on a humid day This accidental visit will need to become more intentional, now that Dogwood has upped their game.

I've only eaten in here once but unfortunately didn't have a great experience. We sat at the bar and when the bartender took my order I informed her I have a dairy allergy and asked what was in the veggie burger. It seemed she didn't know and instead of simply going to ask the chef, she told me it should be fine and gave off an attitude for my asking. So, I just went with it and took her word for it. Well, come to find out it is made with milk and I spent most of the next day and later that night sick. Not ideal and I was extremely irritated as it could have been avoided if she handled it differently. However, I called to let them know what happened and spoke to the manager. She was very apologetic and not only did they refund the entire order(I would have understood had it just been my order) but they also gave me a generous gift card.I appreciate them being willing to resolve the situation and I plan to return.

Great service, DELICIOUS FOOD!! What else can you ask for?! Try the roasted Romain salad and the spinach artichoke dip!! Both are to die for!! So glad to live close. We will be back!!!

Dogwood has great food and staff. They definitely were hit by covid. Staffing shortage, etc. But we still had a great time and the waitress we had was incredible. We did have to wait for them to open (about 10 minutes late.. in the rain.. but like. local business in hard times. that's not bad at all. They can't control the weather.) and they were out of what we wanted (brisket!!), but what we ordered instead was still delicious and we still go that cozy atmosphere we were looking for. My advice, show up at least a half-hour after opening, bring your patience and sense of humor with you (it is a privilege to eat out) and be kind to your staff!!! I was really surprised by how rude people were over such small issues.
