I recently visited this place with high hopes for a delicious meal, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I discovered that the restaurant only accepted cash payments, which was an inconvenience as I didn't have cash on hand. They told me that i can do pick up order,To my dismay, after placing my order , I was informed that I couldn't dine inside due to their policy, and it was raining heavily outside. This left me with no choice but to leave with my food and find shelter elsewhere. Sadly, I ended up having to discard my meal as it was impossible to enjoy it in the inclement weather. The lack of flexibility in payment options and the inability to dine indoors during adverse weather conditions greatly diminished my experience at Tora. While the food might have been good, the overall service and policies detracted significantly from what could have been an enjoyable meal.I hope the management considers revising their policies to provide a more accommodating experience for all customers, especially during challenging weather conditions.

a small cozy resturant with an slight open kitchen. quite busy on weekends during lunch hour - and be mindful because they only take cash! portions of ramen are a little small for american standard but for me perfect, not tooo filling and heavy on the stomach. got the shoyu ramen which was wonderuflly light and had a wonderufl truffle flavor from the oil. friend got the yuzu shoyu ramen which had a nice citrus taste to combat the depth of the broth. found the torched pork belly on ramen to be better than sou vide cha siu. will be back. kruo karaage app had an interesting black batter - did not add to taste. chicken felt less heavy as not a huge battered coating. overall very good for what they offer. liked this place quite a bit.

This was one of the best ramen I've ever eaten. The pasta was at the right point, the sauce tasty. It has Japanese beverage options. The environment is small and only accepts cash payments, but it is really worth going to eat there.

Just go! The ramen was amazing! We got the spice and black garlic options, both were amazing. You may wait awhile if you go during peek hours, sitting area is small (maybe 20 ppl total) but turnover is fairly quick. It wasn't a place to sit and linger. You get your food really fast, eat it and go. I can't wait to go back, so delicious! ***FYI this place is CASH ONLY*** There's an ATM there and a Chase bank right across the street. Parking in the area is 20-30 dollars from what we saw.

Finally got to try this place and the hype definitely did not disappoint! We went pretty early so there was no wait and we got seated right away by the windows. Their area is pretty small so by the time we finished eating there were a bunch of people waiting. Overall it was a very casual atmosphere and the service was great! I tried the classic tonkatsu ramen and it was so good! Usually it's hard for me to finish en entire bowl of ramen because the broth gets too heavy but here I was able to finish the whole thing. The broth was flavorful and rich but not too heavy and didn't leave me feeling groggy. The egg was perfectly soft boiled and their noodles were a perfect texture. The chasiu was a bit on the thinner side but it was so tender and delish! Def recommend and will be back!

Ramen was amazing, and the staff were attentive and helpful. I was very happy with the menu selection being a vegetarian, and would go back anytime. Highlights included the miso ramen, the mango mochi, and the yuzu sparkling soda. The bathroom is surprisingly nice too. Music isn't too loud, and there are enough seats to feel intimate without it being cramped or too loud. Cash only isn't an issue, there's an ATM in the doorway.

Best ramen spot in the city! The cheesy chashu don is so so addicting. Small place, only take cash but the food makes up for literally everything. Their pork belly is so tender and flavorful!!!!

Good food HOWEVER the one server pulling my friend to the side and asking for tips should definitely learn not to be entitled. He pulled my friend to the side (we're all college students with limited funds btw and we were trying to put together enough cash to pay for the dinner) and when my friend gave him a some more money, he shamelessly asked him for more, acting obnoxious and entitled.
