Very limited menu. My portabello melt was mostly cold when served. Staff warmed it further, which helped a little. Still, not worth $14 for reheated portabello caps on a dry English muffin, with a meager sprinkling of cheese.Vegetarian options: Salads, soups, and sandwiches among their veggie offerings.

Absolutely love this place! A wonderful place to eat while you explore the Garden. My favorite is the chicken salad cranberry walnut sandwich. There are great 1/2 sandwich + soup deals, and there’s something for everyone here. Definitely recommend stopping by, whether you’re visiting the Garden or not.

A farm to table spot nestled right inside the Botanic Garden. You'd think things would be run a bit smoother.A friend and I stopped here before wandering the garden. I tried their grilled vegetarian sandwich with goat cheese and beets. The flavors were...interesting.My friend has a gluten sensitivity and inquired about making some changes to a few of the items on the menu. The young girl operating the register said almost everything is pre-made so they can't make any changes to it.They had a self check out kiosk for simpler things like salads and a few of their sandwiches, but everyone trying to use the kiosk got frustrated and ended up back in line anyways. Which was beyond long and moving at a snails pace. Imagine standing in line with people getting far to close to you after walking around outside in 93 degree weather. Yeah... pleasant right? The outside patio area was nice to sit at, and the menu was pretty hearty with a lot of vegetarian options. I don't foresee going back at any time, however.

Yes. YES, YEEESSSS! What happened? A simple country ham and smoked gouda grilled cheese sandwich. This sandwich has a personality of its own. It looks you in the eyes and says "YOU can't handle so much goodness in a simple sandwich. This is what makes it so lovely. A simple sandwich unpretentiously elevated. Perfect clam chowder. A view to kill. Who knew? Worth the bites, the nibble, the gobble. Served by the nicest ladies happy to feed you. Hell yea!

A variety of sandwiches, wraps & salads are available. I ordered the tuna sandwich on a croissant which was very good. Draft and bottled beer, and wine is available also.

We were pleasantly surprised at our dining experience in this small cafeteria in the NE Botanical Garden. It has a captive audience, but serves very good, very fresh (and seemingly in-house prepared) food. It’s not inexpensive – a sandwich cost $14.00, but the chicken and apples and cranberries were all nicely blended. The soups vary (perhaps every day?). The offering our day was a rich and delicious vegetable.

A few of us checked out the Night Lights at the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill and we were glad there was a place to stop in and grab something to eat and drink. When we passed by Farmer and the Fork, we were immediately struck and embraced with an inviting and intense aroma of cider doughnuts wafting through the air. We made it a point to return afterwards and we did, there was no disappointment. About the circular size of a standard mug, the cider doughnuts were freshly made, warm and had great texture and slight chew. And so we had to order another half dozen. Just that good. Although we don't typically seek out grilled cheese, we noticed on their menu a selection with braised short ribs. Our decision was made and it was the right one. Sinking your teeth into the buttered crisp toast, into the cheese and finding the short ribs before biting through and pulling away with everything and chewing, delighted us very much. They also had apple cider and hot chocolate which could be have an addition of spirits for an extra cost. My friend got the apple cider with Captain Morgan's and I ordered the hot chocolate with Kalua. Come here definitely for the warm cider doughnuts and you won't regret it - you might just order another half dozen or two!

Absolutely Beautiful ❤️

Ridiculously overpriced, low quality food with a very small selection. Basically school lunch cafeteria style food. Got a teeny tiny grilled cheese that didn't taste good and it was $15. Going to brown bag it next time, this place wasn't worth all the money we spent.

I am a long time member of Tower Hill and have seen cafe vendors come and go. This latest iteration is the worst: looks like cafeteria style but is ordering at a cash register, small portions of meh sandwiches at premium prices, $9. for a can of beer, buzzers so YOU can pick up the food, tiny bags chips (.5 oz), and I know this will cause a ruckus - country music to accompany your pricey food. I’ve been to a few very nice botanical gardens around this country and I’ve never heard country music at their cafes- until now. NEBG needs to have a chat with this vendor.

What happened?! There used to be great food with healthy options. Tonight had only hot dogs, Pretzels, etc. No salad, bowls, sandwiches or soup so my wife had to sit the meal out.

I am a member of Tower Hill and it is sad for me to write this review of this eatery. The portions were extremely small and VERY pricey. I spent $7 on 6 oz of mac and cheese and for a family of 4 people I spent $75.The line was also painfully long and instead of being with my family and friends socializing I was standing in a 15 minute line.I am very disappointed. I really hope things change for the better.
