“Empty on a rainy Tuesday night. Had the revithokeftedes, Greek meatballs, moussaka and baklava. The apps and mains were perfect, the service fantastic, dessert a bit dry. Nice room, white table cloths, central bar. Parking on the street in front. A couple came and ordered from the bar. Many take out orders picked up or ready for delivery. Reasonable cost, great portions, authentic flavors. Go here.“
“I’ve been going to Opa for years and when they closed down, it was very sad. However, a new Greek family just reopened the restaurant and their meals are even better than the original Opa! I got the chicken souvlaki pita and my coworkers got the chicken gyro and veggie pita. Their food is very fresh, the flavors are much better and the family couldn’t be nicer. They even gave me samples of their mustard sauce (very tangy) as well as their delicious spicy feta. They have a new fan and I will be ordering with them again.“
“The food is great, but what really impresses is the service. Our door dash order was missing a dish and when I called to let them know, the apologized and immediately sent a replacement via Uber eats, no questions asked. Now THAT'S how you build a stellar reputation with the community! They were always a fave, but now they're our go-to for Greek food going forward.Vegetarian options: Falafel and salad options, also spanokopita.“
“Superiorly delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced is how I would describe the food at My Other Kitchen most concisely. Their Greek salad with chicken souvlaki is addictively good - it goes great with George's pita bread. Their hamburger tastes better than any burger I have had elsewhere, even at much higher prices! I highly recommend this place for takeout, but they also have limited seating inside and bigger tables outside in the warmer months.“
“As there are not nany great Greek restaurants in the area, this place has the best Greek food hands down. Good portions. Fair prices. Place is small with only a handful of tables. But comfortable enough. Lamb Shish Kebabs plate is delicious. Two nice size grilled skewers of lamb with tomatoes, onions and green peppers, served with Greek roasted potatoes, Greek salad and pita. Delicious!“
“The best lunch spot in all my years working in Boston. I wish your lunch menu was available on your dinner menu at the Somerville location! We don’t get in town much anymore and visiting state street was on my date night list this past weekend but you aren’t open on the weekends :( I miss my chicken gyro rice bowl - spicy. Thinking of it longingly!“
“Food and atmosphere was really good. We got a couple things off the menu including the Greek donuts. I liked the sauce, and the fries were seasoned really well. The chicken was a bit dry but no issue.Vegetarian options: Cheese and salad options“
“Visited my Hometown of Waltham last night. How I wish I had this where I live - Boston Kebab! Located at 146 Lexington St, across from Police Station. A great choice for a night out with family/friends and sharing a variety of different Mediterranean dishes to sample! LOVED IT! My favorite part was the bread and dips! Can't wait to go back!“
“I had to post this because it is incredible I’m 45 years old and this is the tastiest grilled chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. It’s grilled chicken, with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, banana peppers and light mayo on a toasted sub roll and it is one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I’ve gotten three this past week alone. It’s a must try and the family who owns Andrea’s are awesome people. It’s always a good experience in there!“
“The perfect old school diner. The coffee is great, my eggs were poached perfectly and the corn beef hash was exactly what I needed. My server, Chris, was super quick, friendly and made great recommendations - most importantly, she refilled my coffee before I could even ask. I’m so happy to see a local business thrive and am excited to come back soon.“
“I can't begin to describe how great this experience was. The service was quick, our server was beyond friendly, and the food? Phenomenal. Everything was hot and fresh, and super tasty. It seems like a family run business and honestly it adds to the charm.“
“Love this place! The service was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Food comes out fast and as ordered. Clean with plenty of booth seating inside with a good atmosphere a they also have a variety of free arcade games to play while your waiting for your food.Food was delicious with good size portions and prices are very reasonable.Definitely worth the visit and I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m in the area again.“
“Authentic, genuine family Greek. A Watertown institution for decades. Our first stop in post-Covid since moving back to the area. Demos has come through in fine form, remaining the unpretentious, generous, reliable eatery that it always has been. The chicken kebabs were tender and succulent, the pitas great, the salad huge and fresh (excellent feta). I love the lemon potatoes but the style is *not* for everyone. If you want crispy potatoes go for the fries instead.Service with smiles. Thank you, Demos.Oh—and I ordered takeout via the internet. Completely smooth transaction and the food was ready for me when I walked in the door.“
“Sweet, intimate neighborhood spot with good vibes and great business (but not too crazy busy)! The people who ran the restaurant were so kind and seemed truly passionate about what they do. Awesome cooks too. My partner and I ordered the Greek salad with chicken, which was amazing. The feta was so soft and yummy, and the chicken was freshly grilled! They have killer dolmades too. Flavorful and the perfect texture. We will definitely be back next time we're in Boston!“
“The food is excellent you will be pleased with anything you order, it is a store front restaurant that is clean and comfortable they have drinks and desserts the bread was home made & incredibly good I had the great leaves. My guest had the beef kebabs. They agreed roasted potatoes were excellent I capped it off without Armenian coffee. It's a Greek and Armenian restaurant and I will say that the food is authentic. I think you'll enjoy it.Parking: On street parking“
“Ordered takeout. This place has more options than the other Greek place we order from which I'm not a fan of. After ordering... I remember the name. I actually met the owner at my job in Winchester. Told him one day I'll get up there to try it. (The spinach pie) I did get that with the grilled chicken kabob. We also got hummus and gyro plate. This was the BEST chicken I've had in a long time from anywhere. Spanikopita was delicious. Rice is tasty.Highly recommend. Will be a repeat customer.“
“We had ghee roasted chicken (9/10), vegetable korma (6/10 as it was sweet and I don't like sweet meals) and jackfruit kofta (9/10, full marks for presentation). For appetizers, we had paneer bao which I felt was a bit bland (this was my first time having a bao and my taste buds crave for spices when at an Indian eatery). 10/10 for the drinks, they were very thoughtfully crafted. They have recently cut down on their menu items. I felt the options were fewer for entrees.“
