Good food at reasonable prices. Plus very pleasant decor and great service.

It started really well with great small plates that we took as starters, which set high expectations for large plates. However, main were nowhere close to the level of the starters, we had salmon and couscous. The place itself is quite simple but cozy, so no complaints, but nothing special as well. The service is super friendly, but a little slow, and I didn't like that they automatically add 18% gratuity, and then list extra space for tip on top of the gratuity

A small but beautifully decorated place on the busy Mass Ave. The restaurant seats no more than 20 tables, so a reservation is highly recommended. We came here on a very busy night, Valentine's Day, so the experience may not be representative of a typical night. The staff is exceptionally friendly, but service is slow. The restaurant was full and there were two wait staff attending to all patrons. There was a long delay between placing our orders to getting our drinks, then another long wait to get our food. There is not a bartender, which could explain some of the delay if the wait staff also had to make the drinks. I was very much looking forward to trying the cherbet. But when the drink was brought to me, it didn't have either the rose petals or mint. I asked and they said they ran out of those ingredients. The food was marvelous. We started out with Bedenjial Mechoui. The smokiness of the eggplant was perfectly done. For main entrees, we ordered lamb tajine and Merguez Couscous. Lamb tajine was perfection. The meat was tender and packed with robust flavors. The sausages in the couscous dish reminded me of breakfast sausages - they're on the smaller side and slightly drier than I expected. But the dish was flavorful and well balanced in terms of texture. Expect stellar food while here, but it just might come with a bit of waiting.

Very small restaurant, superior service, delicious food, our first meal during our first trip to Boston. Would go back if in that area of Cambridge.

Dined with friends and had a fabulous meal. Everything was delicious, great service and good wine, all at a very reasonable price. The katantika was an amazing appetizer. The salmon tagine and whole bass were spectacular. Dessert was excellent. We will be back again!

Best meal I've had in ages! The calamari starter was a def. highlight - very light coating and perfectly cooked with a slightly spicy sauce - Double Yum!!

food is just okay.would've given negative review given the chance. They didn't serve the drinks we ordered but added in the bill. over charged for the item. in total I had to ask them thrice to change the bill. with the terrible service I had no intention to add good tip but they added 18% already.we're the first group to be in that restaurant and for 30 mins no one was there. their response was really rude and I had a terrible experience when I came here along with my parents.when I asked them about terrible service they told they're busy. Omar (manager) response was we've only ordered 2 entrees. We're group of 4 and we've ordered 2 small plates and 3 entrees and made $175 bill. The way they've responded was so mean and rude. I regret going to this place.

Small with lovely decor. The menu is somewhat limited which would probably prevent me from going there often, but our meals were both delicious. We had the lamb tagine and the chicken tagine.

The best lamb tagine I've ever had (best meal I've had all year) and incredible service-- LOVED this place!!!!!

Food was ok. Small plates and appetizer were fine. The entree lamb tagine was quite disappointing. It is just a big bone with very little meat on it. Also the meat is quite dry. Not going back.

Dinner at Baraka was a wonderful experience. The service was prompt and polite. We ordered the Chicken and Salmon Tajine. Both dishes were flavorful and unique. Portions were a good size and left us satisfied. Overall a great experience.

Amazing bastilla! One of the best I’ve had. Loved the smoked eggplant, mint tea, and the assir and cherbet drinks

Delicious! One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Authentic Mediterranean flavor, cozy atmosphere, and decent portion sizes. The restaurant cannot serve alcohol on the patio so keep that in mind if you want to dine outside.

Such delicious food! It does take time, but the quality is worth the wait. I’d highly recommend.

Delicious food and excellent service! Our server recommended a Moroccan Syrah. We got the Zaatar Coca to start. The Zaatar bread was very fresh and the caramelized onions were so tasty it was like dessert. For our meal we got the Melkha and the Lamb Tajine. I’ve never had couscous so light and fluffy. The Lamb was cooked perfectly and fell right off the bone into a delicious sweet/savory sauce. I finished with a refreshing mint tea that had just enough sweetness to it. Definitely get the tea!
