Although my friends enjoyed their order because it was just the right portion for them, they could easily tell I didn't enjoy mine. My fault for playing the safe route and going for sushi. Takemura has Korean and Japanese food, but I'm not huge on Korean food. My first roll was the White Tiger Roll, which I felt like was a basic tuna roll and it's only strong point was the wasabi lemon sauce. Second was the Tornado Roll, this was a shrimp tempura topped with spicy crab meat. Although I wasn't a fan of the sushi, I still suggest you try it out, it may be your cup of tea! Also, it definitely beats waiting 2 hrs for the Jap BBQ upstairs.

This restaurant is my preferred one. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very receptive and the cooking they serve is so flavorful. I am always happy to have a nice meal in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Good place for takeout/snackpass! In snackpass they sometimes have 10% off discounts which is a plus. Overall the quality of their sushi isn't great, but it does the job of fulfilling a sushi craving for college students. Their spicy tuna rolls could have a better ratio of fish to rice. Their rice also isn't the best texture. However takemura fulfills the takeout sushi craving in Cambridge in comparison to cafe sushi, which has higher quality sushi but difficult to get a reservation at.

It may be listed as Japanese, but their Korean beef broth soup really hit the spot on a cold day!
Quaint restaurant. Non pretentious with a very wide variety of options and very high value for money.
