“Best Mediterranean food I've had in decades. Everything was delicious. Couldn't be better. I had the kofra kebab plate, ground beef with lamb, rolled and fried, salad, hummus, garlic sauce and tabouli. Look it up. I'm probably not touching it all the great aspects of it. Every part of it was exceptional, full of freshness and taste, each part distinctive in taste and presentation from another part. Not the usual commodification of Mediterranean food present in most imitative restaurants. So many spots are predictable, bland, food feeling like it sat around waiting to be served and unremarkable in every way. Not here. A full size salad, bright, light tastes with just the right amount of a delicate dressing. Not just the typical hunks of greens and ingredients thrown together with no soul and doused in some soybean oil based imitation.It was not the thick flour pita pocket that despite rips apart when you try to lightly stuff it with your salad or grape leaves or tabouli, despite being the thickness of baseball glove leather. This pita pocket was as thin as it could be, not the chewy baseball glove we usually get, yet completely resilient. It held everything I stuffed into it.”

“We tried 6 different things and they were all amazing . Great pizza , deserts are delicious. Fun atmosphere and the big wood stove fire is cool. Service was fast and polite. Our food came out pretty fast even tho it was busy on Friday. Everything was very well prepared and generous serving sizes. I can’t wait to go back. Get the Popeyes sweet pea pizza . One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had.”

“Caffè Nero in Dedham is easily my favorite location in Massachusetts so far! What sets it apart is the incredible amount of seating—it’s perfect whether you’re in a large group or just looking for a quiet corner. I absolutely love the ‘community library’ feel here; there’s something so relaxing about being able to grab a book off the shelf and read while you sip your coffee. Highly recommend if you need a spot to actually sit and stay a while.”

“We got a menu for them in the mail today and what made me order was the taco pizza. ive been looking for years for somewhere that made it. its absolutely delicious! However we are disappointed that the $13 chicken wing dinner only came with 5 wings. A ton of rice but not much chicken. I also didnt like how the driver never had me sign the receipt authorizing the credit card payment. i didnt even get a receipt showing how much the order was. The food is very good though. we ordered several things. ill definitely be getting this taco pizza more”

I ordered from the app and had a little trouble getting to the payment screen and staff member showed me how. Food was prepared quickly and was hot. I noticed another customer didn't want to use the tablet to order and staff member took her order at the register. I read other reviews criticizing everything I found perfect. “Super cute place!! I've been wanting to try them and was not disappointed! Easy to order and super friendly staff, I really enjoyed my visit. I was so overwhelmed with the options lol, I restrained myself to only 4 and a dessert cupcake. I had the meat lovers, shrimp and mac, buffalo chicken and mac, double pepperoni and the lemon blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Also a fresh strawberry lemonade that was excellent! Fair warning they come out HOT HOT HOT, I actually burned the roof of my mouth a little they were so hot but I couldn't stop eating it, they are a perfect size, not too big or small. So cheesy and stuffed with toppings, so expect some greasy as well. The buffalo chicken could of had a little more spice to it, didn't have a big buffalo flavor for me. The shrimp and Mac was just ok, nothing special. The two meats were great full of meat and cheese..as a pizza should be! One cupcake was cooked a little too long the bottom was a little tough, but I had another one cooked a little more on the top and was crispy just like a liked it! Perfect!! The dessert cupcake was just ok to me, not really flavorful, but I'm also not a big sweets person. They do rotate the dessert flavors on a monthly basis, but always have the regulars available. I even had left overs of the savory ones which were just as good the second day! Definitely will come back next time to try new flavors and take some home to freeze!!”

“Fun. The bowling was fun. They play good music. The arcade is okay, needs to be updated. My personal favorite part was the darts. They gave us 15 minutes for free. The darts had different types of games to play. Super cool.”

“We recently visited on a weekday afternoon to celebrate our grandson’s graduation from Elementary School. There were numerous other families from his school and it was pretty busy. Paige our server greeted us with a smile and took our drink order right away. She took our orders and consistently checked on us during our stay. We live the Tavern became of all of its GF options. We need it for a family member who has Celiac disease and several others eat GF as a preference. The GF options are delicious and keep us coming back. As an added bonus, Paige told us our grandson’s dessert was on her as a graduation gift. Paige and the food are great and why we keep coming back to Tavern in the Square in Dedham.”
