“My grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed our selections. He had mint chip with rainbow sprinkles (lots I might add) and I had a Salted Caramel Sundae with Bourbon Frozen Yogurt. Mine was outstanding. My grandson has Celiac disease which is always a big concern when eating out. His experience was excellent and for more info on these please read my whole review.Dietary restrictions: Staff member Joana was very attentive to my grandson’s having Celiac disease. When informed of it she told us she would be right back after going to wash her hands and get new utensils to use. She also got the sprinkles from a fresh box away from the general area of other toppings and used a new clean utensil as well. I can’t say enough good things about her being attentive and careful when helping my grandson enjoy his ice cream. My grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed our selections.Kid-friendliness: Staff is very attentive to kids.“

“Nestled amidst the vibrant streets of Boston, this cozy coffee shop exudes an aura of warmth and hospitality that instantly captivates the senses. Despite the impending closure, the staff graciously accommodated our order, even surprising us with a complimentary black pepper biscuit, showcasing their unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction. As we savored our brew, we couldn't help but notice the steady stream of locals, eagerly picking up their favorite coffee beans, a testament to the shop's revered status within the community.Intrigued by the diverse selection of flavors, I opted for the cardamom latte, a bold choice that rewarded my palate with a symphony of aromatic spices. Its nuanced profile, reminiscent of a beloved classic with a unique twist, left a lasting impression, ensuring that a return visit to this charming establishment is firmly on the agenda.“

“This is a good coffee shop. It has a friendly staff, good food, and is physically clean. The only downside is that the morning staff sometimes plays loud, banging rock that is the opposite of morning calm. This happens a lot and may drive away folks who are either older or want to read or do work. When the music is obnoxious, go to Caffe Nero in JP.“

“Recreo is truly special. I don’t visit nearly as often as I’d like due to my work schedule, but every time I do it’s a highlight in my day. Recreo is known as West Roxbury’s living room and it’s easy to see why. The owners Hector and Miriam have created a welcoming space for all to stop in and connect over coffee from the family farm in Nicaragua. Truly from farm to your cup! The barista team is friendly, knowledgeable and committed to making top quality hand crafted beverages. My favorite is a whole milk latte with an extra shot. I usually enjoy a mixed berry scone or mini blueberry loaf with it. Baked goods are made locally and are always fresh and tasty. There’s also a great selection beans for sale (freshly roasted on site). Eden has given me great suggestions on what to try at home for cold brew!“

“Stopped by for an espresso and some breakfast one rainy morning. I got their featured espresso, which was pretty good—and it came with a glass of sparkling water, which was nice. The biscuits sandwich was pretty good too, even if the slice of cheese it came with was almost comically thin. Everyone working their was really nice, though for how many people were behind the counter, it took a while to get my coffee. But that's okay, the vibs are chill, there's lots of space inside and bathrooms too.“

“One of the best coffee shops in the Boston area. My spouse loves their iced lavender latte. She likes that it’s floral and not candy sweet. Chai can be a little weak on the flavor-ask for extra chai concentrate and then it’s delightful. They use Oatly oatmilk, which is superior so oat milk drinkers will love it. Staff tend to be a little aloof, but they are responsive and will do right by you.“

Public Market, 100 Hanover St, Boston - 9.93 miles

“I don't drink coffee. I know my coffee drinking friends say this coffee is really good.I do enjoy tea and the tea place in the Boston public market closed at the beginning of 2024 and my favorite London fog in the city of Boston (they are very few options but this was the best) is now no longer available. these guys are trying to pick up the slack.I've tried two so far, the first one was made with chai tea and that's not correct or how I like it. I drank half of it toss the wrist. however with this experience the next time I asked to be sure to have the Earl Gray tea and the girl informed me that's how it's supposed to be made!SUCCESS.THIS IS NOW THE BEST LONDON FOG IN BOSTON...as of February 2024.“
