“Had the Cesar salad, it was pretty good (a little overdressed for my taste). The service was very slow considering we were only 2 of 4 people at the bar. Overall not a bad place if you don't feel like going out, but if you have another option, I would probably pick it.“

“Went for first time 3/3/24 and caught the end of the brunch buffet around 4pm. The food was flavorful, fresh, and overall excellent. Something for everyone in that buffet -it's not overly seasoned, and they had several deserts that use natural sweeteners (like dates and figs) with no added sugar. They keep the food areas very well attended and clean. I will be back again and again, what a great find!“

“I was looking for a cheap, quick, and easy breakfast spot for me and my boyfriend, and this was a perfect place for that! You order up at the counter, and we wanted to sit in so we got a little number and picked a table. Someone came over and delivered our meal to us! Once we were done we put our dishes in the container in the middle of the place.I ordered two scrambled eggs, bacon, and GF toast (they have GF toast and GF bagels: no other GF options which was sad) with a caramel iced coffee. My boyfriend got the Nest with a hot coffee- they gave him a nice ceramic mug! Food was really good!Friendly people behind the counter, they really made sure that you got everything you wanted and took their time to make sure they got our order right!I figured it would be pretty busy there on a Saturday morning, but we went right in and ordered and sat down!“

“This restaurant's food is top of the line food that was presented excellently. The various choices in each category (appetizers, entree, etc) was so amazing. Each item of food had such a plethora of ingredients that was cataclysmic. Hats off to the chef! I could tell that the filter mignon was made from a special hand picked source...so tender and seasoned so simply and done exactly how I ordered it! That menu and quality of food belongs in an upscale, classy restaurant that sets the tables with white table cloths and soft chamber music. Although the atmosphere was clean, bright and beautifully done, having the bar right there with sports playing televisions going on...and very happy, vibrant sports fans made the experience more "pub-like", which is fine if you're not wanting "fine dining"...to put it briefly...phenomenal fancy restaurant food in a very casual atmosphere. Whrn there is a set menu and a busy day,as there was for Mother's Day brunch, I tend to worry if the food will be up to the usual standard in any restaurant. I have been to other restaurants for holiday meals where the experience was hurried, overcrowded and the food sub par. Not the case at J's! The food was amazing! Did not feel rushed at all. “It was great. I saw a wonderful concert. The food was delicious, the staff was fantastic, and the event space was very nice. No complaints. There is always room for improvement, but I cannot think of anything specific, so 5 stars all around.

Parking: I had no issue finding parking despite how busy the place was.

Wheelchair accessibility: The building is old, so some doorways are a little narrow, but there are ramps into the front and up to the event space.“

“I have been coming in once a week for the last few months and always enjoy my breakfast. I am beyond impressed with the quality and size of my breakfast sandwich every time. I usually have half for breakfast and half for lunch. I get the turkey bacon on a plain bagel with fresh lettuce and tomato, and have yet to get tired of it. It's loaded with turkey and they are never cheap with the bacon. I'm thrilled to see them throw on fresh bacon every time I order because that is unheard of at places like this these days. I never wait more than a few minutes and I'm out the door with a great breakfast each time.“

I was treating everyone to the dinne, When I got the bill, I quietly mentioned to Susanna that I was legally blind and had difficulty seeing and I wanted to just review my calculation with her so I could be sure that I had added everything up correctly. Walking into the place is such a pleasant experience with the excellent smell of pizza. The short wait for the pizza is very nice and the overall taste and smell of the pizza is just incredible.
