“Gibbet Hill is by far my favorite restaurant. The crab dip appetizer is loaded with crab, I think the salads are picked out back on the day they are served, and the steaks are second to none. The atmosphere is so friendly, cozy, and just the right amount of upscale. Even if you don't eat, sit at the bar and try their signature cocktails. Last but no least the Pot de Creme desert is not to be missed. The only problem is they have ruined me for all other steak restaurants as I always find myself comparing it to Gibbet Hill Grill steak.“

“My first time eating here and it was great. Food, service, atmosphere were wonderful. My friend and I were there for at least two hours and never felt rushed. In fact, I water glasses were constantly filled. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant ???“

“We just ate here the other day as our daughter has moved to Clinton. We were so thrilled with our entire meal, starting with the warm bread with oil/parmesan brought to the table. The clam chowder was the best I have ever had, many more clams than potatoes. The New Zealand mussels were so tender and the broth so dippable! We have told our daughter we will be visiting her much more often just so we can go here again. (I'm not sure she was thrilled with that news until we told her we would definitely take her out to a meal here!)Parking: Got a spot right in front of the restaurant for a Saturday lunch visit.“
“We’ve tried several local home meal delivery companies and Weco is by far superior. They use quality ingredients and recipes that my whole family (even a picky toddler!) enjoys. As a busy mom of one, soon to be two, it is really a time saver!“
“An incredible dining experience! The food was beautifully presented and incredibly delicious! The staff was amazing and attentive! Outdoor cocktails and appetizers overlooking a beautiful landscape and warmed by a fire...just perfect! A special thank you to Derek who was extremely helpful and attentive!..“

“We had the Sunday brunch which was very good. I had the French toast special which included bacon, eggs, sausage, potato, lettuce, French toast and a small amount of fruit. Other people had the shrimp and grits -- apparently the best grits that my wife had tasted outside of New Orleans. The Cobb salad was huge. The disappointment was the creme brulee cheesecake which was uninspired.“

“While looking for a place for dinner, we happened upon Markoh's quite by accident and are happy we did! My husband and I shared 2 small plates -- the Little Shorty, the Brussels Sprouts and the Mother Earth salad. Here it is, 2 weeks later, and we're still raving about this little hole in the wall bar/restaurant that we almost passed by. Great food, great bartender/server, great ambience. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Give this place a try.“

“We enjoyed our monthly girls night here. The staff were super friendly. Our server was very good. The menu had some good options burgers, pizza, and full dinners. I had the salmon burger with sweet potato fries. It was tasty. The haddock dinner was well liked by a few of my friends. The room had a rustic tavern vibe. Would definitely recommend. Prices were very reasonable.“

“This is four stars based on their great burgers. We drive 40 minutes for their burgers, past innumerable burger places. Particularly their black and blue burger, which offers real bleu cheese not just salad dressing, and a half pound of meat. Other food is pretty good; the burgers are awesome.“

“Raw seafood prices are a bit high but the cooked items are delicious and priced well. Grilled salmon sandwich - 5/5 very good. Came with a thick piece of salmon filet. Ask for lettuce, tomato and onion when ordering. Fisherman's platter - 4/5 everything on the platter tasted juicy and fresh. I especially liked the whole belly clams and shrimp. The fries were alright and tasted frozen. Onions rings - 4.5/5. I don't think these are made jn house but they were perfectly fried and tasted great. Service - 5/5 the owner was friendly and efficient. Looking forward to coming back again.“

“Wow! This place is outstanding, in an area of New England where there are lots of good diners. The parking is always full, which tells you something right off the bat. Our server recommended one of their breakfast specials - Eggs Benedict Irish Style with sliced corned beef... I ordered that and was over-the-top happy with it. Cooked to perfection ??“

“We only had French fries- which were excellent! But being a beer drinker - IPAs - there were lots of delightful and local options and the conversation with proprietor about the lineup was pleasant and interesting. The vibe ranks high. Enjoy!“

“I moved to this town alittle over a year ago and FINALLY decided to try this place on my lunch break, kicking myself I didn't sooner! The owner (I assume) was very welcoming and kind! I like that they offer gluten-free options, always a plus. My reuben sandwich was amazing, it was enough for probably two meals. I'll certainly be back again very soon and will spread the word!“

“Great night, really good food, excellent cocktails and a very nice wine. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. The birthday cookie and candle on the dessert was a nice touch. Just a really nice evening. Monday is a good night to go to F&V. Other nights can be a bit noisy and cramped feeling but the food and drinks are still excellent.“

“This is an old school diner! Not a 50s or 60s styled place, but a booth and bar, coffee and eggs, family run place. Food is great, prepared perfectly by genuinely kind people. Been a patron for years. It's so nice to see a family working together, learning and growing. Treat yourselves and your heart will be as full as your tummy!“

“We had an absolutely wonderful evening at the phoenix. Our server BB was wonderful and attentative. I had the nachos. The chili on them were mildly spiced, but I had mine without jalapeños. The portion was huge and could easily be split by two for a full meal. My husband had the burger and was happy with it. My husband had a beer on tap, nothing special. I got a mudslide and it was excellent. For two drinks and all that it was $50. The resteraunt atmosphere was charming. Kinda bummed they didn't have any gluten-free rolls, but one can not expect that. We will be back.“

“Okay so overall it wasn’t terrible. The food was delicious. However the server took days to come back and check on us. But we understood it’s busy so she did try her best. There was so many birthdays when we were there so it got loud fast and it was one after another. But again, I’m here for the food and the food was amazing.“

We ordered a cheeseburger with mushrooms and French fries , and a small eggplant sub , didn't want fries but wasn't told it come with onion rings too. Our food was delicious, waitress friendly . Too bad the place looks like a dive and the parking lot is a mess .“

“This is a really good restaurant that’s located inside of the movie theater, but it’s not movie theater food. We had great burgers and the fries were perfect! The owner was also really nice and the service was great. Recommend trying it out“

“I was raised in Townsend and I've been around the area my whole life. In that time I've seen a lot of things change, but never the Townsend House. It's a great family restaurant with great food. We got there at 6:30 on a Saturday night, the place was pretty full, and they still made room for us. Food came quickly and everything was great. Kudos to the staff, especially the waitress, she was friendly and quick even though the place was full and our order was complicated. Absolutely highly recommended, if you're just going to the bar for a drink or bringing the whole familyDietary restrictions: We had special requests for some of our meals and the waitress was very helpful. Everything was handled perfectly and nothing was delayed“

“We have been stopping here for breakfast a few times a month. The food is always very good, as are the prices. The owner & staff are friendly. But it goes beyond the food being good.Last visit after working a 12.5 hour shift, we finished our breakfast and when we were ready to leave found that the car would not start. While calling AAA the owner’s son and two customers came out to see if everything was ok & ask if they could help. They got us started. In a time when it’s hard to find a single person willing to go out of their way to help you we had three. Three people that we only know to say hi to when we see them in the restaurant. We do not even know their names. This is Clinton”s Sunshine Cafe. Not just great food and prices but friendly people that are willing to help you. People that make you feel welcome.I would highly recommend this place.“
“The waitress and owner we're very welcoming and have witty personalities. The experience has left me wanting to come back for the atmosphere the place but the food is the BOMB. The owner takes his craft seriously and does a phenomenal job delivering just that. If your looking for a cozy, little nook for you and your partner I would recommend this diner to be your next stop. Thank you for your hospitality.Dietary restrictions: Dairy options if your lactose intolerantParking: You can park any where near the diner or near the local store.Kid-friendliness: There's enough room for a family of four but not enough for a family of six because you never know how busy it's going to get.“

“Visiting from out of state on a business trip, we found Tatlista through a google search. We’ve been having to eat out for every meal this week and as a group we unanimously agreed that Tatlista was by far our favorite.Everything we ordered from beginning to end was top notch! Lobster Rangoons, zucchini chips, bourbon steak bites, the steak poutine! One in our group even branched out a little and asked if there was any dish not on the menu that the chef recommended and he was extremely pleased with the haddock dish special that was reserved for the future featured menu. Service was excellent, friendly, welcoming and upbeat. The chef is passionate, caring and was eager to hear about our experience. Thank you so much! I wish I could say we’d be back soon, but it’s quite the drive from Wisconsin! But know that we will always remember Tatlista. Maybe one day you will see us again?“

“Stevie's Cafe has always been open M-F for breakfast and lunch. I have enjoyed both, as well as having attended a 115 person wedding catered by Stevie on the grounds around the cafe. Expanding on that success, the Cafe just opened on weekends for breakfast. My omelette was cooked to order, accompanied by home fries, bagel, and endless coffee. Beautiful view over the deck adorned by flower planters. I have also learned that Stevie runs the 501(c)(3) Feed A Neighbor Program from this location delivering meals to the food insecure.Kid-friendliness: A dad was enjoying breakfast with the one of his three children who got up this morning! :-)Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap ramp and automatic door.“

“This is a classy looking place. I enjoyed my first visit here, recommended by local colleagues. Nice selection of fresh oysters and mine were Canadian, delicious on the shell. My entree was cod with panco crust, nicely prepared and presented, delicious. I would definitely recommend this place. “Awesome Service especially if it’s our amazing waitress Nicole! Breakfast was also great. Thank you Nicole in these days excellent customer service is hard to find and I also it’s not an easy job! Thanks again for a wonderful experience.“
“I thought this place was out of business. Haven’t been able to call them in last few months. Tonight I was able to order thru Door Dash with self-pickup and was pleased to see they were actually open. I was told inside they were indeed closed about a month and then I told them I could not get through on the phone tonight also. I tried several times and I did it in front of them and their phone was not ringing so I guess they have an issue with their telephone line. Thankfully, I got my food, and it was quite delicious as in the past, I got the large order of pernil with rice & gandules. $23 and enough for at least 3 people. Try it!“

“Our 1st visit...won't be our last. Our server was Sarah...FABULOUS young lady. The meals were delicious. Baked Haddock made MIL very happy as it was the best she has ever had AnYwHeRe. “The grounds offer breath taking views of New England beauty proportions. You have a lot here in small spaces for time to explore and wander or nibble and sip. Affordable day trip to explore, and learn. The hosts in every museum house are incredibly knowledgeable and with a love for what they do that is like a warm hug. The little shop is full of beautiful things and affordable art pieces to purchase. All in all, a lovely piece of New England for the day trip adventurer that enjoys indoor-outdoor simple pleasures. And from what I hear, a bucolic setting for a wedding, anniversary, birthday or other events.“

“Met friends for a meal here earlier this week. It was excellent. All our meals were well prepared and delicious. Seating is limited, and the atmosphere is casual. Best to arrive early or be prepared for a wait (lots of outdoor seating available during the summer months). Reservations for parties of eight or larger. Perfect for an evening out. We had fish & chips, pulled pork and a burger. All were excellent.“

“The steak tips bomb sub was amazing, one of the best I've had, skip the sweet potato fries though they were thin and disappointing, the regular fries my wife had were better. She ordered a chicken wrap she liked very much and we shared a basket of delicious fried pickles. The bartender who also served us, though not friendliest was nice enough and attentive (more important) getting our drinks and orders out in a good time even though she was by herself with maybe half a dozen people at the bar itself and another group of customers at a different booth. Overall great experience, will def return for another steak tips bomb!“

“This is more of a bar review for my new local haunt, I've been a few times now and I like the music, friendly local atmosphere, and the staff is well above average. The food is decent so far but I haven't tried much. Its location is well situated to lure me in for a coors light and French onion if I need anything in the plaza.“

“Had the Cesar salad, it was pretty good (a little overdressed for my taste). The service was very slow considering we were only 2 of 4 people at the bar. Overall not a bad place if you don't feel like going out, but if you have another option, I would probably pick it.“
