“Ok so we came from Chicago and looked for places to eat. I almost didn’t come because it was 3.9 stars. Whoever gave this place a bad review is all lies. Food was just like the name “Flame”, And baby that sauce she put on my rice and peas was smackin!! It’s meant to be an In and out spot so don’t expect luxury, However it is clean. Just go just go just go if you wanna eat good!!“

“I order takeout from Murl's when I want a balanced meal with Carribean flavors. The jerk chicken is seasoned beautifully, and they scoop extra of the sauce into the container when I order a plate so I can douse my rice in the deliciousness. The oxtail is always fall-off-the-bone tender and flavorful. The veggies are always seasoned perfectly, and cooked so that they still have a bite to them (never mushy)! The mac and cheese never disappoints. I am always satisfied ordering from here!! <3“

“Get the jerk chicken. It’s delicious. I was on my long run and stopped here as a mid run food break, rest stop. The jerk chicken and rice was amazing. I will definitely be back next week for more food haha. This place was packed too! So busy. I knew it had to be good.“

“This is a local Dorchester place that gives you pretty decent food. They call it "Jamerican" which is pretty accurate. Jamaican inspired food that leans more American flavor wise or spice wise. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They recently updated there food area which makes ordering easier. They also took over the bakery that was attached but that space hasn't really been updated. It would make a good eating area if they can find a way to update it.“
