“Cloud fushion is the new “soju ba”/ “myung dong” of Quincy. I love that it opens late until 1am, which is good for some last minute going out plans/small birthday get togethers. Service was good especially Jeffrey who served us, was very nice and attentive. The place is small, but cozy. The drinks and some foods were delicious. Bathroom was ok clean, could be better. Definitely would love to come back again.“
“Since my husband and I found out about this restaurant, we've always wanted to try the food, and when we did, the food and service did not disappoint. One of the best foods we've had in the Boston area since moving out here. We will definitely be going back.“
“I have been to MIDA a couple times now, this location along with the Newton location. Normally I get the paccheri bolognese or the rock shrimp carbonara, with the north shore fruit to misto to start, which is their calamari. This recent visit, I tried the short rib lasagna and arancini. All of the food was solid, per usual... I will say the pasta was a little too al dente and the temperature of the food did not arrive to our table hot but more so warm. Otherwise, the flavors are always spot on and amazing; I just wish the food was more hot. Our server was kind and super helpful. If you are not in the mood for any alcoholic drinks, you can never go wrong with their shirley temple. This location gets pretty packed for dinner time, but the wait for table is never too long. I recommend coming here if you are in the mood for Italian and do not want to go the North End and struggle with finding parking.“
“A smallish restaurant is hidden on River Street a few blocks down from Central Square in Cambridge. This is the sister restaurant to What a Chick in Watertown, so I had pretty high expectations coming in. I came here on a Friday night for dinner just as the dinner rush started. We sat down at a table and hung up our jackets on the hooks against the wall towards the back of the restaurant. We were given the menu and I easily decided on the pork ball boat noodle soup. As we were waiting for our food, we noticed the service was quick and efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal from the sweet broth to the soft tender meatballs, and the crunchy pork rinds. The presentation is great with the signature crisp with "What a Soup" imprinted on it as well. We were also offered 10% off our bill for reviewing them on Google. Overall, a great place to check out in Cambridge that'll satisfy your hunger.“
“Ramen is absolutely AMAZING!! Very flavor full and filling with lots of options. The place was much smaller than expected and because of the popularity there is usually a line around lunch and dinner time. So it does get pretty crowded but I think it is worth it for the amazing food.Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled the vegetarian dishes. I am not vegetation myself But it seemed they had some good options!“
“Omg soooo good I want to come back and try all the vegan dishes and all the levels of spiciness. Gundruk Soup! Get it!Vegetable Mo Mo! Get it!Can't wait to come back for more. Great food, friendly service. Get ready for a flavor experience you will love.“
“The BEST Chinese restaurant in the area.such great value for delicious and authentic Chinese food. The servers are the sweetest and nicest. Great atmosphere and always high attention to detail. All your classic Chinese dishes. The dumplings are AMAZING - juicy and flavorful - made with handmade dumpling skins. The beef noodle soup (niu rou mian) is delicious as well - very well balanced! My go-to Chinese restaurant spot!“
“Delicious udon at a somewhat high, yet reasonable price point! We got the creamy uni udon and the pork kimchi udon. For both, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the soup base was delicious! There was a generous serving of uni and pork, and noodles were plentiful!“
“I've been here lots of times. I am not vegan but still this is one of my favorite places to grab ramen in Boston. There's only 5 options, and I've tried 4 - they are all amazing but the Japanese curry one is my recommendation!! The pricing also seems fair for the area. No outdoor “
“Exceptional meal...so focused on the food and conversation I forgot to take any pictures. Would definitely recommend. All the sushi/sashimi we had was fresh and very nicely done. We did the gyoza which were nice...but the Chiharu pancakes were amazing..would go back just for those.“
“This place is amazing! I’ve been here over 20 times and the food is consistently fantastic. Wait staff is so nice and professional. It’s hard to work at a place that typically gets one huge rush a day but they are so great and the food always shines.“
“i am not usually one to leave reviews, but i just have to say. the manager theo and the girl with the brown/blonde ombré curly hair (i wish i asked her name) behind the bar were some of the nicest people i’ve ever encountered in a restaurant. i unfortunately had a piece of meat in my vegetarian ramen, but the manager came over to apologize and shook my hand when he did not need to, gave me a brand new ramen and comped my whole bill. it was very nice and i just appreciated them being understanding, if something like that happens at other places, usually they just bring me a new one. sometimes they don’t even care and i still end up paying for it, but in my 10 years of being vegetarian i’ve never experienced service like that. i don’t know if that’s saying something about restaurants or the restaurants i’ve been too in general or if this place is just over the top but either way i had a wonderful experience at mecha noodle bar and i will definitely be back! in terms of what i ordered, it was delicious, despite the meat in my ramen, i ended up having a wonderful meal! andif you read this far, you should definitely try the spiked mango lassi bubble tea (you can have it non spiked too) it was wonderful :)ALSO BONUS I REALLY LOVED THAT THEY WERE PLAYING HxH ON THE TVS!Vegetarian options: they have one ramen choice for vegetarians, and a couple appetizers as well. not a huge selection but the ramen was great imo“
“When Sumiao first opened in 2017 I got violently sick from how spicy the food was (I have no spice tolerance). I'm happy to report back that there's more non spicy and even less spicy options. A bit expensive, which is typical for the area, but the portions are kinda decently sized enough. There's a lot of dishes that are spicy and you can get no spicy, and some where the lowest they can go is medium spicy. Those were still good but I could only eat a few bites. Similarly, there are some dishes you can ask for vegetarian, the the vegetable dishes or the fried rice.Went with one coworker who couldn't eat seafood, one couldn't eat meat or seafood, and one who was allergic to peanuts. We got a couple of vegetarian options (rice, noodles, one veggie dish that had the option of no meat). When the food came out, they were all labeled with little flags saying "vegetarian" and "allergy". Except the allergies flags were a little inconsistent because one was in a dish without peanuts and one was in a dish made with peanut sauce. I think we would have benefitted from an explanation about the flags because the friend allergic to peanuts was the one who first ate the dish with the peanut sauce, thinking that it meant it was ok. We should have known by reading the menu but it was a bit confusing.Vegetarian options: Limited“
“Soba has been on my food bucket list and I think this spot gave a very authentic soba experience. The food was all very refreshing and pleasant to eat, which is probably the main draw of soba. The mild flavors mean you can effortlessly finish the large portion of noodles and tempura in the meal set without the typical fatigue you get from a large bowl of noodles and plate of fried foods. All the fried foods we got were cooked to crispy perfection and were definitely my favorite bites. Ultimately though I just think I’m not the biggest fan of soba. I don’t imagine myself craving soba but I would be open to trying different styles of it if given the chance. Thank you to Sugidama for a great meal regardless.“
“I visited Boston Soup Dumplings last Sunday for a late lunch/early dinner. We were seating right away since it was around 4:30 PM, not sure if there's usually a longer wait during peak times! We got the Sichuan spicy pork wontons in green pepper oil, steamed pork soup dumplings, and wonton noodle soup. Everything was delicious and I will be back to try more soon. The spicy pork wontons were my favorite, they were perfectly spicy. I was even dipping my wontons from the soup into the green pepper oil because I couldn't get enough. The restaurant was very clean and the service was quick.“
“We had an excellent meal with excellent service in a lovely restaurant. Sushi presentation was creative, fresh and delicious. The drinks were creative and also delicious. Their specialty cocktail with particularly good. We’ve been there more than once, and fully intend to go back again. We recommend this place very much. One of our favorites.Parking: No problems finding parking nearby.“
“The dumplings and noodle dishes are soooo good -- super fresh and served piping hot and super juicy and flavorful. That being said, the seating situation is stressful. There are a few tables but no table service -- you order everything through a kiosk and then grab it once the number on your receipt is called. So every time someone begins packing up, others immediately jump in to grab the table because otherwise you'll get your food and have no where to sit. This is definitely not a great spot for a relaxed meal because you will be expected to leave as soon as you finish and probably won't be able to get a table without being competitive and on it as soon as someone else starts packing up. I highly recommend the food here, but either for take-out or to get when it's not a regular meal time and therefore crowded.“
“There are a couple of things to get past on your first visit but it's well worth it. Firstly, expect long wait times, as the noodles are boiled freshly in front of you and the bowls are made to order. It's worth the wait. I got the szechuan beef noodle soup and it hit. They have a microwave safe container. I put the leftovers in the fridge and heated it up for dinner. It's the priciest place in the food court but is by far the best. It deserves to be somewhere better. Coming back as we grow into winter and days get colder.Oh yeah, the other thing to get past is that you have to order at Dragon Bowl. Hint: it's the register door next door.“
“Ordered the dry hot pot and garlic bok choy. Both were very good and service was good excellent. Mala hot pot could’ve been spicier, but they have chili oil on the side if you’d like to up the spice. Added pulled noodles and they were the perfect texture. Would come back for sure.“
“The two gentlemen that served me lunch today were extremely kind and polite, creating an inviting atmosphere among the many film posters that adorned the walls of the restaurant.Sitting at the bar created a warm and inviting atmosphere and her let you peer into their clean and spacious kitchen as they prepare your food fresh. And fellas, let me tell you; the food is PEAK. This is the most delicious ramen I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to almost a dozen ramen places in the Boston area. I almost didn’t want to tell people about this place: it was that good. The takoyaki was good, and for those with dietary restrictions, the vegetarian option was my first choice. I highly recommend it and can’t give the food praise enough.“
“Our server was very sweet and very prompt. All my requests to exclude specific ingredients were met. I got the Wagamama Salad with tofu and my partner got the Spicy Pork Ramen and they were both great. We understand that the food here isn't authentic, but wanted to try it and still thoroughly enjoyed it!“
“Found this place via Instagram. The staff are all nice and food was great. Small seating area but when I went in the evening was able to sit. Staff told me there are two other locations which I will have to check out in the future. Will be back !“
“After seeing this place on instagram, we went for the first time on V-day and it did not disappoint! We ordered 03 and 15 on the menu. Broth is rich but not too heavy. Portion was great and I ended up taking some home! Thai iced tea and Vietnamese coffee was good too. Will be back soon!“
“Really liked the food. The service is wonderful. The one thing that I could recommend for improvement, in my opinion, is to totally change the music from rap/hip-hop/loud to soothing, soft, and graceful. That would make my eating experience so much more pleasant. Thank you very much.“
“Soups here are very good and flavorful. The service is quick (implied by the name 10 second delivery) because the prep is done in advance. If you get takeout, expect noodles and most toppings to be packaged separately as trays to one container. Parking can be found on the side road. It's located behind Wollaston station.“
“Been there 3 times already and will continue to go. Food is great and tastes authentic (even if the design of the dishes feels somewhat formulaic).Milk and fruit tea options are a great combo with the spicy dishes.Vibe is minimalistic and modern, which fits the theme.I think the only thing they need is to update their marketing strategy to become more localized and attract more regular customers. As it stands it still feels like a brand imported from overseas.“
“The food there is always so delicious and the staff there are always so polite!!! The friendly man (not sure if he is the owner) took good care of us by providing us plastic aprons in case we stained our shirts, gave me another spoon without me having to ask, and overall provided great service. Food + service was a 10/10! My fav place to go now!!!“
“Great authentic Chinese food. We ordered yongping braised chicken, boiled fish filet in chili oil, and dali fried mushroom. All were much better than expected. Among the three, the chicken was the best; chewy but soft inside (there are huge chunk of ginger, be careful). The chicken can be bit salty, so I would recommend it with rice.Service was not exceptional, but good enough that we can enjoy the meal. The only downside would be the atmosphere. The building and furniture were outdated, and it would be much appealing to customers if they renovate the interior.Parking: Use the 2hr street parking in front of the building“
“I had a wonderful time at Mecha, the atmosphere is nice and the food was wonderful. I will definitely be coming back to try some more stuff. My partner and I ate the KFC and Pork Belly Bao buns, both were really good but I feel like the pork belly ones were worth the price more. We also ordered the red oil dumplings which had great flavor and they were filled to the brim with meat and shrimp. For drinks we ordered bobas, one Thai milk tea and one mango. The Thai milk tea was nice, can’t complain, the boba has amazing texture but not that much flavor in my opinion. The mango boba was very refreshing and I liked the fact that it had a bit of a sour taste to it. For the main course we had pho which we were blown away by. I got the Pho Sizzle with ribs and marrow oil. The original already comes with about 4 giant cubes of soft and delicious pieces of meat so adding more was a bit much on my part but the ribs were also very tasty. My favorite part was the broth. Amazing flavor, refreshing, light and great to have on a cold day. We had a great server, and the staff seemed very nice. My only complaint would be the seats, after sitting for a bit, they did become uncomfortable. But overall a great experience, can’t wait to stop by again soon.“
“Great curry here. The delivery fried tofu is no match for the one at the restaurant though. The last time I went in person it was so crisp and delicious and the one I had delivered felt like it was reheated from a fried tofu packet. Please bring back the crispy one it was so good!“
“I'd say I'm pretty selective when it comes to chicken dishes and this place has the best hainanese chicken around! Also moo deng dish is tasty. Thai green tea isn't bad. Unfortunately, not a fan of the pad thai. Decently sized restaurant but it always looked half empty from the outside.“
“The new hot spot for Sichuan food in BrooklineFood:For apps- Szechuan steamed homemade pork dumplings, wontons in chili oil, hot and sour soup, dan-dan noodlesFor entrees- MUST try the Szechuan hot sauce style with chicken, it just melts in your mouth and is packed with spice and flavorAlso recc the kung pao chickenWouldn't recc the diced chicken with chili pepper- it was too dry and mostly fried batterOther:Friendly staff, fast serviceFamilial touch to the ambianceTLDR;Come here for a satisfying authentic Sichuan meal in the Brookline area“
“Quick service! Friendly staff! Inside was decently spacious and had dimmer lighting. Got the beef noodle soup and the noodles were nice, soup not too spicy, the beef was very thinly sliced and tender, also had lots of daikon that soaked up all the flavor. Solid bowl of noodle soup“
“Decent ramen experience with good appetizers.Recently stopped by for a quick ramen meal. This new Allston location seemed like a less frequented outpost compared to their other locations, so the store was almost empty during my visit. For the appetizers, I got the Takoyaki Volcano and the Chicken karaage. The takoyaki dish bursted with flavors – the spicy mayo and scallions provided a tangy kick, while the fried toppings added a pleasing crunch. On the other hand, karaage was slightly underwhelming. While maintaining a juicy interior, it felt short with its batter not achieving a good level of crispiness. The Shio Ramen, a staple in any ramen joint, was also somewhat lackluster. The toppings were satisfactory, but the broth lacked the depth and richness that I was hoping for. While Hokkaido Santouka’s ramen might not top my list, their appetizers, particularly the Takoyaki Volcano, make it a spot worth visiting.“
“The restaurant is primarily known for their variety of rice noodle soups. While i enjoyed the food here, i felt that the food and experience here fell short of DAGU Rice Noodle which is only a couple minutes drive away and with similar items on their menu. The noodle soups that i had here were much saltier than Dagu but not as flavorful and aromatic. At Dagu, i wanted to keep drinking the soup but not so much here. Service was also a bit slow and the food took a while to come out. Parking: Easy street parking on same street as restaurant and side streets. Do not attempt to park at the mini parking lot behind the building of the restaurant. Your car will get towed (the parking is not for the restaurant).“
“Went here with some friends yesterday. It was a snowy day, and we were looking for a cozy place to get some nice Chinese food. I was recommended this place by a friend, so decided to give it a try. This place has absolutely amazing Chinese food that tastes homemade. we talked to the owner and she makes the food homemade every day, so nothing is stuck in a freezer for days on end. I think this made an incredible difference and how awesome our food tasted. Service and atmosphere felt like you were in somebody’s home being served food as a guest. Very cozy vibe and attentive service. The only thing is that it is a bit small, and I can’t see it seating more than eight people at a time.Highly recommend Wonton noodle soup was amazing along with their scallion pancake wraps. Honestly, you won’t go wrong with anything on their menu.Food - 17/20Service - 9/10Atmosphere - 6/10Total - 32/40“
“Delicious! Ordered the spicy pork (was able to ask for minimal spice, very kind of them to accomodate me), was ready in minutes — hearty portion, perfect for cold weather, noodles the especial standout for texture and freshness, but we all know broth is king. Small space appropriate for a solo guest or a date, but a space not much for decor — I can see why many people ordered delivery. Food top notch and people friendly; I’m sure Gene’s will have a bigger, prettier venue in the near future.“
“Best pad see ew ever here!! They truly have the best most authentic Thai food here. I’ve had everything, I especially love their shumaii, gyoza, drunken noodles, pad see ew, pad kee mao. Everything I’ve gotten here is delicious and flavorful. The portions are amazing for the price. I’ve had dinner with friends inside too, it’s really peaceful and calm they are attentive and put the food out quickly. I love this place and couldn’t recommend it more.“
“I've ordered from here quite a few times, always the same dish, Cashew Chicken. It's always pretty good, but the dish does seem to vary based on the day. Most recently I got it and there were a few chunks of pineapple in it, the dish was overly sweet with no hint of spice to it what-so-ever. Usually there's a bit of chili flavor and a zing of ginger, but this time it just tasted like soy sauce and pineapple juice, a little disappointing. Always quick service and friendly employees when I pick up takeout.Parking: There's some street parking, but you have to pay for it and they do monitor this street regularly and give tickets if you don't pay.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Quite a few steps to get into the restaurant.“
“There are not that many good restaurants in this food court anymore with pho viet, Kantin, and the Korean place (I don't remember what it was called but their kimbap was great) however this place still had an AMAZING bahn mi. They only offer the cold cut version but please trust me, it is the same satisfying as a bbq pork without it feeling heavy or overly sweet. Their cold cut banh mi is a great size, generous with the pate, fresh, and the bread is the perfect amount of chewy without it being soggy or too stale and stiff. The owners were very nice and gracious too! A great snack to munch on while your grocery shop or wait for the train. It is genuinely so tasty and feels good for your soul. Don't underestimate the cold cut banh mi !!!!!“
“Our family has been to this Wagamama several times, and it’s always great. Service is friendly (Angie L helped this time) and the food is always delicious. We are a bit boring and usually all get the same thing: edamame with chili salt and the chicken katsu curry (with extra sauce on the side). We’ve also been in the summer which is fun as you can sit outside and there are often street performers nearby.“
“This ramen house is just across the commons park. We came in the middle of afternoon where there is no customer but us. Their menu is online and you can order and also pay online. It’s easy and quick. The service is quick and good taste good. If you are looking for a good noodle soup you can try this place. I love my tonkatsu ramen. You can make it spicy or just ordinary.“
“This is a very small restaurant so seating is limited.Where i found lacking, was the service and the seating arrangements.I get we were there on a busy sunday night. But for Pho i felt like it took way too long.It was almost 45 mins. With hungry kids it was a little annoying...The other part was the way the door opens to the tables. I was very unconfortable cold during the time we went. The food itself was pretty good. The price was fair. But wasnt a WOW experience overall.Would still recommend to satisfy a PHO craving if in the area.“
“Unassuming restaurant with a sub basement entrance, though the somewhat shabby appearances are deceiving- the food selection and quality are both quite high. The pork green beans surprisingly had a kick to them, and the seafood tofu clay pot was perfect for the two us.“
“EASILY some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, for a fraction of what I’ve paid for worse food. As soon as I walked in I was like “it smells delicious in here.” The beef & broccoli was the best I’ve ever had. It’s a standard takeout dish, but unlike other places, this was actually beefy and savory, the broccoli was fresh with a nice bite to it, and the sauce wasn’t gluggy. The salt & pepper shrimp was umami, gingery and had all those peppery notes you hope for. It was also still crispy when I arrived home. I will definitely be back for their dim sum.“
“The most amazing ramen I have ever had! I loved it so much the broth was so rich bold and delicious. I went with family and we all loved our food. My mom lit up the moment she ate it. We had an amazing time. The waiters were very attentive and funny too. Had a delightful time.“
“Absolutely perfect ramen joint, me and my partner went twice and are planning on dining here many times from now! The food is absolutely fantastic and cooked in front of you, the service is amazing and the people working there have always been very kind and helpful. The decor is fantastic aswell with street art on the walls and good music playing in the background.10/10 would absolutely reccomend“
“It's a pretty solid Taiwanese food restaurant. We got their spicy chicken, chow foon, soup dumplings, fish and tofu stew, and a scallion pancake with beef. Everything was retwell made. The soup dumplings were really good. None of them came already punctured. The service was ok.“
“The food is amazing! We got everything extra spicy and it was good. They did a great job with the papaya salad that soaked up the sauce so well. We also got the chicken eggplant, pad se-ew, and tom yum noodle soup. Seating is limited but very comfortable. The waitress is super nice and so efficient especially when she had to manage all the takeouts as well.“
“I have ordered pad Thai from this restaurant over 50 times. Recommend topping with peanut sauce, lime, and chili flakes or sriracha sauce. The rest of the menu is hit or miss, so I highly recommend you try the pad thai before you try other dishes.“
