“This is our family go-to restaurant when we crave authentic spicy sichuan food. The portions are generous and price is reasonable. Many restaurant charges rice by the individual bowl. For my family this adds up to $10 just for rice. However Oxyear offers a large rice bowl at (i think) $2.50. The owner is so nice and often offers to refill for no additional charge. This is a hidden gem and I hope they will continue to do well.“

This was the best dumplings i’ve ever had and most creative options for dumplings!! they have soup dumplings, which were very unique and were absolutely delicious and fun to try. i had the pork soup dumplings and highly recommend them! their fried pork dumplings were also incredibly good and they have their own unique style as well with flaky crust that adds a slight crunch to the dumplings. “My husband and I stopped in for the first time today around 4:30pm. I’ll say I wasn’t expecting to see such a nice table layout. They have a nice dinning area, not too dark and the other side of the restaurant was divided for the tavern section to keep it private.Our waiter was very friendly taking our order and came around several times to check in on us.My husband had a coke and I always get a pot of tea. When the food came I was a tad disappointed that it’s the already prepared frozen type china blossom food. Peas in the rice. You know that they did doctor it up with roast pork, scrambled egg, and sprouts.Overall for the food was prepared very good for what it is.The chicken fingers crispy but soft inside, not oily. When I go to a Chinese restaurant I normally judge them by their crab Rangoons. It would be nice for a homemade type wrap over the already made Rangoons.The price was pretty decent for the combination plates we got. Maybe it was the time of day everything was pretty fresh. I will be back to try some other old favorites like Happy Family and lomein.“

“My book club meets at Shanghai Osaka frequently for our discussion. There is a large function room in the back which accommodates our group which can sometimes be more than 25 people. We are separated from the other patrons so we do not disturb them. The service has always been spectacular considering the size of our group. I usually get some kind of Lo Mein. The portion is generous in size & always comes out hot. Since there is only bottled beer, I usually treat myself to a MaiTai-yum-one is enough! The restaurant is tucked away in a corner with other businesses. There is plenty of parking.“

Since it was right on my route & right on the road I grew up on 40+ years ago, I decided to give it a shot. Placed the order on a Friday around 5:30pm, got the following: EGG ROLL CRAB RANGOON BEEF LO MEIN ORANGE FLAVORED BEEF GENERAL GAU CHICKEN Everything was very good to excellent! The ORANGE FLAVORED BEEF was about the best I've ever had from a take out joint. I think they said 30 minutes & I got there in 35-40 & it was actually ready. “It's so hard to find doughy pan fried dumplings if you can find them at all but they make them here! & they're bite size! I also like the fried won tons, egg rolls & battered chicken fingers. The service is always kind & pleasant. They have tables set up but I don't believe they have table service & there's no ambiance. But it works if you need to eat there. I always get take out. Remember to order extra duck sauce!“

“Fu Hing's is singularly the BEST Chinese food in the area, and I have had just about all of them from Newburyport to Boston. I have been desperate for decent takeout since I moved to Massachusetts from NYC, and most of what I've tried within a 40-minute drive from my house has been inedible. Fu Hing's is 8 minutes from me and everything they make is delicious. Special shout-out to their egg rolls, lo mein, and dumplings. I literally cannot believe how much better the food was than anywhere else in a 50 mile radius.“
