“Was not happy with this trip. I am likely to not go back. I use to go long time ago food was great but I got a plate it was done in 2 minutes. The food was dry like it was just plucked out of idk returned food or food that didn't go out. Didn't seem “
“I was seated promptly and it was busy for a Saturday night. I was in the mood for sweet and sour chicken and the rice is my go to. My dad has been bringing me the egg rolls from here since I was a child. It's nice that I can reminisce. I stayed in the dining room off the bar, the bar is usually lively with people. The red and blue seating is not my style but I'm not that in depth into the culture. I don't mind it, the food is definitely worth it.“
“This is our family go-to restaurant when we crave authentic spicy sichuan food. The portions are generous and price is reasonable. Many restaurant charges rice by the individual bowl. For my family this adds up to $10 just for rice. However Oxyear offers a large rice bowl at (i think) $2.50. The owner is so nice and often offers to refill for no additional charge. This is a hidden gem and I hope they will continue to do well.“
“Delicious dumplings! This was the best dumplings i’ve ever had and most creative options for dumplings!! they have soup dumplings, which were very unique and were absolutely delicious and fun to try. i had the pork soup dumplings and highly recommend them! their fried pork dumplings were also incredibly good and they have their own unique style as well with flaky crust that adds a slight crunch to the dumplings. Also highly recommend the pink tea pared with the meal. staff was very nice and meal service was great. plenty of seating, this is a hot spot in town and well known for their tasty dumplings!Parking: Paid street parking available“
“Great food, great service, polite friendly staff. The owner greets us every time we go in ,will sit and chat for a bit and help you find just what you are looking for to eat. His suggestions are always greatly appreciated and I make it a point to go 1x a month at least.Bartender is kind. Efficient and great drinks . ? welcome to LowellParking: They have both free parking on 1 side and parking garage access on the other.“
“POSITIVE: Good hot and sour soup. Good lunch options (food quantity and price). NEGATIVE: 1 person took our order, another person delivered the food to our table. No one came to check if everything was ok, or offer water refill. Kung Pao chicken was more sweet than spicy. Would not order again. Crab rangoon was overcooked and hard to eat. Went during a Saturday lunchtime. Very few customers until close to end of lunch special time. On-street parking, so limited by time of day and other business customers on the same street. It's a little "hole in the wall" place; easy to miss. In all fairness, I would try it once more to see if other dishes are better.“
“The vibe here is great, we love to go down Friday or Sunday night and sit at the bar. Always busy, get there by five if you want a seat. Tom makes the best drinks, martinis are fabulous, and he makes a mean Manhattan. Tap beer is ice-cold, salt and jalapeño pepper wings, and the maki are our favorites.“
“we have passed this little hole in the wall so many times until we tried it. Everything we order is excellent! I get the shrimp curry with veggies. Full of big shrimp and many vegetables. I always ask for the vegetables to be different from what they offer (tons of onions). every time, it comes just as I have asked.“
“Food is exceptional! Scallion pancakes & wings were very good, but the spicy braised beef w/ handmade noodle and braised pork belly w/ rice were amazing! We will definitely be returning to try out everything on the menu ?? Extra points for a very tasty brown sugar “
“Awesome local place. Consistently quick takeout. Or come sit at the bar for a drink and a Rangoon and a good time. One of the only lively places in Arlington ??♀️ They often have live music, and will let ya put whatever you want on the tv!“
“Staff was super friendly, food & cocktails were AMAZING!! The seafood delight & wings were very flavorful, but my favorite thing would have to be the Mai Tai flight . The drinks are a bit on the stronger side which is a plus of course! It was my first time coming to MeiWei & I definitely will be coming back very soon with friends“
“We love it here. The food is so authentic and spicy. It takes your tastebuds to a whole new place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. It’s truly a gem here, and the authentic nature here makes you appreciate their culture. Also, the Mai Tai is wonderful and the price is reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. The restaurant is huge, and we only had to wait once on Chinese New Year. We get the Spicy Jumbo Shrimp, Sweet and Sour Picked Radish and the Smoked Pork with green pepper. You must give this place a try if you keep an open mind, and truly want authentic cuisine. It’s simply the best! Thank you.“
“So good. Like going into Chinatown but with parking and good service ?2024 Update: This restaurant has been under new management (I believe it was sold to the previous owners god children) for a while now. Against all odds and expectations, it has gone from a really good spot to an even better, great restaurant. They have updated the menus, leaning harder into the authentic dishes that had set them apart, and brought an exciting energy. It's always bustling but never overwhelming. Welcoming and warm. It's so fun to watch old dishes that I loved get even better (ex. 3 cup tofu eggplant now has a smokey aspect that I didn't know I was missing) and to see the new owners make their mark. Thanks for bringing your passion, we are so proud of you and I am sure your god parents are too!“
“This place has good food! You can get a combination plate and choose your own appetizers. There was good ambience in there. I ordered for pick up but I saw some patrons dining in. Looks like a pretty chill place. Quiet vibes! Pleasant atmosphere! Fast and friendly service!“
“This is a special place. Very friendly and welcoming people. Best Peking Ravioli by a long shot over anywhere else in town. Full of flavor and the dipping sauce has spices added that make it a great accompaniment. Not just the same stuff others offer. Soups full of fresh vegetables and tasty broth. No choice for me anymore. Best in town.“
“Went here 2/29 for the first time, Wendy and Kait were absolutely amazing, attentive, kind and quick! The food was hot, fresh and had amazing presentation! Drinks were fantastic and the pricing is beyond reasonable! We will be back ASAP! HIGHLY RECOMMEND both their Chinese food and Japanese food, sushi, egg rolls and lo mein were incredible! Back here now on 3/6 for more sushi, drinks and food! The staff is amazing! The food is amazing and we are definitely going to be regular customers! Congratulations on the new staple of the town! This place is awesome and right on the water!!!“
“Just ordered luncheons Sushi fresh and delicious with a generous amount of sushi, miso soup and a salad. Also got luncheon with chow Mein came with wonton soup and crab Rangoon. Veggies were crunchy and light, fried rice was fresh. Good value and considerately packaged. Very fresh. Highly recommend this place.“
“THIS RESTAURANT IS SO DELICIOUS!!! Everything one the menu is cooked to perfection, served hot with a smile. The staff are very friendly and their menu items are authentic. I am obsessed with their chicken teriyaki appetizer and the happy family entree. Everything that I have ordered has been superb.“
“The place has more young college age people than I expect for a traditional Chinese restaurant. Interior design looks more like an American than an Asian restaurant. Food is good but pricy. I did like their river eel dish that is difficult to get from Asian restaurants, where I usually get sea eels. Overall the food is moderately spicy so most people that have tried Chinese spicy food will be able to enjoy.“
“We ordered takeout a few times here, and it has been very consistent. Recently I was on the hunt for creamy, crispy, savory crab rangoon, and my husband wanted fried rice - I was not disappointed by their crab rangoon! We also reheated the leftover house fried rice a few days later, and the aroma of the wok through the rice was delicious and comforting.“
“Great place, fantastic food. Great portions for the price too! Super friendly staff, had a great chat with the owner while I stopped by! Thanks Shuu!!Vegetarian options: My sister had me pick her up a veggie dish and she loved it.Kid-friendliness: Great food, great staff. Definitely kid friendly.Parking: Plenty of parking, free parkingWheelchair accessibility: Nothing stopping a wheelchair from going in!“
“By far the only true authentic Chinese food in the Acton area. If you see my other reviews you will see there really isn’t anywhere close that offers authentic cooking. Well tonight we finally found a place. Everything was delicious and served with a smile. Price was reasonable for the amount of food we got. I can see me saving a lot of gas on not going to Chinatown every time we want to eat out.“
“Decent food but the name is wild. Any time I suggest this place I get laughed at by friends and family. They have great chicken teriyaki on the stick but their crab rangoon are below average. They need more special rolls as well, not enough cooked options.“
“I've been in Chelmsford almost 5 years and never knew about this place. We passed by and saw the sign and my husband decided to order. The food Tastes great. Nice and fresh. They are very friendly and nice clean place. I recommend this place and from now on this will be our go to for Chinese takeout!❤️?“
“Best Chinese food in the area. I always get the combination plates and add extra crab Rangoon because they have the best crab Rangoon I ever had in my life. My food is always fresh and they never have gotten my order wrong not once. The duck sauce is really good. Been coming here for years.“
“The buffet is killer. It's a lunch buffet. Lots and lots of choices. Somewhat, I think, or authentic Chinese choices as well. It was packed when we got there and food was still fresh and hot. I will add, it's two dollars cheaper here than it is in the Burlington restaurant. What gives with that?“
“Wonderful staff! Our chef was entertaining and skillful. Food was perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is fun and friendly.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free meal was prepared separately in the kitchen and brought out when everyone else was being served. Thank you!“
“Been living in a flyover state & have not been able to find even passable Polynesian style Chinese food. This was the 2nd most recommended place for me to try in the area. Since it was right on my route & right on the road I grew up on 40+ years ago, I decided to give it a shot. Placed the order on a Friday around 5:30pm, got the following: EGG ROLL CRAB RANGOON BEEF LO MEIN ORANGE FLAVORED BEEF GENERAL GAU CHICKEN Everything was very good to excellent! The ORANGE FLAVORED BEEF was about the best I've ever had from a take out joint. I think they said 30 minutes & I got there in 35-40 & it was actually ready. Next time I'm out that way, I will definitely stop here again! Posted a new menu, 11/2023“
“The reviews are true! I came. I saw, I tasted.I haven't had chinese food since my clubbing days (I know Jesus now ), but this place was great ?The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious ? Easy location to get to with street parking. The restaurant is very small, two tables with chairs. Maybe that's why they get a lot of takeout orders.Vegetarian options: Spring and egg rolls, scallion pancakes, vegetable lo mein, vegetable egg foo yung.Parking: Street parking.“
“Quick service, but they have you use the iPads to order food - which apparently charges $0.99 to order via that specific app. I realized that when I went back to the counter to grab a drink. The house noodle was really good, but slightly salty.Wish they had more on their menu to try though.“
“I am not a huge Chinese food fan yet the food was surprisingly good. You get a good amount of food for the price which is also nice. The server, Jen, was very friendly and attentive. The space is not modern and could us some updating. Overall a good experience.“
“In my opinion Lee Chen has the best Chinese cuisine on the east coast. No, I don't own the place. I was introduced by an in-law to Lee Chen 18 years ago and have been going back weekly every since. The dining room eat in experience is as close to 5 star service as a small Chinese restaurant can be with very attentive and friendly staff and food that is cooked to order served hot and is consistently delicious. The take out is also a wonderful experience for your taste buds, I highly recommend Lee Chen anytime your tongue gets a craving for some REALLY GOOD Chinese food!“
“Food: 10/10Customer service (takeout): 10/10I got the beef pho and crab rangoon. Both delicious, and the fact they’re open late even on weekdays is wonderful. I was under the weather and needed a good soup. This didn’t disappoint. I will definitely be back.“
“Best Chinese food ever in Boston area so glad I live in the center go here all my life over 15-20 years never disappoint white rice and lobster sauce is amazing sesame chicken the best crab Rangoons Peking raviolis basically everything on the menu can’t go wrong prices are really cheap good “
“Best food ever!!!!! My husband is from Lexington and we live in California. Getting food from Changhai is the best part of our yearly trip. Everything we've tried is amazing and I would give my entire life savings for them to open a location in the Bay Area.“
“Great food , great staff. Easy and Fast. Just the way we Americans like it. The perfect quick stop no hassle Chinese take-out restauraunt. Grab some for your family on the way home from work. Only five minutes from the Montvale Avenue exit....just past Leonard field on Washington Street. Only drawback is parking, but you can park around the corner on Harvard Street....or one of the side streeets across the street up on the hill. There's a couple of spots up front. (Can be a bit tricky to back in and out of during rush hour). - Other than that. Its an awesome place. If you order for new years be prepared, they require pre ordering and they cut it off at a particular time when they get too many orders. You have to order a day or so in advance, for new years, and pick it up on new years.“
“Second time here. If you order wings and want them crispy get the salt & pepper wings. Kung Pao is incredible as is the Crab Rangoon. Fried rice amazing. Kung Pao is spicy as it should be. Great Spring rolls. Sweet servers, Ding Ding was great. The best Chinese food around here for sure.“
“Good food, decent prices and good service. Went here few weeks back to meet up with friends so we were a group of 7 people. Initially we sat at one of the long tables but soon after everyone arrived they gave us one of the round tables with the lazy susan rotating center. We ordered a bunch of dishes - kung pao chicken, MaPo tofu, a lamb dish that came in a pot, beef dish, squash dish, a green leafy vegetable dish, and a couple other dishes none in total plus steamed white rice and green tea. There was a lot of food and it was all very good and tasty. Meats were tender and flavorful. We were quite satisfied and full with all the food! We also got some leftovers to bring home lol! Parking was easy as they have parking. Also was easy to find this place not too hard. Will come here again if we're in the area.“
“I have never had any issues regarding service or food at pacific grove the food is delicious and staff and very friendly. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is due to the fact that on a couple of occasions, the other patrons can get a little too rowdy for my taste, and some have even got confrontational. However, this again isn't due to lack of service from the establishment, but due to lack of judgment from other patrons on how much they can drink.“
“The food was great but the service and atmosphere is seriously lacking. We went on Fridays nights at dinner time twice and they clearly are doing to much takeout business to care about their dinner in guests. I won't return for dine in unless it's to try the lunch specials.“
“Very happy with this place. Had multiple sushi dishes, all excellent. Lo mein is also great. Hot and sour soup is the best in Andover. Draft beer is a bit pricey, though ($9 for a Sam Adams Cold Snap) and the Kung Pao has waaaaaaay too much celery. Service is top notch and the interior is friendly and inviting. Lots of TVs if you want to watch a game. Prices are reasonable for downtown Andover“
“It's so hard to find doughy pan fried dumplings if you can find them at all but they make them here! & they're bite size! I also like the fried won tons, egg rolls & battered chicken fingers. The service is always kind & pleasant. They have tables set up but I don't believe they have table service & there's no ambiance. But it works if you need to eat there. I always get take out. Remember to order extra duck sauce!“
“My friends and I a fairly regular customers and whenever we go there for dinner the owner makes it a point to come out and greet us. Even if we haven't been there in some time the owner remembers what we ordered the last time. The food is reasonably priced and always good.“
“Good and tasty pho, it wasn’t really really flavorful but it’s better than most places. It’s clean places one of the most important thing for me . Servers was nice and they had professional uniform. I also ordered lo mein, you usually don’t expect good lo mein from Vietnamese restaurants but this one was good as well. Lo mein was not big portions .“
“This place has a pleasant, quiet atmosphere and the service is great. They have great hot sour and miso soup, bento boxes, noodle dishes, and sushi. I usually have a bento box with sushi. I have been coming here with friends for lunch between classes.Parking: There is street parking where you pay by app, and the Leo A. Roy parking garage is steps away.“
“This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant since moving to this area of the Merrimack valley, bar none. The portions are incredibly generous. I love how it all tastes. I will say this is 'heavier' Chinese food, for lack of a better phrase; it is very filling, which I appreciate. Teatone has set a standard for me that I've found hard to match with other Chinese restaurants, especially comparing their portion size and value.“
“Food is great! Family style and they offer hot pot. I love that the waitress takes time to explain menu if you have any questions. Drinks are great! Nothing fancy about the location inside there is a bar in the front and restaurant seating on the side. Will be back here again.“
