“It was my first time visiting “Antojitos”. I had the “3 golpes” breakfast and a “morir soñado” juice! Perfection! I originally ordered for pick-up. However, decided to dine-in instead, due to the sweet and welcoming staff. The place is cozy and meticulously clean. I loved it here!Parking: Metered street parking, depending on the day. Also, 15 min street parking and/or free street parking available, again depending on the day.Kid-friendliness: It’s a family environment. Kids are definitely welcomed!“
“Food portions are generous, service is impeccable, staff creates a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Peek times expect a wait but it is worth it. May even catch April herself enjoying a meal with her family. The food has a quality you can only get from a small family owned buissness. Every one has a smile from the moment you are greeted at the door, the waitstaff, food runners, all give service with a smile.“
“The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. You know the food is good when someone's aunty is in the back bringing out the large vats of saucy stewed meats and freshly fried pastelitos. It is a no frills place, so the ingredients shine through. Music is pretty loud in there so you have to raise your voice a little to order but that's always okay.“
“Saw a few friends on my IG that went here so I knew I had to give it a try! 20 minutes drive from where I live which is not bad at all. First immediate reaction was wow this place looks clean and well organized. The staff was super nice. The customers were all happy so you knew the food must be food. There was a lot to choose from which I loved! I was excited to see that they had bacalao available. It's a salted cod fish dish. We ended up sharing a oxtail entree and a small order of their spaghetti.Food - 4/5! Definitely loved the oxtail entree because it was only $24 and the portion was enough to feed 2 people! So I'm glad we shared. A lot of places skimp on their portion when it comes to oxtails. Oxtails are really expensive now! The spaghetti was pretty good. But... the bacalao. The bacalao was not so good... I was a little disappointed. It was lacking flavor. I'm used to it being more salty and a hint of vinegar. Maybe I had a bad batch .Overall, this place is a gem. Their lunch menu option is pretty good and it's only $12. Each entree comes with a side salad which I love. Price is excellent for the amount of food they give. Highly recommend trying this place. I will definitely come back.“
“So this place gets busy fast and only has 4 or 5 small tables inside so most people take their food to go, like I did. My oxtail and rice and beans was amazing. I also got ripe sweet plantain. My present to myself. Tender, not fall off the bone, but close. The rice was not mushy and everything was flavorful. I had to travel to get there and it was worth it. I was bummed they did not have the pigeon peas with rice and peas, but everything was really good. They have so much more to offer and everything smelled good. Worth the money, and the wait in line.“
“This was a small place with great food that feeds the surrounding communities for very low cost. It has gotten a little bigger now, with a larger dinning area and beer and wine are also available now. The food is always delicious and cultural. I hope they end up expanding the whole block!!“
“Este lugar tiene una comida de buena calidad.la comida tiene buen sabor. Yo definitivamente recomiendo este lugar. Son muy amables y te atienden muy bien. This place is amazing the workers are so friendly and the food forget about it. I have tried so many Dominican spots and some are either missing seasoning or have too much, but this place has the right amount. The shrimp mofongo with pork was delicious. And the carne guisada was unbelievably good. I def recommend them and I will def be coming back.“
“I am a fan of their res ( stew beef) , habichuela (beans) and arroz (rice ) ? they use to give good portions but things have changed , it’s 2022 now and prices are up but it’s worth it still . It ain’t that expensive. It’s enough to feed two if your ordering a plate for $18“
“Ive used them twice for our division meetings and I’ll definitely recommend. Seila is very helpful and accommodating when I put in my order. They deliver on time and help with the placement of the pans. Everything is well packaged and easy to unwrap. The food is fresh and delicious!!“
“I had heard about this place for years but never made time for it, which I regret! The food was absolutely amazing. It exceeded my expectations based even on great reviews. The roast chicken was moist and flavorful throughout, without being greasy. The yucca was so good--it looked plain but the soft texture and subtle flavor was so good. As far as service, everyone was very nice and crucially didn't make fun of the bad Spanish I used to order. On my short list now for excellent Boston under the radar food spots.“
“The flavors are GREAT, and you can smell the amazing food from across the block. This business has maintained its standards throughout the difficult pandemic; they haven't changed a single ingredient. I've lived all over Boston, but I always come back to C-Road and stop here. The staff at Restaurant De Calidad is incredibly kind and makes sure you have everything you need and want.“
“I've only tried the empanadas so far, but I don't need to try anything else to know this place is great. They taste amazing. The edges are crunchy while the center is nice and soft. The best part of the empanadas though is that they feel oily at all, so you wont regret eating multiple.“
“Great Dominican Food! It’s generous portions and fresh. Staff are very friendly and accommodating (For English Speakers, there might be a language barrier, they speak mostly Spanish depending who’s there.) Only issue I have is please set up a menu with firm prices, whenever I go there sometimes prices fluctuate and it can be a bit deceiving at times to the customer. But, overall I do recommend for anyone trying to try Dominican food and looking for good portions in a inflated economy for food prices. Also, PLZZ PUT CHICHARRÓN CON YUCA OUT MORE OFTEN, it’s good but y’all run outttt :(Parking: Good amount of parking there, just be careful you aren’t parked where the residents for Charlestown are.“
“I am sick with a head cold, all i wanted to eat was some chicken soup. I went to this place for the first time and the variety of food they have is amazing! I got chicken soup, white rice, and lime. The bomb!!!!! Customer service is an A+ :)“
“This place is a true gem ? for authentic Dominican food. The staff, every single one, has always greeted & treated me welcoming, respectfully and attentive. ("Son todas una chuleria"). The food tastes like you just cooked everything in your own kitchen and the portions are generously huge. I won't go anywhere else for Caribbean food. I highly recommend this restaurant for the whole family.“
“My son and I go there a lot. Food, Service and prices are all amazing! The young woman at the front deserves a raise and much more. I've seen a couple of people being mean to her. She's doing her job. What more do you want from her? Gracias!“
“We LOVE the food here!!!! Everything is always delicious and it's freshly made! The servers are always so nice and they are super friendly. If you don't like loud environments this might not be the place for you as they always have loud music playing but it's always good! Parking around the area is always easy as well. We always find parking around the corner.“
“I visited the Jamaica Plain location. I've been coming to this location for years. I haven't been in a while and noticed that this establishment moved a few doors up the street. This new location provided more space than the previous location. It was clean and the staff were friendly. I called ahead to order as there usually is a wait while the food is prepared. Upon my arrival, I noticed this establishment had adopted the food warmers similar to the Dorchester location. I was pleased that calling ahead paid off and my empanada was made fresh. I love this place!“
“Stopped here to get some empanada. 2 chicken 2 beef. One of my beef empanada was empty because it opened while frying. Went back and they have me another with no problem. They have a good option of food at a decent price. Great drink options and a few dessert options too.“
“Great location for real deal dominican food in Lynn. Lunch prices cant be beat and thenportion sizes are generous. Try everything, but my favorites are the roast pork (pernil), the fried pork chops, and the platonos. They have a small parking lot as well just down the block.“
“There aren't many places around Boston where you can get yaroa, so when I found it on their menu, I had to give it a try. Yaroa is like Dominican Poutine, but instead of gravy it's covered in ketchup and mayo. Different places do different versions of yaroa, I'm partial to the mashed maduros/sweet plantains and fries combo, but this place does fries and large strips of maduros. The fries were not good and combined with the strips of maduro, they made the yaroa dry. It wasn't for me, but the portion was huge with generous amounts of pork. We also ordered the pork chimi which was really nice. And for the price, I was surprised the sandwich came with fries, it's a good deal despite the fries not being even mid fries. The quipes were kind of spicy, which I'm not used to but had a good amount of ground beef filling and were otherwise tasty. The food was fresh and really generous portions. They packed the food well and presentation was nice. They also included tons of mayo ketchup. I'm going to be generous with my review and round the 3.5 up to a 4. Better fries and a few tweaks would make this place incredible.“
“They were nice even if driver wasn't polite enough to left msg that food had arrived neither the app . But this is about the food and that was good even if turnovers looked kind of pale, had kind of a sauce situation that wasn't exactly nice since I like the filling to be not dried but not extra juicy neither. Liked that Dough was crunchy and tasty. Filling had a nice flavor also. It's why I rate it 4 in gral was good just for me an extra minute will have let it on perfect color in the outside and maybe less juicy in the inside. Delivery was mostly what expected as I said just need it the heads up to pick it up as delivered .“
“Stopped by today. Place is remodeled and clean. They have a few rice options, few meat options, bacalao, empanadas, plantations and cassava ready to go. I ordered a rice and beef plate, empanadas and a side of another rice. Everything was pretty good. Parking on side streets.“
“so extremely delicious!!!! very friendly and helpful worker. I would recommend asking what they are serving that day and for their recommendations, as they may offer only specific things from the menu. I ended up getting oxtail stew, and my friend got pork chops with onions and they were some of the best things I've eaten in Boston in my 5 years living here.“
“FOOD TASTE?: N?T badN?T great either.PRICEY?:?10 including taxes, for a small order of white rice? and 3 very little pieces of chicken. ?CLEAN & SAFE:The place is ALWAYS very clean. The tables are far apart enough to eat? safely without a mask.?RELAXING & ENTERTAINING:Wall mounted big T.Vs? in front of all tables to watch sports??? and movies??? while dinning?“
“Solid cuban sandwich, good flavors and nicely toasted and well packed A bit on the smaller side but not too expensiveInside is very small so there's not much space inside to wait for the order, and it takes a bit There are a few chairs and tables outside though“
“Amazed at this place, the great quality of the food and the congenial attitude of the wait staff. Special thanks to Kiki, Ryan, Alexandra and Leon for helping to make Antique Table in Lynn our go to place for our romantic date nights. We love you“
“I haven’t eaten much Dominican food, but I thought it was a delicious ham and cheese sandwich on that amazing crispy and flaky Latin American bread. One sandwich is also big enough to split between two people unless you are starving.Desserts -flan, tres leches, looked good though I didn’t get any.“
“Yummmmmm!!! Be prepared for a communication barrier. They mostly only speak Spanish. And Dominican Spanish and Puerto Rican Spanish is very fast. So very difficult to comprehend and it's hard for them to be able to understand your Spanish if you're American and Spanish is your second language. Doesn't matter though, so Taste of the food in the quality of the food is what's important. You pay by the pound“
“This was childhood memories in a bite of delicious food. The pizza, ham & cheese, chicken & cheese empanadas were huge & filling. The croquetas de pollo were almost as good as my Abuela's. They also had bollitos de yuca which were to die for. The service was quick and efficient and the ambience was homey & welcoming.“
“BEST EMPANADAS EVER. I have never had a food that has made me feel so happy and content with my life. Especially the beef and beef and cheese empanadas. They are HUGE too. And the sauce that it comes with (for free) is the perfect touch to the most perfect meal. HOLY COW SO PERFECT SO AMAZING SO BEAUTIFUL. Everyone should order from here. Best. Restaurant. Ever. 100/10 review, If I could give more stars I would. These empanadas broke the scale.“
