First time to Beacons. Solid pub fare with a slight upward twist (Crab Cake Sandwich with Chorizo). Server was great. A trifle slow, not sure why. Very loud and energetic - quiet conversation was difficult. Overall very good.

Sat at the bar and had dinner. Typically you receive good service at the bar but not the case on this night. Never offered water and had to flag down anytime someone needed a refill. It wasn't that crowded to have such poor service.

Easter brunch was reminiscent of school cafeteria food. Eggs were tasteless and the salmon was inedible. The steak was fresh out of a massed produced cardboard box. Low quality food all around.

Honestly I'm not sure I would come back for a holiday. The food was very good and the options were nice for Easter Brunch, however, there were issues with the service. If you're going to use the space upstairs, it still needs to feel like a proper dining room. The tables were cheap folding tables and had no place settings or water glasses. It took over 25 minutes to even get seated even with a reservation, then another 25 min to get drinks on the table. Two people in our group were told that you “didn't have that upstairs” when they ordered drinks. Just because the bar upstairs didn't have as complete of a set up as the main bar, that shouldn't matter. We never had anyone coming to refill water, nor was water given to everyone at the table. The service was sloppy and didn't make us feel like we were taken care of. I understand with a buffet it's a little different, but when we're paying $45 a plate, good service should come with it.

We booked a rehearsal dinner here. Food and service were great. As a former function manager, the head chef was very unprofessional. He should not be the main point of contact to book a function. My mother in law sent a cc for deposit information months in advance to which she received no response. Since she was in charge of the rehearsal dinner I did not check back in until closer to the date. I emailed John to confirm the menu to which his response was "You never sent a deposit" etc. all using accusatory words. I immediately sent over the email my mother in law forwarded me with the deposit information she sent 5 months prior to which she received no response. Had I known there was no response I would have called sooner. I called after John's email and spoke to Eric who was a great help. All was fixed and went well, but please have another point of contact for functions who is equipped to speak with the general public. There were so many ways to go about speaking with the bride and John's approach was not one of them.

Our waitress Kristy was pleasant, efficient and very friendly. She had us laughing throughout the night. Came back to check on us several times, we were not just another table. This is my 2nd visit here and the food is delicious, taste and presentation have been great. I look forward to my next visit

We enjoyed our dinner and time in the restaurant. However, we Couldn't but notice that prices have skyrocketed. Not sure what is happening but definitely we will be open to try other places as good as Becons and with not so high prices.
Great place for a beer and a pizza, fish and chips, or a perfectly cooked steak.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday than Beacons! The service and accommodations were absolutely top notch, and the rave reviews about the food poured in from our guests. Plus, the handicap accessibility, private bar, and bathrooms made everything convenient for everyone. I highly recommend this restaurant for any dining experience or special event - it was truly unforgettable!

We love it here as well as our teenage daughters. They have been ordering the petite filets lately and finishing the entire plate. Even my 13 year, who normally will only eat half of a burger will finish both filets. It's always loud and lively here on a Friday or Saturday night.

Been a loyal patron of Beacons since they opened. Always experienced excellent customer service, especially towards my two young daughters. Last night was different. The manager (man with untucked dress shirt and sports coat) essentially pushed a family of 6 out to seat a family of 8. They literally were moving chairs and tables while the mom of the family of 6 was still finishing her wine (not to mention that it was her 40th birthday). We actually knew that family and had recommended that they try Beacons, as it has been one of our favorites. Needless to say, we regret our decision to recommend it, as the attitude this manager displayed towards this family in addition to the rudeness in pushing them out of the restaurant prior to truly being finished was shocking. Extremely disappointed with the abhorrent lack of customer service. As patrons who have consistently supported this restaurant, including during COVID shutdowns, we are seriously considering not returning.
