“Funky "rest stop" on the way west ( or east). Nicest folks with great treats in the cafe. You can get lost for hours perusing the wares in their retail spaces, too.”
“As usual, when you want to indulge in large quantities of legal stimulants and have an affinity for mixing Americanized French food items with American breakfast staples, Dunking is your go to place.Getting your morning fix at Dunkin is akin to having your cake and eating it too. What does the opposite mean, really. Why have cake you can’t eat? Who wrote that nonsense?”
“Finally got to try the food here and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and professional and made me a delicious steak and cheese sandwich which I made short work of. Parking is convenient just off the street or in the parking lot across the road. I am looking forward to going back again soon!”
“This is a fantastic local diner with a wonderful family/community atmosphere. I have never had a bad meal here and have always enjoyed listening to the local chatter going on all around me. They always have interesting and hearty specials that are so good ?!!”
“Where do I begin this review about such a great place? Let’s start with the gracious and welcoming owners, Leslie and Paul Cameron. On our visit there, we were greeted at the door by Paul as he welcomed us to his establishment. Our group immediately felt at home and knew this was going to be a good choice to indulge in some fine libation. Inside the taproom area you will feel the coziness of the New England style décor and design from the live edge maple bar and table tops to the post and beam construction. The tap list was a nice mix of stouts, porters, red ales and IPA’s which were served nice and cold, just the way I like my beers. We enjoyed all of our choices and would not hesitate to order again in the future. Live music was provided by a husband and wife duo singing popular songs that everyone could sing along too. They strongly encouraged we sing along and we may have surprised them with some of the songs that we could sing with them word for word. For those of you who may not be beer drinkers, fear not. Paul and Leslie also make delicious award winning wine in the refurbished 200+ year old barn next to the taproom. Leslie gave us a tour of the wine barn and I must say, what an impressive job they did with it. Inside the barn, you will quickly appreciate all the hard work that went into this place. Upon entry at the ground level, you will find a wide variety of bottled wines, cheeses and chocolates to purchase. The second floor follows around the inside perimeter of the barn with many tables, chairs and other cozy places to sit. A beautiful hand crafted bar can be found where all the wine tastings take place. The third floor is in the middle of the barn and follows the center line of the roof peak. It is an open floor design and both side of the second floor can be viewed from the third. All three floors are tastefully decorated keeping with the traditional New England style and further enhances the warmth and coziness of all the hard work Leslie and Paul have devoted to their business. On warmer days, there is ample outdoor seating with multiple fire pit locations to enjoy your drink and snacks in the fresh outdoor air. It was a bit chilly on the day of our visit, but we cannot wait to make a return trip on a warmer day for more enjoyment of the good company and drinks found at the Back Room Brewery. We will certainly be spreading the good word to many of our other friends to join us on the next trip. See you then and cheers!!!”
“Our family has visited twice now for our holiday get together, and I can't exaggerate how accommodating they've been. There are 20 of us altogether, including kids aged 2 to 14. Not only is this a beautiful venue with plenty of space, but they've always extended themselves to make us feel welcome. They've provided blankets so we can enjoy the fire on the patio, taken our family's picture, extended tables for serving food, and the beer and service are phenomenal. Thank you so much for your kindness, for giving us this beautiful space to celebrate with our loved ones, and for being such wonderful hosts. We will be back!”
“Love their coffee so much! The Hotel Sync did right by choosing this companies coffee to serve to their guests! Guests absolutely love this coffee and can’t say anything but great things about the Moka Sumatra and The Ring Of Fire (my favorite btw!) I always order the 5lb bag! Just got my order today! Fast shipping and roasts immediately after order! Thank you Preetesh (owner of The Hotel Sync) as well as Deans Beans! I also ordered a bunch to send to Las Vegas and Hawaii over the holidays!”
“As a former Memphis guy and KCBS Certified judge.. I can say, while Texas BBQ, it is truly the best BBQ I've had in the North, not just New England. The servers work as a tandem helping each other, and I've only seen that at this level at Houston's... Google it. Met the owner, who is very kind and I formative. Wait staff are amazing and attentive. Brisket was competitive level great. Chicken thigh was very tender, beans were great, Mac and cheese was good.. but the atmosphere was authentic and enjoyable. I will be back.”
“If you're looking for a wonderful place to meet and share good times with an awesome community of folks, this is your spot. There's a great beer and drink selection, free pool on Wednesdays, music on weekends, delicious member- hosted dinners. It's the closest thing I know of to an honest-to-God pub - a gathering place and cultural hub for rural folks - in the US. Especially for those of us living up on the Hill in the North Quabbin area, it's the place to be.”
“Amazing brewery. I'd recommend this place just off route 2 when traveling. The bartender was a class act and made the experience that much better. The beer is excellent, I even had more later that night at a place in Greenfield. The vibe was great with good music and a good atmosphere. Not busy but my wife and I don't care about that usually, plus it was a Wednesday night. Heavy recommend.”
“Gill Tavern exceeded all expectations with its impeccable service and delectable food. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, creating a delightful atmosphere. The attentiveness of the waitstaff was remarkable; they were quick to offer recommendations and cater to our preferences. As for the food, each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The menu boasted a diverse selection, and every item we ordered showcased the chef's skill and creativity. Fresh, high-quality ingredients were evident in every bite. The flavors were well-balanced, and presentation was artful. What truly stood out was the seamless coordination between the kitchen and the serving staff. Our meals arrived promptly, and the timing between courses was impeccable. It was evident that the team at Gill Tavern prioritizes both the quality of the dining experience and the satisfaction of their patrons. In conclusion, Gill Tavern is a hidden gem that combines exceptional service with a gastronomic journey. A visit to this establishment is not just a meal; it's a memorable experience that leaves a lasting impression.”
“amazing wines, service and atmosphere!! a great getaway with perfect wines to indulge with!!;) The owners are very knowledgeable and accommodating!! we will definitely be back♡♡♡”
“We love this place, everytime we are in the area we stop by. Food is incredible, service is wonderful. The decor is clean, pretty and comfortable. Thank you Whistle Stop we love you!”
“I’m from Connecticut and this was well worth the drive. These people were some of friendliness people I’ve ever met. I look forward to heading up there again. Everything about this place was awesome.”
“We were looking for a different place to have a bite for dinner. When we arrived we had a large selection of seating. We chose to sit away from the front door in a room off to the side. The waitress was clearly covering multiple rooms and areas. She was excellent with multitasking. We ordered... I had the burger with jalapeños and cheese with onion petals, my husband ordered the bleu cheese burger with fries and my daughter ordered the scallops with house salad. Everything was good. The bleu burger was LOADED with blue cheese. I ordered a Seabreeze but they had no grapefruit juice so the waitress made a capecodder with grapefruit vodka and sparkling water and it was very good-she created a very good drink! While being served the restaurant became very busy - people at every table and the bar was full. Over all our meal was very good. Service was excellent.”
“Pizza Factory in Orange is not your average pizza house. The menu has everything you could ever want for a meal. They do take out, delivery, and catering. I have been going here to eat since Paul first opened and I have NEVER had a bad meal. Pizza Factory catered a party for me with 65 people and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Portions were more than enough and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. I can’t say enough good things about this local family owned business!”
“Element Brewing is a terrific little Micro-brewery. They have a great selection of traditional and "less traditional" beers...All of which are amazing. 10/10!”
“This is one of my go to places. I like the food and the atmosphere. There are lots of regulars there. They have raffles on Thursday evenings. It's a fun place to go IMHO.”
“Good pizza and sandwiches, nice staff, but the calzones are the reason for 5 stars. A crispy melty layer of mozzarella on top of the calzone makes it to die for... call yourself in a large steak special calzone and thank me later!”
“Menu is diverse - from sandwiches to full entrees. The reuben was amazing and bartender Jamie was super personable. Got this great photo in the parking lot. We'll be back!”
“The Lady Killigrew Cafe offers a serene escape with its beautiful waterfall backdrop, perfect for lazy afternoons or relaxed Sundays. While the food simple, the quality ingredients shine through, making it a pleasant stop for a casual bite.”
“For a small roadside eatery, the wings and fries are awesome! No atmosphere other than the great outdoors but the food is great. They also have a large selection of ice cream treats but we did not partake as it was a balmy 45° or so....”
“Everything is great, I've come almost every year with my family for 7 years, always good service, always good food, and always the best service because they go above and beyond to make you happy, love the restaurant 20/10.Dietary restrictions: They just don't give you what you don't want.Parking: IS GOODKid-friendliness: I am a 16 year old and I love itWheelchair accessibility: Theres a ramp”
“I was in fuel side. To me Duncan's sandwiches have gone down in quality and up in price... try not to stop there.. I'm impressed with gas station side. Friendly and funny cashier and fuel prices are very competitive.”
“Hot chocolate taste delicious better than I remember amazing service and friendly atmosphere always a pleasure to be there definitely 10/10 recommend for a nice chill spot”
“It's all right. It's Mickey D's. It's neither a good one, nor a bad one, so to speak. It is just a normal one. It gets 3.5 Stars just for serving up those crazy world famous fries. I'm not going there right now because of this, but I probably will soon. I drive by there quite often. The prices kind of get on my nerves but that's not really the fault of anyone present there, that's a deal with ownership and franchise and corporate and all that. The management I feel would be useful in other jobs as well because they do an enormously high-energy, demanding management job all day and what employer isn't seeking that? The food is what it is. It's normal mcdonald's, like I said. You either eat McDonald's or you don't. If you don't, fine, congratulations and all that. If you do, then you know what I mean by normal McDonald's. It's the worst food you'll ever love.By the way, to the person complaining about the rubbery nuggets and fries, that happens sometimes due to factors involving having to periodically filter the frying oil. If you get nuggets and fries like this, all you have to do is request replacement ones that are fresh. No doubt they will give you them. Still I agree they shouldn't serve them like that and if I was a management in the store I would identify who was responsible for serving rubbish like that to an unsuspecting public and I would conclude a employment-related disciplinary action on them. Such as "warned once, tested twice, FAIL thrice." I would try to phase that worker out of the store, or just fire if/when it happens again.”

“The Restaurant is what I'm reviewing: It has an old nostalgic New England Charm unsurpassed by any of the areas wonderous old properties. You will adore their Clam Chowder, and they have wonderful Seafood in general. Overall, I can not WAIT to head back to this gem :)Food & drinks: Its somewhat pricey, so be ready to pay up, BUT they have a romantic Fireplace in Winter that cheers the soul. [A] drinks are available upon request.”
