My buddies and I came across Freight House Antiques on a very spontaneous and sudden whim. I had been hungry and wanted something local and as we passed by the signs for coffee and whatnot, we decided to turn around and take a chance. Came to get some additional chairs and stayed for a excellent cup of coffee and a slice of outstanding pie! I've had sandwiches, soups, desserts ect the different times I've stopped in and have never been disappointed. Low key place - tons of interesting things to browse through - I've always found a treasure I didn't know I needed.

We have stopped at the Freight House several times traveling from central New York to the Boston area over the past 10 years. We have bought a few things and have always enjoyed the hermit bar cookies. We usually ask to use the restroom seeing this is the midpoint of our trip. We don't mind that they require you to purchase something to use the bathroom. However, today we paid for our hermit bars and iced tea, my wife was given the code.
