Wonderful Boston hotel but when we checked out at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 19 the valet service was zero stars. Even though the station was not particularly busy the wait for our car to come up from the garage was over 25 minutes. When bringing this to the attention of the people in the little ticket office we were told that our car was brought up long ago and was sitting just beyond the porte cochere. This was not true and after another 10 minutes of waiting our car was finally brought up from the garage. Very frustrating since we had a plane to catch, and not at all understandable since, again, the station was definitely not busy. A very poor way to end what was otherwise a delightful five star experience at Encore.

Very unsafe for solo Black travelers. Drunk white men picked a fight with me and another white male mocked my accent on the elevator. A random white male continued to try to poke and shove me while his girlfriend gave me dirty looks. Then got in my face when I addressed the issue. There was more than enough space around us so I'm sure it was intentional. Security came but no one came to my defense. What I realize about Boston is that this is normal here. Not where I'm from. I won't accept it, and I won't be back.

Encore Boston Harbor is very similar to Wynn in Las Vegas, right down to the layout of the room & bathroom. I felt very much at home here since I've stayed at Wynn a number of times. In fact, I chose this hotel because it is part of the Wynn family. Very clean and modern. Excellent restaurants on site. Friendly front desk staff. Beautiful flowers in the main lobby.

This hotel is wonderful. IMMACULATE. The cleanliness was off the charts. The grounds are vast, the gardens lush, and the park is a great place to decompress. Casino typical, nothing noteworthy. Shake shack was a disaster, disorganized and slooooow. The room, we had a suite, was glorious, spacious and filled with amenities. To the reason they got 4 out of 5 stars, beds were wicked uncomfortable, talk of the morning at our meeting. Otherwise a terrific experience a

The Encore Boston has one of the nicest room we have stayed in. at 650sq ft of luxury, we did not want to leave. For a video review of this room, head over to You.Tube and search for 'Tim and Matt Travel' for this and many others! This place really felt like they had taken a bit of Vegas, shrunk it right down and plonked it down in Boston. The room was luxurious with a fabulous view across the harbor, and the casino offered a huge floor with plenty of games to choose from. We are already working out how to get back to Boston to visit again.

This is the best hotel in Boston! When I stepped into that hotel lobby I was impressed of how big it was. The hotel room was gorgeous and humongous. Unfortunately, we only stayed in Boston for 1 day, but I would definitely stay here again.

Just returned from a two night stay at Encore Boston Harbor. It was the most amazing vacations we have ever had. To start, we were given a two bedroom suite. No words can explain how amazing this particular room is. The attention to detail is beyond words. From the decor, to the automated features, to the linens, and bathroom amenities - no detail has been overlooked. My husband is a stickler for construction and appearance and could not get over how perfect the wallpaper met the corners of each room. The rooms were immaculate. Not a speck of dust or dirt. The restaurants were delicious. The casino was fun (made the usual deposits). One of our most favorite things - besides the room - was the water shuttle service back and forth to downtown Boston. Made us feel like we were taking our own private boat back to our little island. We loved everything about our stay and cannot wait to return! Thank you Encore Boston for making this one of the most memorable vacations for my family!!

I booked with AMEX FHR, which was expensive but an elevated experience that was worth it to me. Much cheaper to book direct with hotel. Previously it was mentioned that 100 hotel credit cannot be applied in certain restaurants, but that was not our experience. it was clearly stated at checkin where the resort credit was not applicable and it did not include any of the restaurants. we were upgraded from harbor view king to suite which was amazing. The room service breakfast was good and included with AMEX FHR 40/person. The amenity kit in the room was amazing, included toothbrush, back scrubber, bath salt...etc. Checkin was very unfriendly, no smiles, but sufficient. We did have to check again ourselves when the room was ready as we never got the "text". We had fun in the casino playing 15 dollar blackjack, very friendly dealers. Loved the boat to boston harbor, nice ride for dinner out, please note on the way back, they leave VERY ON TIME/a little early and we missed it.. Will def return for a night in the future.

Nice rooms, nice restaurants, nice hotel. Friendly staff. Feels like Las Vegas near Boston but note this hotel is not in downtown Boston and it is in the middle of an industrial area and the rooms have a view of a huge power plant nearby. The casino is the main attraction here and not much else.

The Encore was excellent in all areas. Service, restaurants, spa, shopping, grounds, shuttles and first rate casino. The rooms were awesome. Very roomy and state of the art. Loved everything about the hotel. The View from our room was beautiful.

This is the second time we have visited the Encore Boston, on both occasions staying in April for the marathon. We enjoyed both of our stays. The room is large and feels luxurious with a good sized bed, comfortable bedding and a stunning view. The controls within the room are all connected to a tablet and are very easy to use. Everything was very clean although we noticed that the bedroom carpet was rarely hoovered during our stay. The bathroom is beautiful and the shower and bath facilities are excellent. Amenities are plentiful and turndown service is a lovely touch. The TV has limited channels but you can connect to netflix etc which is great. The room has a nespresso machine although it's a shame there is no kettle to make tea. We enquired about this but unfortunately it would incur a further charge of $125 to supply a kettle so we opted not to. Reception is stunning and staff are very polite and helpful. The hotel has a free shuttle bus which takes you into Chinatown which is convenient. We also used the shuttle bus to travel back from Fenway Park one evening although I understand this is a pilot. We ate at the garden cafe which was very good and has a lovely atmosphere. The prices at most of the restaurants within the hotel are very high so we chose to eat out most of the time. The hotel would benefit from offering further options in this respect on an evening. We dined at Mystique last year on the all you can eat option. They seem to have stopped this now which is such a shame as it was one of the best meals we had when we came in 2022 and as a result we didn't eat there this year. The car park is large but still gets very busy on an evening. It was frustrating to have to walk through the casino, show ID etc just to reach our room from the car park, but we were informed we could access the hotel via another lift so this wasn't an ongoing issue. Despite a few very small issues the Encore is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. It's not cheap but we would most definitely return based on our previous two stays.

Let me start by saying I am a frequent visitor to Las Vegas Encore (Wynn). So I will mostly be doing a contrast/compare between the two. Boston Encore is no doubt the best hotel/casino resort in the greater New England area. Service, amenities, and security are top notch. Rare Steakhouse is a Michelin quality restaurant. I have eaten at all the best places in New York and Las Vegas and Rare is top tier. Some of the items I had – lobster bisque (one of the best I have had). Fresh oysters – tasted like they had just been caught and shucked. Lamb shank – tender and tasty, no funny lamb flavor. Bone-in New York strip – heaven. Loved the light dry seasoning and eating around the bone. Filet – wife had and it was like butter. Also had great seasoning so I was tasting more than just the meat. One of the better filets I have ever had. Service – 5 star. Drinks – amazing. Loved the smoked Old Fashioned’s they made for us. Xavier was a great server. Rooms – really reminded me of Encore Las Vegas. Rooms are a little smaller though. Toilet seat falls down instead of slowly closing like in Vegas. Nespresso machine in the room. Wish Vegas had one too. Turn down service in all the rooms not just tower suites and Rewards Black rooms. Dining – Boston does not have as many restaurants, but the quality in food and service is equal. Frank & Nicks offer a superior late-night or lunch slice and/or sandwich that is missing from Las Vegas. The pizza here and meatball sub are some of the best I have ever had. Vegas has some dining entertainment options that Boston does not have like Delilah and Lake of Dreams. The Garden Café I would compare to Tableau, Jardin, and Terrace Pointe Café. Except that the Garden Café service was slower. I think they just needed more servers. Casino – let me start with the tables. Blackjack and Craps are my two go-to’s. Table and odds the same as Vegas if you are betting around $25 in craps and $50 in BJ. Where there are some differences is in craps if you like to bet the field or hard-ways, etc. Those odds were not as good as Vegas. BJ has a couple of side bets that will eat you up over time, but that’s not different than Vegas. Machines – Saturday and Sunday were horrible. We lost hundreds each day. Just didn’t seem to be paying off. Tuesday and Wednesday was different. We could not lose. Too little data to make a firm call here. But perhaps machines pay less on weekends? Never noticed that difference in Vegas. Willie Wonka was horrible here compared to Vegas, all days. Drink service – Here there is going to be a sizeable difference. Order a beer in Vegas and you get a 12oz bottle. In Boston, you get an 8oz plastic cup. Hard drinks were also in smaller glasses with smaller pours. Servers were both male and female and not quite as pleasant looking as Vegas. Service before noon was almost non-existent in Boston. I could be at a table for 45 minutes in the morning and never get asked for a drink. Machines were similar. People do not tip the same here (less). But once you were at a table/machine and stayed there, the server came quickly if you tipped them well ($5). Encore did get permission to continue drink service to 4am, past Massachusetts’ curfew of 2am. Spa – just as glorious as Vegas. Clientele/Vibe – Although just as luxurious as Vegas, the majority of visitors here are locals. They dress down, not up. I like to wear a sports coat and I was overdressed. Not much live entertainment here. Miss the piano bar in Vegas. Comping – I was comped about the same for Boston as for Vegas. They did honor my Platinum status. Boston restaurants all give an automatic discount on the food for Rewards members. I got 15% every place I ate. I was also able to use my points to buy stuff as well. Vegas does not offer me those perks. Promotions – So we stayed for four nights and played over five days. Our play qualified us for drawings to win cash or free play. Similar to Vegas. However, I have to be present to win. So the April 15 and April 30 drawings don’t mean anything to me. In Vegas, I can usually use a machine to click to s

I am still in shock. My review is for the casino only. My husband and I arrived to the Casino around 10:30 pm only to leave in 10 minutes without even being able to check out the casino. Upon entering Charlie asked my husband for ID but not when questioned about that was given one response by him and a different response from another coworker. Now after providing my husband's ID to Charlie he turns to my husband and say I need your ID which I explained was just given to him and that lets me know he didn't even look at it. So while I wait for manager 3 to 5 other people enter and were not asked for ID but when another couple entered of the same race they were asked for their ID. I am upset and disappointed and yes I do feel it was an act of discrimination and can't believe that in 2023 we still have these type of issues. Now I did speak with Bartolo who honestly didn't do anything to make the situation better just that he was sorry it happened. I feel that when you change your reasons for asking for ID within 5 minutes you know something just isn't right. I will also be sending my concern to Encore management and I know they have video they can review and see that we were treated unfairly and made to feel uncomfortable.

This is an adults-only hotel for all intents and purposes and they should clearly state that. At some point we felt like a burden to the staff because of our kids. I’ll start with the positives. I spent 2 nights there with my family in March. The place is fabulous from a design and modern comfort standpoint. We had a regular room and it was very big, comfortable and had a great view. Staff are generally helpful and nice. The limited food we tried (more on that in a bit) was delicious. On the flip side, all restaurants (but 1) are located inside the casino so because we have kids we did not get a chance to try any of the amazing restaurants they have and since the hotel is located in a non-walkable area, we had to resort to in-room dining but to make things more complicated, in-room dining is not available from 2-5 PM. During this time, your only option is to basically order food from outside and they refused to bring it up to our room when we asked. Some people might fault us that we should have known better when picking a casino resort with kids but usually hotels would state they are adults only. When we were booking our room, it actually stated (takes up to X children).
