“Dorothy Cox chocolates are a SouthCoast institution. Any chocolate lover won’t regret a visit. My mom’s perennial request was chocolate covered ginger. I didn’t learn until later in life that she lived those “because most people didn’t like ginger” so there was more for her! “
“Only in New England would there be a line out the door for ice cream on a 20 degree day in February! I can't imagine how busy this place would get in the summer. Acushnet Creamery seems to be super popular and for good reason! I had a delicious large ice cream sundae with hot fudge, whipped cream, sprinkles, and two scoops of peanut butter oreo ice cream! I also got a hand-packed pint of strawberry cheesecake ice cream to take home. The prices are totally reasonable, my total was less than $17 with tip for the super friendly and efficient kids working here! The ice cream is somewhere in the middle of the spectrum from dense/creamy to light/fluffy.Would definitely recommend no matter the weather!“
“Omg, by far the best ice cream place around. Tons of choices and has a nice play area for kiddos. They have coffee vanilla twist soft serve, which is what I always get. Delicious!! The service is always pleasant and helpful if you can't decide. Sometimes there's a lot of kids, but even then it's not bad at all since they have so many toys/games. A relaxing and always satisfying experience. Plenty of parking. I keep coming back for more. Disclaimer: highly addictive and not the best for diets LOL.“
“This is a little walk up to the window take out. It is on a very busy corner. But it has been in business for decades. The steamed dogs are always hot and fresh . The deal is 2 hot dogs, choice of chips and canned soda. The price can't be beat.“
“My experience at crumbl today was absolutely, phenomenal!! The service was quick and the ipad kiosks where simple and user friendly. 10/10 recommend, staff was very friendly and helpful.Wheelchair accessibility: Very open area and easy to move around when not supper busy.“
“My only gripe is that they are cash only.Correction:. They corrected it and now take cash, credit, tand and pay...etc. They are awesome. Workers are great and the ice cream is also. If you want great ice cream and snacks you won't be disappointed.“
“Their coffee cookie dough ice cream is my all time favorite from any place, anywhere. It is my go to spot if I want an ice cream treat. I also love that they have pup cups for my dogs too. They always have a long line but it is so worth it! The people that work there are nice and their ice cream is the best around!“
“Arpeggio Cafe is a culinary gem that deserves every star. From the moment you step in, the ambiance exudes warmth, complemented by impeccable service. The menu is a symphony of flavors, each dish a masterpiece. The attention to detail in presentation and taste is exceptional. This establishment sets a standard for excellence, making it a must-visit for discerning coffee enthusiasts.“
“Hidden GEM! Very Yummy Food. My partner got the fish and chips each time and I tried a few others throughout our week. The owner worked their butt off each and every time. He is what service should be. It was a quaint little spot and I can't wait to go back next year if we are in this area! Thanks Jim *Cash Only, but has an ATM there!“
“So many ice cream flavors, so little time. Nice way to have dessert and eat it while sitting at covered picnic tables, field tables or Adirondack chairs. The view of the farm and the setting sun is wonderful. The staff is top notch, kind and considerate as well as helpful.“
“Best place to grab ice cream on a sunny day by the water. Kids sizes are very filling and cost $2 with a huge amount of flavors. Basketball courts, swimming, volleyball, swings, and much more to do. Wait times are longer than fifteen minutes because of the popularity during peak hours.“
“Literally my favorite pizza. Don't let the gas station attachment downgrade their food quality. It's $22 for a VERY large Hawaiian barbecue chicken pizza. It's amazing. Used to be $27 but I think that's because they were charging me for chicken tenders instead of the chicken pizza topping. But it's all good now. Plus there's different kinds of limited sodas and drinks in the convenience store.“
“A nice little place right at the end of the rail trail. They serve Acushnet Creamery ice cream and homemade hot fudge, both of which are fantastic. Suprisingly though, my attention was drawn most to the whipped cream. It is thick and rich, and very tasty too. The service was phenominal as well. The young man at the counter was very friendly and accomodating, and all of the ice creams for my group were made and handed out quickly.“
